I haven’t posted in a while but idk who else to talk to abt this. So im in Mamma Mia right now (high school production) and 3/4 of the production is comprised of Mormons. (That includes the director, choreographer, lead, Rosie, and lots of the ensemble) I am not Mormon but i do not judge or have opinions on any religion. I believe there’s an energy force but idk. ANYWAYS. They cut does your mother know and let me just say while I love that song I don’t really care because I understand it’s a high school production and it’s a bit raunchy consider we have some younger people in the production (like 10-12 year olds which I’m also angry about cause they only got in cause they are Mormon) and families watching and stuff. What really makes my wanna punch something and cry, they cut an insignificant line that “goes against their religion” (it doesn’t really) because it’s when Harry says he’s in a relationship with a man. IT IS SUCH A SMALL LINE. The full line is “Donna you were the first girl I loved, actually you were the last girl I loved. Families come in all forms. For you it’s you and Sophie. For me it’s me and Nigel. I’m glad I get you share a third of Sophie” it’s a beautiful line, but it’s so small it shouldn’t matter. NO. It shouldn’t fucking matter if it was a big line! It’s a school rule that the school/school programs MUST be non-partisan and non-discriminatory. I am going to be SOOOOO passive aggressive about this you have no idea. I can’t express how sad this makes me.

I love hazbin hotel, it’s good, the fandom’s a bit crazy though and that’s what I want to talk about. Alastor. He’s confirmed asexual, we know this, he used to be confirmed aroace but I believe they changed it. Now my problem is the fact that people have been sexualizing him and drawing him in sexual situations and making everyone on the aroace spectrum feel uncomfortable and erased. When people say “Just because he’s asexual doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to have sex” you would be right because it’s IS a spectrum but that does not mean you should assume that he does. You’re sick for ignoring someone’s sexuality to be able to draw him having sex with vox or Lucifer. Why is sex SO important to all of you? It kinda scares me because if you’re willing to ignore a fictional character’s preferences what are you willing to do to a real person? I’m not trying to make anyone mad I just genuinely am a little nervous, I encountered someone in the fandom who quite literally said to me “I’LL SEXUALIZE WHOEVER I WANT LEAVE ME ALONE” do you know how scary that is to hear that people think that way?
