TA-DA!!!!!~

I know the dialogues are a bit blurry, but this is the best I can do without having to segmented into two posts.

I thought of this story a year ago, now I can finally cross it off my list! It was really fun telling this story in a web comic format, the vibrant color and format fitted perfectly with story >.< 

It was a story inspired by my coworker, the first sentence in this story is actually his verbatim XD, he loves loves LOVES big dogs, but he got a Pomeranian instead because his wife wants one… 

This story will have a few extra scenes, it won’t be in the same quality, just some simple 4 panel monochromatic comics ᕕ ( ᐛ ) ᕗ

Midoriya: What thing?

Bakugou: The thing that never fails to make me happy.

Midoriya: Oh.

I feel like a lot of people don't really get how Midoriya could be so enamored with aggressive little Bakugou, as it probably clashes with their vision of him as a soft boy with no aggressive tendencies (which is...simplistic at best). But I think it makes a lot of sense, personally. As someone with social anxiety, to me, being kind first is not...easy, it's just safe. I react with kindness to everything because then nobody will be mean, or they'll stop being mean. Hopefully everyone will like me if I'm nice. I think people that are bold and don't care about what others think of them are the coolest, bravest people, and for little Midoriya, to see this kid proudly being himself, not letting anyone knock him down physically or metaphorically, well, it made Midoriya all 😳😳💓💓 "Kacchan sugoi;" you know the line. I can just see it, see the awe he had for Kacchan, feel how he felt. Platonic, romantic, whatever you want to think of it, Midoriya has plenty of reason to admire and love Bakugou, very realistic reasoning that feels faithful to his character imo

And it's important to keep in mind the fact that when they first met, before Bakugou had his quirk, Midoriya said that he wasn't good or bad, he was confident and driven and loved to forge new paths. And Midoriya, well, Midoriya would follow wherever Bakugou led.

What if Tomura Shigaraki becomes a vestige and annoys Deku for all eternity, the comic

So far, I have seen people try to say the reason Deku was screaming mere seconds after Bakugou was kidnapped was because he either: 

A) wore off the adrenaline and finally felt the pain from his broken arms B) was screaming because he failed as a hero, not because he lost Kacchan

Now. I don’t know that we watched the same episode. Because Deku was powering himself to move with arms that had been turned to mush because it was Kacchan; sure, he would have been upset if it had been any of his other classmates. Or anyone in general that he failed to save. But, he definitely would not have been this broken 

or screamed quite like this afterwards

or act quite this out of it when he first wakes up in the hospital

or regain the light in his eyes when Todoroki merely mentions Bakugou

This isn’t me coming at it with a specific ship lens, either. You could definitely take this episode in that way. But there is no denying at this point that Deku was broken because it was Kacchan he failed to save, Kacchan that got kidnapped by the League of Villains, Kacchan that sounded so, so scared when he said “don’t come, Deku.” Yeah, Deku would have been upset had he failed to save another member of the class. He would have cried. But would he have lost himself like he did when it was Kacchan? I don’t think so.
