An ancient ancestor to harpy-kind that has never known the breath of dragons.

Lapras mate for life and ever find themselves another partner after the passing of their previous one.

So seeing this bull on his own with two calves it's likely that his partner had passed leaving him to rear the kids on his own. Judging by the sheer size of this specimen he's fairly old and probably has a fair bit of experience raising previous calves. His partner possibly died of old age before he did. So the calves are in very good hands.

“Come on! Show me the real Sun Wukong! The old you would have leveled this whole mountain range to stop me!”
