Hell yeah. Time for me to blab about the comic instead of the meme.

Anyone remember this legend of a comic? Tintin, arguably Hergés greatest work.

Action packed, full of mysteries, and humorous, Tintin is one of the greatest comics ever. It’s one of the first stories that got me into analyzation, one of the reasons I love mysteries and puzzles today.

Admittedly, some parts (Mainly Tintin in the Congo and The Blue Lotus) of the comic are rather…Ehh, blunt and straight, racist. It gets really stereotypical at times, Hergé has actually admitted to solely confirming to the stereotypes at the time.

The art style itself is simple but improves over time. There is no variation in the paneling but it gets the job done. The lettering/speech bubbles can be kinda confusing for new readers but you get used to it eventually.

The characters are kinda flat. Fitting to their descriptions with no questions asked, no real backstory for anyone. But this a comic from the 20th century, cut it some slack. They fit well together though, all of them fitting together to make a great cast.

The storylines? That’s the gold. Really intriguing, having plot twists and suspense all the way through. If not for the plot, I probably would’ve stopped reading.

Do I recommend this? Yeah. Will it be hard to read in the beginning? Yes. But stick for the storylines, some peak writing is found there ngl.

My parents let me watch Seinfeld when I was younger (not those episodes) and I loved it. Still do.

Kramer was/is one of my favorite characters in the whole show. Ya gotta love him.

Don’t you love it when tumblr people just all connect to a single idea and end up expanding said idea into an amazing concept.

J’onn can see everyone’s thought patterns but he doesn’t know what’s considered “abnormal” right? What if one day, someone (idk just some hero) gets diagnosed and J’onn finds out.

The martian then commits some of his time to studying the magic of neurodivergence. As he compares his findings to his notes/observations, he realizes that,

“Oh. (Insert name) has (insert diagnosis).”

Then he either immediately tells the person or just helps them through it or both idk

It would be a little funny if the only person who knew Batman was autistic was J'onn. No one else. Not Clark. Not Diana. Not Alfred, not Bruce– just one telepathic guy with decent pattern recognition and access to the public enough to expose him to a bunch of different kinds of people.

Also:

Bruce thoughts: I get along with J'onn very well and working with him is an easy task; he understands me without demanding more information or speech from me. These are the benefits of being friends with a telepath.

J'onn thoughts: I have lowered the lights by fifteen percent and stayed within his field of view the entire time and his emotions are— no, that's normal— and his responsiveness has increased based on his level of comfort.
