No because it was so important for Roy to be the one to go after Isaac because he’s the reason Isaac is captain. He handed Isaac the armband and told him to keep throwing chairs into tvs. He rewarded Isaac’s anger and aggression and now it came to a head he had to be the one to figure out what was going on and help Isaac through it. And the full circle of Roy making Isaac captain over his outburst, Ted needing Roy’s help in making Isaac a better captain and in turn showing Roy he could be a coach, and now Isaac’s latest outburst leading to Roy really coming into his own being a well rounded coach is beautiful.

Just wondering, did anyone else think that this is what the psychic meant when she said that Rebecca was going to be a mother?

Something about Rooster admiring so much his parents relationship and aspiring to have a love so beautiful as theirs, sweet and romantic and truly a fairy tale that would warm his heart forever

And ending up with the asshole who can't be nice to save his own live, that chews on a toothpick 24/7 and makes his life a living hell for the fun of it while looking so smug NARCISSUS HIMSELF would be jealous

The great thing about Gus is that he perfectly oscillates from playing the annoyed straight man to Shawn’s general insanity to yes-anding to an insane degree. For every moment where he says no Shawn, you did not hear that both ways there’s a moment where he, with no prompting, claims that his fictitious grandmother with a broken hip was teaching a line dancing class. For every time he says Shawn, stop messing around at work, there is a time where after Shawn says he’s been “looking at the man in the mirror”, Gus, in a move that never ever fails to make me laugh, with a completely straight face and no impact on the conversation, does the Michael Jackson “he-he”. He’s insane. He thinks he’s normal. He does 11 point turns. He’s a sympathetic crier.

One of my favorite things is that the top gun fandom unanimously agree that if Goose lived, having to deal with hangster aka icemav 2.0 might have killed him instead

The fact that Ted Lasso cut away from Colin coming out to the team, after we hear him saying he doesn’t want to be a “spokesperson”, is so powerful to me.  As much as I love queer representation in media, I feel like sometimes there is this hyper-focus on the coming out scenes, as the pinnacle of the queer experience that get thrust into the spotlight for the emotional payout from the audience. 

That may resonate for some people, as coming out is obviously a big thing and can feel like a spotlight moment.  But I feel like there are a lot of people out there whose greatest wish is for coming out to not be a thing. To not be a big moment.  To not have to be a spokesperson.

And I love that Ted Lasso gave Colin that.
