This!! I Could Never Put My Finger On It But As Ftm Myself I Feel Much The Same.

I refuse to give up my optimistic mood so here is my list:

• Against all odds my mental health has improved (significantly). This was the first year I truly felt like there is hope to heal and I'm not broken beyond repair.

• I made actual plans for my future

• My senior kitty is still alive^^

• I made a lot of pretty decorations for my room. It is finally becomeing a Ｎｅｓｔ^^

hey honest question, did anybody have GOOD stuff happen to them in 2024? cause it was really bad for me and for most people i know, so it would be nice to hear about anything that's been going WELL for any of you. even if it's small stuff. just to know there's light out there.

Just tried instant coffee

Just came across a map of DCU!USA and I have questions.

After seeing such gems like: Empire City, Science City, Superior City,

My favourite trio; Smallville (A-OK we've heard 'bout you before), Littleville and Big City (??)

But let's not forget about Casino town, Monument point and Amnesty Bay

Who named these towns??(Both in real life and in the comics) Why? Did they have fun??For what reason do half of them contain the word 'City' in itself?? Or am I dumb and this is normal for the US?

Can I too have a nice dad please? *cue kicked puppy expression*

Do not punish the behaviour you want to see

I mean, it seems pretty obvious when you put it like that, right?

But how many families, when an introvert sibling or child makes an effort to socialize,  snarkily say, “So, you’ve decided to join us”?

Or when someone does something they’ve had trouble doing, say, “Why can’t you do that all the time?” (Happened to me, too often.)

Or any sentence containing the word “finally”. 

If someone makes a step, a small step, in a direction you want to encourage, encourage it. Don’t complain about how it’s not enough. Don’t bring up previous stuff. Encourage it.

Because I swear to fucking god there is nothing more soul-killing, more motivation-crushing, than struggling to succeed and finding out that success and failure are both punished.
