The Butcherbird strikes again! These hunter birds are fascinating to me. South Texas is a major flyway for a number of northern birds. Most Loggerhead Strike spend the summer in the far North nesting and growing strong for their Autumn voyage south to Texas. This bird is still here or already here. I've not seen it but here is the evidence. 8/9/19

I remember how you and your Democratic Party tried to impeach my President Trump over a Ukraine phone call. You accused my President Trump of pay to play. I remember how you and your Democratic Party blamed my President Trump over a pandemic that he had nothing to do with. I remember how you and your Democratic Party encouraged rioting and looting of my great United States of America. I remember how you and your Democratic Party used the media to spread lie after lie about my President Trump. I remember how you and your Democratic Party stole the election from my President Trump. This Trump supporter remembers all that Joe, and will NOT be unifying with your Democratic Party. Your abject criminal dishonesty is treasonous. You belong in prison along with the rest of the Swamp.

Our nurse cow had her calf! My sister had to chain the little one as he was a big boy and a tight fit! Elsie later accepted a twin too...one less calf to mix a bottle for morning and evening. A Jersey, Elsie is a former dairy animal and has lots of fatty milk for orphans. Raising two a year is the norm and they are most often a twin kicked off by its mom. 1/19

Mistakes happen. This girl was bred a bit young and we kept an eye on her til she dropped a calf with no birthing problems. I'm proud of her. 3/5/19

Well my day didn't turn out as expected so I went walking and found these in the pasture.
