He loves and respects The Seven in the closest way Arthur Aguefort is physically capable of approaching towards a sensible mentor figure (which is still not very much)

He is neutral towards most other parties

AND he loves The Bad Kids except he is doing so in the way that an absolutely unhinged friend of your parents who calls himself your uncle cares for you (he is sleeping off a hangover on your couch, eating all your snacks, and engaging you in psychological warfare but also he has some wild stories to tell you while taking you into the woods and teaching you how to throw knives (if you promise not to narc on him to your parents))

I can't stop thinking about Travis' face when Lottie mentioned Javi, because of course that would work.

It's not even just because Javi's in the Wilderness and he wants to stay with him, but the thought of going home without him? Out of everyone, Travis is the only one whose return would be painful to his remaining family. He returns home not proud that he survived, but ashamed that he didn't bring his little brother with him. He's probably already ashamed that Javi died instead of him, if Travis died then at least their mother would feel comforted knowing he died protecting his little brother. Now? If he comes home instead of Javi, it's because he failed to protect him. Every time he protected himself he must have felt selfish, like he was choosing himself over his baby brother.

Imagining his life after rescue, I can see why Travis ended up where he did. I can see why anything he does to keep himself safe or make himself happy felt like a moral failing after he couldn't do any of it for Javi. I can see why, as much as he desperately wants to live, the thought of going home and telling his mom what happened made him want to stay in the Wilderness with his brother.

it's not that cassandra is feeling neglected imo bc kristen is actively rejecting her lmao, but i think there's something to the idea that cassandra is a reflection of kristen. she doesn't act like kristen (not even any previous iteration of kristen) but she does look like kristen and represent a time in kristen's life that she maybe doesn't want to think about, possibly because of a certain someone tattooed on her neck that's not here anymore👀👀

ok ok ok not to uh. get up in weeds about the whole cass and kristen thing but i keep seeing people say like ‘i feel so bad for cassandra’ but an important thing that i feel like we need to remember that brennan has emphasized throughout previous seasons about the gods is that they are the reflection of their followers. cass looks like kristen because they are kristen.

when cass is feeling neglected and shunted aside do we think maybe it’s cuz who kristen actually is is being neglected? they have spent the whole summer trying to save the world, that doesn’t leave time for them to like process what they’ve gone through and who they are so maybe cass feels dejected cuz kristen doesn’t know who she is either

erza and cana are basically canon wlw - am i wrong?? jellal’s the only guy erza’s ever liked and cana might go for a guy once in a while but wouldn’t be serious about it.

lucy and juvia are gay as hell. i refuse to accept juvia’s obsession with gray as romantic bc thats not what i think romance is but i definitely do believe it was sexual. also juvia is definitely somewhere in the enby spectrum. 

gray had a crush on erza at some point, probably also on natsu tho tbf. not lucy or juvia, at all - he’s definitely some form of demi, possibly asexual.

i can’t see jellal ever having romantic feelings for anyone but erza, so i’ll call him greyromantic. he’s also definitely asexual. not sex repulsed, but it isn’t something he has any desire for.

gajeel has always been ftm in my head and i have absolutely no reason for that. he n levy are doing great being str8 together, and i’m p comfortable saying they’re both straight.

also QUEERPLATONIC NALU is the future. lucy kinda thought it might be romantic at some point but natsu is very aromantic and now they chill and eat ice cream together. they are always mistaken for a couple, esp since natsu will get jealous if lucy spends more time w her partner than him but their solution for that was for natsu to tag along on dates like their kid.

natsu dragneel is aroace and overall a no labels guy in general. lucy heartfila is bi leaning guys but we all know she has a gf. gray fullbuster is gay or bi. erza scarlet is bi leaning girls.

natsu has a close ass relationship with lucy but they're not romantic in any way. they enjoy eachothers company, spend one on one time together etc (im bad at explaining JDNDKXJD). if juvia's obsessive and unhealthy behaviour towards gray wasn't canon, she'd probably be crushing on lucy. gray.... oh, gray. he is. oh, you know. erza is just vibing.

Genuinely I think so much of the fandom discourse could be helped by admitting this. You can find villains hot, you can find villains scary, villains can piss you off, but I haven't seen anyone arguing that she's not a bad person. She's a bully, she's manipulative, she's selfish, she hates everyone but herself, she's miserable to be around, she traded in her tragically fridged wife for a bootlicking henchman. All of these are BEAUTIFUL villain qualities.

does anyone remember who in the bad kids told the others about what they saw in the nightmare forest? i think fabian did and i'm almost certain riz didn't but they keep (accidentally?) triggering each others' forest traumas and it seems like A Thing.

fabian flirted with a mirror right next to riz and everyone teased him about kalina being his girlfriend, riz suggested gorgug answer the riddle for all of them under threat of being killed and eaten by a big animal, fig created a sexy rat for when fabian was talking to spot. is this anything.
