Any society that accepts disability as an inherent reason for someone to not deserve life is not a society that values the disabled as human beings.

Just read a post about funny reasons little kids have had meltdowns over silly stuff and so many of the comments were like “this isn’t funny or cute I hated reading this” and they got so intricately worded they were for real almost reading as callout posts and I’m losing it I swear so many people think kids are capable of being bad people just bc they personally cant tolerate children

i know it’s been said time and time again in a thousand different ways, and I won’t really be contributing anything new to it, but people really do put too much emphasis on romantic love.

love to me is sending a post to a friend for a fandom that i’m not in because he’s in it and will find it funny. love is buying another dice set for my friend even though she already has over fifty because i know she loves them. love is hating your sibling, not wanting to see or speak to them, and yet you know you would do anything for them, all they have to do is say the word. love is getting a vaccine that you suspected would make you sick for minimum of forty eight hours and turning out to likely be seventy two or more because your mother’s immune system is shot from her chemo, and you don’t want to risk it. love is stepping away from work because your friend is having a mental health crisis and needs someone to talk to her for a little bit. love is making plans with friends, and making new plans when those fall through, even though if you had all met at your current stages of life, you wouldn’t be friends. love is when you look back at all of these and know with absolute certainty that you’d do it all over again. love is all of this and so much more, and I feel so lucky to live in a world with so much love in it.
