The enamel pins were designed by Ren, portraying the characters: Stede Bonnet, Edward Teach, Izzy Hands, Lucius Spriggs, Black Pete, Jim Jimenez, Oluwande Boodhari, Buttons, Roach, Frenchie, Wee John and The Swede. The sets come linked by a chain that has a smaller enamel pin attached at its center, inspired by Blackbeard’s flag. Each chain comes with two lobster clasps, making it easy to rearrange the pairings in any order you prefer. If you get more chains, you can even link your OT3 or add on more characters!

The holographic stickers were designed by Nyatche, and you can pick the ship you want to sail with your collar pins!

I am all about giving Marcy cats and quality time with (old and new) friends and therapy to help her deal with things but its good to see her done being nice and instead looking for revenge once in a while.

NOT ONLY do i want more m/f friendships in media where there's nothing romantic between them, but i want m/f friendships where both characters are SINGLE so that there's no reason there to "justify" why those two can't date. i want the platonicness of their relationship to be something that stands on its own merit.

Kaleidoscope - Chappell Roan

When Izzy first walked out I was worried that he would be made into a joke that the crew would laugh at

but then he started singing and the dancing began and I realized that he wasn’t meant to be a joke at all. This is the most open and happy we’ve ever seen Izzy and the show treated it that way. Not mocking him but instead celebrating this moment.

When we talk about queer representation it’s usually just focused on queer relationships, but what I love about this episode is it shows other sides of being queer. That moment where Izzy saw Wee John doing his makeup and had a realization that he wanted that too? That is what being queer means to me. The crew singing along and cheering for him? That is what being apart of the queer community means to me.

What i love about this show is that it shows queer joy, not in a sanitized way, but in away that is messy, beautiful, and without any mockery or shame.

I finally watched su this summer and I honestly cant take people saying it is bad seriously bc imo its flaws are heavily overpowered by its advantages. And I can acknowledge the former -bc no show is perfect- but not when it is all that people see. It's pointless to discuss anything it in that case.

There is a great atmosphere in this show. It has awesome lore, likable and well-written characters and relationships, and it speaks about important topics in an incredible way.

Rebecca Sugar and the crew did an amazing job creating a story that is important to so many people and is an essential part of cartoon history. One might not like the show and they have a right to it, but that can't be denied.

I don't care if people enjoy Steven Universe.

I care that Steven Universe was subject to aggressively homophobic censorship, which is a genuine fucking social justice issue, and nobody cares because as long as something is "cringey" it's free-game to be homophobic toward, apparently.

There existed a children's television show that got cancelled over its inclusion of a lesbian wedding, and instead of being remembered as a victim of homophobic censorship, or as a historical milestone that allowed the production of other queer shows like She-Ra and The Owl House, it gets remembered as nothing but a bad discourse generating fandom.

And that really fucking chaps my ass as someone who studies queer media.

The first one reminds me of Blue Diamond from Steven Universe so much
