Yeaahhhhh whitewashing is a huge thing in this fandom, I’ve seen plenty of whitewashing art of Amanda

I fell into this hole with Joanne that one time because I got confused with the lighting, but now I draw her the way she’s supposed to be (thank fucking god) , sorry if you saw that, I redrew it with a more accurate version!

There’s a frustrating amount of whitewashed Joanne fanart that I feel isn’t getting the pushback it warrants. Granted, this sort of thing isn’t new for the ATA fandom.
