Here is the rough draft of one of the alternate personalities for my OC. He is a dog demon, specifically a German Shepherd.

This is personality is best described as a disgruntled cop/detective, who will do anything to solve a case. He’s basically a stereotypical detective: clever, perseverant, thinks outside the box, and definitely has problems with alcoholism and smoking. Imagine those old black and white detective shows combined with Sebastian Castellanos from the Evil Within.

He’s not the most social person, however he knows how to get someone talking through drinks and persuasion. He tries to gather as much information as possible before making consequential decisions.

Dusttale: Revived | Character Concepts Pt.1

I’m going to be creating front & back views of character designs for what I’ve decided to call this “AU”, Dusttale: Revived.

In these blogs, I’ll show the design concept for a character along with a brief description of their role in the story.

As I stated before, this story is gonna focus more on the NPCs (at least in the first half). So most of these design concepts are gonna be side/background characters from the game (there are gonna be main/boss characters in the story as well).

Now onto the first 2 character designs:

Dr. Robert “Bob” Temmer:

Dr. Temmer is a scientist that works alongside Dr. Serif on testing & experimenting with the revised DT injections & their side effects.

He usually wears a tired & annoyed expression when out in public, but does get a hint of smile when his wife visits him at lunch.

He doesn’t fully agree with Dr. Serif’s way doing things, but doesn’t exactly have a lot of authority or power to fight back. So he just mumbles his complaints & avoids causing trouble.

Mrs. Temantha “Temmie” Temmer:

Temantha, or just Temmie, is the lovely wife & #1 supporter of Dr. Temmer.

They both use to live back in Waterfall in Temmie Village, but after an incident, they moved into the MTT Hotel (which was renovated to act as housing for the remaining survivors).

While many find her annoying & a bit too lovey-dovey with her husband, Temmie is able to make the most sour individual wear the biggest smile.

These are just the basic designs for now. I’ll most likely be creating more detailed character sheets for characters, but I just want to get a basic design concept & backstory done first.

I finally watched and finished the 1st season of Hazbin Hotel, and I absolutely fell in love with this show, the characters, the art style, the story, the music.

Now I want to try and create my own original character for this show. I have some ideas that I want to do, but I want to get more insights and suggestions for what I should do with this character.

Here are the basics so far:

-They were a human that sinned and went to Hell after death (obviously).

-They resemble a dog, still deciding on breed.

-They had Dissociative Identity Disorder during their life. (I want to try and draw characters with mental disorders/illness, so this is where I’ll need the most insight on to make I’m representing them properly).

-The alternate personalities came down to Hell with the character and are attached (mental & physically) to the character.

-Each personality would be a different dog breed.

-The personalities can make themselves visible to others without taking control, but it takes a lot of energy to do so.

-In their full demon, they resemble a huge 5-headed dog demon with varied horns on each head, 4 front legs (arms), 4 back legs, and 5 tails. Each head, tails, and certain limbs portray one of the personalities.

-I’m still coming up with a backstory, powers, and if they should work at the hotel or just occasionally visits.

Theatre Overlord OCs Updates

Sorry for not posting in a while, started to lose motivation for drawing and just writing in general.

But I’m working on the designs and bio for the main Theatre Overlord OCs, along with working on “previous” overlords that worked in the theatre before…”retiring”.

I won’t give too much away, but I do want to relay some information and get feedback.

Information

The official name of the theatre, for now anyways, is “The Strings-Attached Theatre”.

The Puppeteer is now called “Thee Puppeteer”.

Thee Puppeteer is able to “Puppetified” individuals who they deem “Disobedient” or “Undesirable”. Who’ll see a few of these past overlords in some fan art surrounding Thee Puppeteer.

Thee Puppeteer’s strings are made from a material they call “Angel’s Iron”, which is made from extreme amounts of angel blood. “But where does Thee Puppeteer get all this angel blood?” I’m sure you all can put the pieces together.

While most of the previous/potential theatre overlords don’t add much to the story, mainly just adding flavor text, there are a few that give more “character” to the current theatre overlords.

That’s all the new information for now.

He’s based off a Sarda Goat.

He’s only an inch taller than Neue, and his hair is in a partial ponytail, he also has a few chipped teeth.

As stated in the poll, Mary is essentially a limited time toy to celebrate the 3rd Year anniversary of the Smiling Critters.

While sharing a similar appearance to the Smiling Critters, her plush has a few add-ons:

Her hooves & inner ears are covered in sequins, and she has visible eyelashes. If you squeeze her torso, Mary will talk & sing nursery rhymes. She even comes with her very own book.

For her body, I mainly used different parts of Craftycorn & some bits from Bubba.

Also I was having a hard time figuring out the difference between a German Chamomile flower & a Roman Chamomile flower.

Mary may have ties to another character(s).
