Brianna Ghey was a 16 year old trans girl who was murdered on Saturday 11 February 2023 in the UK.

and as you can imagine, there are some dickheads who are dismissing this tragedy, cheering on this crime, and celebrating at this loss of life BECAUSE Brianna was trans.

this is what transphobia leads to. this is what happens when irrational hate for trans people, because these bigots seem to forget that we are PEOPLE, remains prevalent in wider society. this is what happens when the basic human right to live as happily and healthily as possible is discarded and overstepped for the sake of remaining in the repressive and oppressive status quo that benefits no one but the privileged.

you lose the ability to see other people as people. you lose your humanity, all for a moment of feeling superior over someone whose life is different to your own.

okay i’ve calmed down over the jumpscare. actually with my headcanoning of espio being trans it’d make sense if he wears a fake removable horn since afab jackson’s chameleons don’t have horns. however the image in my mind of espio without a horn is too cursed to think about any further

Another example of why I love my mom…

So I was working on a test with my mom, who is great with nutrition and apparently drug studies as we’ve found. Eventually, we get to a question and my brain shut off completely for a good minute and a half. To quote her,

“What are anabolic steroids made from- Bull testicles.”

And the only thing I could reply with, after feeling all of my brain cells die within me for a moment, was “I really hope you’re not right.”

And guess what?

SHE. WAS. GODDAMN. RIGHT. ABOUT. IT.

Steroids are made from testicles apparently, being derived from testosterone found in- as my mom puts it- “the testies.”

I was bored so I decided to draw Whisper the Wolf from the IDW Sonic The Hedgehog comics wearing a pink ballerina’s tutu and gracefully and elegantly dancing ballet.
