Hi and thank you! Any of my creature outfits for sims can be easily turned into deco object, just import all parts of the mesh in Blender (or rip a whole sim), combine into one, get it attached to a same rig, pose it as you want and reimport back in Sims4Studio via "create a 3d object". No plans for anything for now but thank you for the suggestion!

Blender 2.80, no sculpting, modeling only. Used this lesson as a base, very beginner friendly, got a couple of useful tips. Definitely recommend as a practice if you tend to improve your Blender skills!

I've played a lot with a concept of a "generally good" (or generally sane π) player character choice and came up with something like green or blue colored card (since these are usually symbolize safety and peace). I also had to restrain myself constantly from painting everything in bright and vibrant colors (too bright for the plot imo π)
Have a small advice those reading to the end: remember to check out your artwork from the distance - if you can say clearly what's happening on the picture from say 15-20% distance that's a good one

Photoshop tip: turning your sims into drawings
Choose a proper image. You need a good (3+ different light sources) lighting for filter to work better. Make sure there are no black spots on your sim or they're covering a very little spaces. If you render in Cycles, don't forget to enable denoise option.
Open Photoshop, go to Filters --> Artistic --> Cutout
3. We have pretty decent result already but don't be afraid to play with available settings. Press Ok.
4. Let's make a copy of our image using CTRL + J shortcut.
5. While this new layer selected, clean Cutout filter and follow the same path: Filters --> Artistic but this time it will be Poster Edges
6. We'll use it to restore the details that were lost after using Cutout. We won't need them all, just enough to make our sim more cartoonish.
7. Grab a basic hard round brush, reduce the size and check the opacity and flow to be 100%. I also recommend to play with layer filling, in my case it set to 65%.
8. Invert the mask (default is white - 100% layer visibility, CTRL + I to make it black with 0% layer visibility)
9. Now draw the missing details with white color on the black mask. It can be anything you think should be preserved.
10. You can add as many similar adjustment layers as you want, use it wisely!

Dressing preferences! Clothes do not have to be expensive or popular, it just needs to look stylish and organic combined together. The second thing would probably be how the person moves / stand / look at something. I'll get my first impression judging by their movements

I've grown amongst domesticated birds - chickens and ducks (we didn't eat them, so they were way more like a real pets). Had two of them as a pets in childhood (raised in my room like a cat or something π) , one is still alive by the way despite how many years have passed

What do you think about (in)sanity control system? Quite fitting for a horror (game? why am i addressing it as a game π) if you ask me. Haven't seen many games using them as a part of a gameplay really.
The horrors beyond human comprehension - now bi-languaged! I'd definitely love to add more immersive icons instead of piles of boring text: it catches player's attention and simplifies the integration process.

Hi everyone!! I came here to tell: I'm taking a short break from creating cc for the Sims 4.
I've been thinking about doing so for a long time. Since you guys keep following me and also supporting my work on Boosty (thank you so much!!) I feel sort of responsible for any of my actions, hiatus included. Don't worry, this blog stays active, I'll be posting from time to time until decide to return to cc. Ask remains open too!

It's a long process and there are a plenty of tutorials: mesh preparing, weight transfer, cleaning, baking. For the start I suggest you to watch this one:

it's time to show the working process! While I'm having a short break from rendering \ texturing \ posing \ ripping things π
The amount of work I had to perform is colossal comparing to my previous posts (it is somewhere near Sally Face and Fallout 4 posts) I have extremely warm feelings towards Prototype game series since it's been with me from childhood (even though the game itself IS NOT for children that's for sure π )
I've started from the idea. You need to know exactly what you're going to do before actually doing anything. So I've drawn a couple of simple sketches where Alex - the main protagonist - was depicted in various situations. The one sketch was a pure action scene: a tendril barrage devastator and a lot of Blackwatch troopers around - I've decided to stick to that at first.
I've yet had to realise that I'm critically missing models needed to build a convincing city background (burned cars, banners, pedestrians, etc.). Even though I've had some of characters and vehicles, it obviously wasn't enough. That's where you start to think how to solve the problem.

"I'll just rip them off the game!" me said with instant regret. I've ripped the models, yes, and then I realised how Ninja ripper works π I then decided that scrolling through 1000++ ripped parts of models and again put them back into one piece is not the thing I want to spend time for.
So instead I found a map - a whole city map and was pretty satisfied even if there wasn't a single prop on it. The textures I ripped gave me a perceptible advantage - I made banners and I could now cover the ground with original ingame textures instead of trying to imitate them in Photoshop. The map is called gm_bigcity, I used Garry's mod map ported to SFM.
I started to build a scene. Was fun at first, but then I've noticed something. The bigger scene grew the less FPS I had in the viewport. I ended up with being unable to finish posing. It was only 200 000 ~ vertices and it is already too much for old computers. Will I be able to finish this poster one day I wonder? I like it a lot :(
It wasn't a time for sorrows so I had to give up on that idea and move towards the next - the one that did not require too much models involved. The one you can see on the posters below:

Me and my friend (whose computer was used to render all of that) did render a lot of pictures from various angles but as you can see very few of them were actually used to create a finished poster.
And here is the one cover image that took me eternity to complete. I took clothing and claws from 2012 game and face with spikes from 2009 game and merged them into one solid model, posed it and rendered. I don't really like what Radical Entertainment did to Alex's face in Prototype 2 (and made him an empty cliched villain in general) so the original one seemed the best choice.

Prototype 2 conversion
Whip comes in two forms: default (left) and flexible (right). The flexible one does not appear in a right way in CAS because it is using stigmata bone, so you may need to pose it a little bit by yourself. Rotate stigmata to define the whip's rotation and move it to measure its length.
Shields are located in R and L rings. Can be used for both arms at a time.
Armor is fully morphable. It also supports all kind of listed weapons. Your sim can wear it with and without helmet.
