ive been rotating him in my mind so much he manifested on my desktop

probably worth mentioning that ive been getting a good chunk of my poses lately from @adorkastock very helpful for figure drawing, would recommend checking them out

so question for anyone willing to throw ideas my way how does one go about making an interesting "boring" character as in, a character who's entire design motif is being a generic, regular guy ive been thinking circles around this for months now and i really just want to do something with this idiot oc i have to make him interesting and fitting in with the rest of the cast (who are all dressed up like varying versions of fantasy adventurer shenanigans) while still keeping that central boring-ness to him but im at a loss specifically thinking about like visual character design, for the record

kuneko, the most "oc, do not steal" character to ever exist, and we love that for her started as a normal doodle but very quickly ballooned into me putting way too much effort into it lol version without the crt effect below the cut

First of all, I thank everyone who participated, you all are amazing and I love each and every one of you, I'm happy to see my ocs in your styles and see how much effort you put in!! And if you didn't get 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, don't worry! Your drawings were still very awesome, and I loved them all!!! :3💕

I evaluated the drawings in terms of details that “were not placed or were not in the right place”, and seriously, that's COMPLETELY okay, this is a Dtiys and everyone has their own style and way of drawing! Whether you put it in the right place or not, it doesn't matter, I loved them all, it was only when I evaluated that I chose to be like this, but don't worry, I loved all the drawings, fr!!!

Also- I didn't evaluate them for reasons of intimacy and background because then it would be a bit “boring(?)” for me, because it's not like I have an affinity with the person or that their background got so beautiful that the other one who made the most accurate drawing will be in last place or something, you know?

But anyway, don't be sad! Know that all your efforts were not in vain, and who knows, maybe I can bring you guys a little surprise.....?👀

So yeah, thank you ALL very much again for participating, the drawings were beautiful and I was SO glad that you guys took a “little (or a lot)” of your time to do this redesign!! Everything you guys did made me so happy and, seriously, thank you so much for everything, I will keep all the drawings with great care and love!!!💕
