Jared: You’re suspending me? But that’s not fair! I didn’t start the fight!

Teacher: The other kids say that you did, Jared. They’re saying it’s your fault.

Jared's Father: Why did you make me do that, Jared? It's all your fault!

Claire: This relationship is over, Jared! And it’s your fault!

Thoughts/Notes

I actually thought about omitting this part because I don't want to scare anyone off. 😬

I will admit, this turned out to be a bit heavier/more dramatic than I intended. 😅 Sorry for the slightly darker themes than usual, but I felt like it was important to share a glimpse into Jared’s troubled backstory before going forward. He has a very deep sense of guilt and shame instilled within him that has tailed him most of his life as a result of his mother's death and his father's mistreatment of him (and it definitely plays a big role in his behavior).

Pauline: Frida, are you okay? Xander just filled me in on everything!

Frida: *angrily* Why don’t you ask your boyfriend if I’m all right, Pauline? And maybe convince him that I’m not a damn murderer while you’re at it.

Pauline: Frida... I’m sorry for everything that’s happening, and you know I’m here for you, but that’s not a fair thing to say to me. I’m not Hank’s handler. He’s just doing his job.

Frida: I know, I know. I’m just exhausted. I’ve been up all night. I’m sorry, Pauline. I’ll call you later, okay?

Frida: This is just too much. They’re saying Erik was murdered… my brother is missing, which means he’s a possible suspect or—or he could be hurt! And Jared got shot right in front of me…

Xander: Shit is fucked, I know. What can I do to help? Do you want me to leave, give you some space?

Frida: I can’t handle any of this right now. I... I don’t want to be alone. But you can leave, if you want to…

Xander: I’m not going anywhere.

Xander: But shit, Frida… I have to tell you something. I fucked up big time. I did something… bad. Like, really bad. I’m worried you’re never going to forgive me.

Xander: … Frida?

*soft snoring sounds*

Xander: *sigh* Fair enough… you get some rest.

Xander: I’ll be fine… I can get out of this… Yeah, everything will be fine… right?

I love the music in this world so much.

Apparently I don't know how to have my sims cool down when they're too hot, because they keep catching on fire and almost dying when traveling to Egypt. xD

Sorry for the Al Simhara spam, but I think this world is gorgeous. WA is definitely one of my favorite expansions.

After a while I start feeling antsy to get back to regular gameplay though.

I like to use MC to age up everyone in town by a few days when I return home so that my traveling sims' lifespans don't feel soooo long compared to everyone else's.
