The answer is yes! Welcome to my absolute favorite boy and the crown jewel of Arcane: some bat dude.

Why do you like him so much, you ask? I have a few simple answers.

1. Mask Sexy.

literally, look at that mask. It's dope. It has cool teeth and everything.

2. Cool Vibes

Look at that. He has a skateboard that he flies on and a cool spear and also claws. How could you not love that?

3. Strong and vicious...but kind...

In his first appearances we see him take on some of Silco's crew with his spear, and also fight hand-to-hand with Vi using his claws. He's on the verge of stabbing her when Ekko stops him. However, after we're introduce to the Firelight's hideout we see another side of him. Namely, him with a small child/sibling.

LOOK AT THAT!! IT'S ALL TO PROTECT HIS FAMILY??? HOW TF COULD I NOT LOVE HIM?

I actually have a large amount of knowledge about League lore and characters, which allows me to make some assumptions about him and his species. In the League world of Runeterra, many different animalistic species exist, known as vastaya. These vastaya often live for much longer than humans do and are descended from ancient nature spirits. Vastayan birth rates are declining, although the birth of half Vastayans such as Sett (well known for being a sexy fox man) is more common.

Anyway, I don't know his name but he's hot and I love him.

big wing stretch: basically just opening her wings and stretching them back, messing around w tensing individual feathers

wing flaps: self explanatory, he'll flap his wings rly hard and sporadically. it's not meant for flying, but it can lift them off the ground a little sometimes. basically flappy hands except. wings

philza (andean condor)

wing clap: he'll basically open/close his wings really hard enough that they make a sound. it's not only a fun sound but the movement is just rly nice. but ooh boy the wind it creates can be a little. much <3

raptor hands but Wings: basically just a way he holds his wings sometimes. he'll hold them up with the wrist joint loose and it's a nice weight

ponk (kestrel)

feather fluff: she'll rustle her feathers up and shake out rly briskly !! it almost looks like he's shivering if u don't know what it is

wing shake: just how it sounds, they'll shake out their wings to the side out of sync. he'll usually wave his arms and hands alongside this too and jump, its more of a full body stim

quackity (mallard duck)

wing flick: just a very sharp movement where he snaps his wings open and shut quickly. it just has a nice weight to it and he tends to do it when he's rly understimulated

shivering shake: basically a full body shiver where he also shakes out his wings. kinda like ponk's, he'll shake his wings away from his body. but he tends to move his torso rather than full body doing this

ranboo (bat?)

fluttering: just basically very rapidly flapping his wings to a smaller extent. nowhere near flying but he just looks like he's shuddering almost

wing hugs: either to themself or to others, just tightly wrapping their wings around their torso / someone else. it's kind of a pressure stim, though his wings aren't that strong

Unpopular opinion (?) but hear me out,

I really dont want Aizawa getting back his leg-or his eye.

I know, I know, I love him too. But the thing is,

I’ve seen so many people out here talking about how Eri can fix Aizawa’s limbs. I’ve heard people talking about Eri fixing Hawks and Mirko too but I’m not gonna go there now.

You know how Character plots are resolved when the character finds their significant other? Especially in fanfics, man we dig that shit, thats good stuff. I used to wish the same for Aizawa and indulged in every ship of his because I just wanted the guy to find love and be loved and be happy.

But when Aizawa cut off his leg for Eri? I realised he didnt need any significant other. A happy ending for Aizawa doesnt have to be in finding romance.

Sense of duty alone towards someone isn’t enough to take such drastic decisions. Yes you’d need an immense mental fortitude but apart from that there’s also love. And to me, this moment is proof of that. Aizawa has found someone he can love and care for and this has gone beyond his duty of having to look after Eri, it’s beyond the fact that his erasure quirk is crucial in keeping her rewind in check. We’ve always known that Eraserhead would do anything for his kids, and having that shown time and time again, i think it validates that he’s found happiness in Eri, and not just her but in Shinsou and 1A too. He protects them not only because he’s their teacher, but because he loves them and they bring happiness and fulfilment in his life.

Having Eri restore his limb back takes away from this moment, completely defeats the purpose of having created tension there. Eri’s rewind should not be solution to everything unfortunate that has befallen a character. Moreover, this is different from Eri restoring Mirio’s quirk, that was a promise of sorts, this is a sacrifice, a proof of his love.

hanji wanted to live but in a world in peace and with no conflict. that is why them wanting to escape from their responsibilities was portrayed as something negative and the reason why they were so embarassed at their own words when called out. that is NOT what hanji wanted. taking hanji’s moment of weakness as the character’s “true desires” means you don’t like what the character originally stands for (wanting a bright future for everyone).  

the last scene of chapter 132 is still ambiguous. but if hanji “real desire” was to live hiding in a house in the forest, don’t you think that is what the character would have hallucinated instead? but no, they just wanted to see their old friends again.

for people who claim to understand the character so much, they truly miss the point what hanji believed. a person who never hated anyone regardless of their circumstances, still killed and stained their beliefs but managed to own their mistakes and take accountability. even if that meant losing their own life. everyone should learn from hanji.
