Day 1: Love
“He loves me” Fujiko muttered as she plucked a petal from a flower “He loves me not.”
It was stupid, she knew, just an old game with absolutely no base to reality. He’d probably laugh if he saw her doing this. In fact, most people probably would.
“He loves me” yet she continued to do it anyway “He loves me not.”
There was no telling for sure, not with a guy like him; he was way too hard to read. Sure, he sometimes blushed when she got too near to look at a book or a plant with him, but since he was the shy type, he would’ve probably blushed no matter which woman it was.
“He loves me” she plucked out yet another petal “He loves me not.”
Maybe she should just down right ask what he thought of her? She would never consider being so blunt with a normal guy, but he was from Team Summer A; “normal” had nothing to do with him.
“He loves me” she muttered “He loves me not…”
The flower just ran out of petals.
“Oh…”
“Do you need another one?” Fujiko almost jumped in surprise as a hand appeared in her line of view, holding another flower. Looking behind her, the young sort of doctor saw their group’s other sort of doctor. She blushed.
“Well I- “she should just play it cool so that she wouldn’t make even more of a fool of herself. That in mind, she took the flower “Thanks.”
“Can I ask what were you doing?” Ban asks as he sits down next to her. Fujiko just stares, asking as she gestures to the flower: “If you don’t know, why did you give me this?”
“You looked like you weren’t happy with the first one, so I thought a new one could help” scratching his head, Ban confessed: “Not that I could know; I don’t even understand what you were doing.”
“It’s just a silly old game” Fujiko said, not wanting to go in to any details “The result doesn’t really matter.”
Anymore, at least. She didn’t need to take that one sign seriously when other signs told her the opposite.
“Did you want something?”
Ban smiled, proceeding to tell Fujiko about a new plant Ayu’s team had discovered, wondering its medical value.
It was times like these that Fujiko lived in the moment, simply content on listening the other person. She just hoped he’d speak so openly about some other things too instead of always holding back.
“Oh well, I’ll get him to that point someday.”

Bc of @polyham ‘s super cute art for bkdk x Given, I felt the urge to draw this panel.
(Redraw from the manga Given by Natsuki Kizu)
I feel like a lot of people don't really get how Midoriya could be so enamored with aggressive little Bakugou, as it probably clashes with their vision of him as a soft boy with no aggressive tendencies (which is...simplistic at best). But I think it makes a lot of sense, personally. As someone with social anxiety, to me, being kind first is not...easy, it's just safe. I react with kindness to everything because then nobody will be mean, or they'll stop being mean. Hopefully everyone will like me if I'm nice. I think people that are bold and don't care about what others think of them are the coolest, bravest people, and for little Midoriya, to see this kid proudly being himself, not letting anyone knock him down physically or metaphorically, well, it made Midoriya all 😳😳💓💓 "Kacchan sugoi;" you know the line. I can just see it, see the awe he had for Kacchan, feel how he felt. Platonic, romantic, whatever you want to think of it, Midoriya has plenty of reason to admire and love Bakugou, very realistic reasoning that feels faithful to his character imo
And it's important to keep in mind the fact that when they first met, before Bakugou had his quirk, Midoriya said that he wasn't good or bad, he was confident and driven and loved to forge new paths. And Midoriya, well, Midoriya would follow wherever Bakugou led.
Kaminari: Hey Midoriya. Tell us something about Bakugou when you two were kids.
Izuku: Um...oh, he was the reason why Push Pops were banned from our elementary class.
Kirishima: Haha what? Why?
Izuku: He kept sucking them into sharp weapons and threaten to stab kids with them.
Kaminari and Kirishima: O_O
Izuku: I was often one of those kids.
