can we just talk about how fucking proud we should be of dazai?

remembering him several seasons ago in the port mafia where he trusted nobody and couldnt even see himself as human and one of the only people he did trust betrayed him causing the other to die?? (ango betrayed, oda died)

and in season 5 in the prison arc he is putting his trust in so many other people to succeed.

he puts trust in sigma to get the information the agency needs

he puts trust in chuuya to help decieve fyodor and put dazai's plan in motion. he also trusts chuuya to literally hold a fucking gun to his head and SHOOT HIM. hes suicidal but he actually wants to live (ill do a later analysis on that specifically)

he puts trust in the agency to do what they need to on their own. he puts trust in the president, kunikda, atsushi, kenji, and ranpo to deal with everything outside of the prison.

he puts trust in ango DESPITE HIS PAST BETRAYAL

they never would've succeeded if it werent for the joint efforts of everyone involved and for the trust they put in each other; i just feel like dazai's character development and growth in this aspect is overlooked
