It's finally the best time of year! Funnybunny week! For this year I decided to spice things up and do an au a day with the prompt from this year's list. Today's au is the spudsys au by my friend funnybreadd on tumblr and twitter, hope you enjoy!

The day was going by achingly slowly. It was Monday, which usually meant that not a lot of customers would be coming in due to work, but it also meant more focus on cleaning up whenever they had slow service. 

Pomni rubbed her eyes as she wiped down the counter, Gangle had placed her up there due to her excellent communication skills. She looked behind her, eyeing her boyfriend as he scrubbed each of the used kitchen utensils until they were squeaky clean. She and Jax had been dating for a while, moving in together last month. Despite their opposite personalities, they had actually formed a trusting and sweet relationship. Jax would cook for her, hold her when things felt dark, make her laugh to help her smile. And in return, she showed him kindness when he had none, she didn’t put up with his bullshit like the others, and she made him decide to become a better man for himself.

Despite the grueling job, it was what caused them to meet and fall in love. 

She sighed, throwing down the cloth and wiped the sweat off her forehead, all she wanted was to go home and cuddle up with her boyfriend while watching whatever was on the TV. 

A pair of shoulders gripped her shoulders, making her jump before relaxing that it was only Jax. She whacked him across the arm, “Did you really have to do that?”

The rabbit snickered, wrapping his arms around her and resting his head on her forehead, “Yup, your angry face is adorable.”

“Ugh,” she pouted as he pressed a kiss against her hair. “Is there a reason why you’re here?”

“Well, I finished washing up and thought I’d create a bit of entertainment before going home,” he smirked.

Pomni stared at him, “What did you do?”

“Just wait,” Jax snickered, holding her tight with excitement. 

“JAX! WHY IS THERE KETCHUP IN MY SHOES?!” Ragatha screeched.

“JAX! WHY IS THERE BURGERS ALL OVER MY OFFICE FLOOR?!” Gangle screamed. 

Pomni gasped, trying to escape Jax's hold so she could whack him again, but he held her tight and firm as he laughed into her shoulder, “What the hell is wrong with you?!”

“Come on! It’s funny!” He loosened his grip to look at her. “As if you don’t come up with funny things to do as well.”

Pomni pursed her lips, humming a little bit as though she were distracted. 

Jax raised his brow, “What did you do?”

Pomni was about to open her mouth to answer when a scream and a slam of a car door outside alerted them.

“WHO PUT SODA CUPS ON TOP OF MY CAR?!?!?!” Zooble stormed back inside, huffing with rage. “I TRIED TO DRIVE AWAY AND THEY SPILLED EVERYWHERE! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO CLEAN MY CAR?!?!”

Pomni’s body shook with suppressed laughter, Jax joining her with more noisy guffaws. “Aw, Pom-Pom,” he kissed the side of her cheek. “Are you risking a write-up to prank people with me?”

“Well it’s like you said,” she giggled. “I like participating in funny things with you.”

Ok so I accidentally deleted my YouTube channel and it really makes me upset cause not only did I work really hard on those videos, I had that channel for years and found some of my favourite creators and musicians on there. And now it’s gone.

anyway here's the final member of the very extremely dysfunctional family !!!!

i was thinking between tessa and V and J but ended up with V anyway,, because tessa and J both have their own (sort of) fked up forms in canon and i REALLYYYYY wanna use eldritch J in this au somewhere :3

might do silly designs for magical girl J and tessa for funsies tho !!! and maybe cyn since im only drawing her as a camera sobbing

V and cyn do NOT get along at all !!! uzi and doll don't know why, but doll can't really be bothered since V's a good fighter and uzi is still trying to figure out how to use her own solver...

V is the only member who refuses to use the solver ! but she makes up for the lack of solver with her extreme strength (she's very stronk. and violent.) her scythe is double sided hehehe

cyn doesn't talk to V unless extremely necessary :3 doll doesn't either, and uzi only talks to her when they're teasing each other. they really have to learn how to work together !!!!

this au will probably actually go in a madoka magika direction (except ive never seen it and im basing this based on essay videos ive seen),, w my own twist ofc !! i js wanted the uhm. chaos. :)

actually planning a fic for this now because THIS IS SO FUN PLEASE

also i realise ive been tagging absolute solver this whole time but it and cyn are two diff entities here mb 😭🙏🙏
