As much as I see where youare coming from, I don't think that making comments on their appearence is inhenrently bad, at least through compliments.
I can say a girl looks good in someway, hell even 'hot', and it doesn't necessarily mean I'm trying to hit on them, I'd just be stating that they look good, attractive, or whatever.
Obviously, it doesn't mean that some men won't use it in an attempt to hit on a girl, but it really isn't something to be uncomfortable about from the start unless the first 10 words make it clear as day
Otherwise, only thing women need to do (and some men, surprisingly!) is be more observant and analytic of the person, and think about both possibilities and what the one happening is more similar to.
In regards to those acting in those kinds of ways, yeah, that's a whole other story, people doing that kinda stuff should really think about if that's the smartest way to find someone.
And as for telling no, sorry to point this out to you, but that's an extremely bland statement, there's nothing wrong in trying to say no before anything else, is there?
Just because there was one guy like that, doesn't mean that all are like that, I've seen multiple girls do the exactly the same kind of thing to their boyfriends, both in media, and a few of my real life friends.
Speaking off, this is completely unrelated, but it made me recall that, whenever there's been a girl who's been y'know, raped, everyone seems to scream out about it and whatnot and feel bad for her, which is good, of course people should worry and care for rape victims, it must be quite a traumatizing exeperience
However, when the same happens to a man, no one really cares or listens, here on tumblr, they assume the man had done something for it and deserved it, there is obvious evidence online that courts are more biased towards women in general.
hell, did you know it is literally legal for a women to sue a man for child support even after raping them?
This site is full of people who always cry out sexism while always saying that all men are bad and justifying hate towards them, the irony. Where did all of this "equality" go to?
Anyways, I've beaten about the bush for too long, at least you said that not all men are like that, next step up is to recognise and say that the majority of men aren't like that.
Straight men have no idea of how uncomfortable they make women, to a point where women are automatically on guard whenever they meet a new guy. I know this firsthand because every time I meet a girl and she finds out I’m gay, I can visibly watch her guard drop; her body language changes to complete relief. It’s pretty astounding to observe.
Granted, I’m sure if a girl is homophobic it’s a different story, but you get my point.
what is the coolest rock you have?
probably one of these but i dont know what kind they are
this, most accurate mood.
@keiimyeh you should look at this, love, I'm sure you know why.

Tumblr’s at it again, thanks to the new European Privacy Laws. There’s probably nobody who will read this, but it pissed me off so much that I decided to make a post about it. (Ignore the weird language mish-mash, depending on your country the language might differ.)
OK, so many of us get this screen when we try to access our dash:
Realise how the ‘OK’ button is a nice, attention-grabbing blue? If you’re like me, you’re not exactly into reading a 100 pages document and tend to just click it.
My tip? DONT. Instead click on ‘Manage Options’ right next to it:
Now you’ll see this page:
Still pretty harmless, right? That ‘Accept’ button is looking really attractive right now. Instead, click on Verwalten (Probably something like ‘Manage Options’ or something in english) and you’ll get to this page:
Now that’s not too bad, right? I just switched all the buttons to ‘off’, because I’m jealously guarding my personal information and don’t want Tumblr to go off and do who knows what with it. Looks like we’re done! But wait: There’s a SHOW option.
When we click on that one, what we will get is this:
A HUGE list with OVER 300 ENTRIES of companies that can use your data by default if you’d just clicked ‘OK’ on that very first page. Coincidence that this list is hidden that much? Me thinks not. They’re all switched on by default, but I am still a petty bitch that doesn’t want to give out her data, so I switched them all off. All 300+ of them. There is no option to switch them all off at once, and even if you disable all the options above, the companies are still switched on.
(If you wonder how i got that number, I copied the list into excel and looked at the cell number. No way am I actually counting all those entries)
Fucking hell..
I can't even begin to explain how bad shit will be if this happens..
I already explained in another reblog, in any case
This could still affect people even if they're not in America, so please, even if you're not there to be able to call, please do spread thw word, reblog, anything would do
And if you are there, please do call, at least once, and if possible as much as you can, daily would be great, if more then you're a fuckin' hero.
And again, it's just simple, the instructions are in https://www.battleforthenet.com
they provide you with a script after you enter your number to help you on what to say if you don't know
It's not asking for a donation of $500, $50, or $10 dollars, it's just asking for a bit of your time, to make sure that you, and everyone else who uses the internet, is able to actually enjoy it.
this shit can make big companies monopolize the fucking internet market, and other smaller companies, individuals, start-ups, etc depend on the internet speed being the same for every website to actually get somewhere
If you don't have enough money, you go in the slow lane, and therefore have to put up more ads or payed services for whatever you provide to actually make some money, but people would rather go to places with less ads, and less cost, as well as faster speeds to get somewhere
so therefore, you can't pay for the 'fast lane'
and therefore, you're back where you started
and it's this constant loop of the poor get poorer and the rich get richer that suddenly also enters the internet.
This if i'm not incorrect could also become something where you have to pay to access some websites, I doubt so, and that ones probably some false rumour, but still
And again, if you're in the US, please, just go to the website and do what it says, it's not asking for much
Thank you
today is Nov. 15. the FCC, under chairman Ajit Pai, will not listen to the public despite millions of comments in support of net neutrality. They are going to try their hardest to kill net neutrality, which in turn will kill the internet, which in turn will help eradicate democracy. it won’t just affect Americans, it has the potential to affect the entire internet, something we ALL use daily. you can bet your ass other countries will see america doing this, and use it as an excuse to do it in their own countries.
portugal has no net neutrality. this is what buying a plan looks like there:
you have to pay MORE for features you’re already guaranteed to have under net neutrality. and in america, you already know how expensive everything is.
democrats AND republicans both want net neutrality. advocacy groups in touch with congress have said that if your members of congress receive calls from you, they are more encouraged and more likely to take action to stop Pai’s plan to gut net neutrality. after Nov. 22, it will be MUCH HARDER to convince your member of congress.
please, call them. call them daily.

When girls say “Listen, bitch” to another girl they’re likely friends, when they say “Listen, sweetie” they are definitely not friends.
