Feeling healed from the common cold, I've been asked from someone to whom I've done a reading before (for a different situation) to take another reading to help her in a college matter, I'm analyzing this reading below 👇🏻✨ (long analysis, 3 different spreads)
Yet again I made a big clean up on my room, broomed the floor, cleaned my desk, put away the fresh laundry and of course lighted my incense along with good music and cheers
This time I had my hopes a bit up due to the moon water I've made during the super blue moon, I couldn't wait for it to deepen my intuition, however through the reading, I think it made out for the week I spent away from tarot due to my illness. Anyway, it was of great help!
As I was alone and my requester wasn't asnwering my texts I went through her audio explaining her situation to get a grasp of her emergy while shuffling the cards, this was the cards I drew:
Spread 1
This spread is about the connection between two people, in this case my requester and the person she's been having conflict in college. To make it clear, I know my requester very well and could tell already how her cards (the two left) made a lot of sense.
She's a pacifier like the Temperance, trying to find a way to make everyone happy, trying to balance all parts even of they're very opposites. Her challenge was also clear, she is emotional like the Empress, putting everyone's desires above her own, even from people who wouldn't do the same for her.
The other person was the deal, I do not know them outside what my requester had explained and told me in other occasions (not much). The cards drawn (two right) also are very opposites but the spread structure helped me read them a lot better.
The Hermit is about solitude and self learning, however I've got a big feeling that what it really means is the person is hiding something, be it an insatisfaction towards requester or their college matter, or an emotion repressed. The Sun, on the other side, is about openness, shining, but as a challenge, it might represent too much light, meaning the person might be too exhibitionist, attention seeker and individualist.
Again, I do not know the person irl, so I left the task for my requester to analyze it deeper, at first she felt like the description was off.
Finally, the fifth card (above) is their uniting force between them, and I admit the Star was quite the challenge to read. It's one of the most positive cards among the Major Arcana but the situation overall is not positive, so I had to dig. I came to the conclusion both sides feel like their attitudes are correct, neither thinks of overcoming their challenges (one putting herself first and the other leaving their individualism behind). They might even be playing dumb towards said challenges, thinking it all will be solved on its own.
Spread 2
This is called Clarity spread, I felt necessary to get a grasp of my requester's situation (card 1) and it's factors (cards 2-4)
Her situation is VERY clear, she's got tangles all over, everything is a mess and only a (big) change can help untangle those knots
Her factors are just as clear, Justice brings the weight of decisions, she might know exactly how to act towards her situation, but a tough decision is less attractive than several light decisions that are not effective but easier to execute. The Devil alerts about old habits, or perhaps toxic relationships, which speaks directly to the Lovers, an overall positive card but in this reading might be taken literally, the people requester chose to keep by her side are contributing more towards her problem than to her solutions.
Spread 3
I admit, before this spread, I tried the connection spread several times because nothing seemed to make sense, the only spread that came close was the very first one (the first from this analysis that I decided to take a photo of) but I still had doubt. I tried several times and my back started to hurt.
Before going back to the picture and trying to read it properly I laid back on my chair and asked for one card to represent the issuing person, it was the Emperor, which represents both solid and bold structure that is great at building things but can also be stubborn, authoritarian and even oppressive. It made sense.
To that, I took the next card to represent requester, and funnily enough it was the Empress, it's perfect counter, being creative, nurturing and caring, sometimes exaggerated and too needy, doing everything for people who don't deserve it.
Finally, I asked for a card to represent their situation, and the next card is the tower. It's their current storm, it looks like everything is falling apart (maybe it is) and that their current pain will heal and become experience, I also took it as a message not to be too pessimist, specially to my requester after presenting her so many negative cards about her situation with person.
・✧・・✧・・✧・
In this specific reading I was indeed looking towards each card's negative face because the situation was an issue between them, it's not positive or else it wouldn't be an issue.
Bring cards' common meanings would be reading the same paragraphs over and over looking for an answer that's not there, specially for the Sun or the Star (if you own Wild Unknown Tarot, you know what I mean).
Requester found all the readings quite accurate, most of the issues presented were indeed things she'd noticed before, either in her own attitudes or others'. One thing she disagreed was the first spread's sun, indicating individualism or attention seeker, she couldn't recall memories of person acting that way.
Later today, requester had news about her college matter and we started a call for her to tell me more about it all and I asked more about person, in one story in particular requester said how person seemed to disregard her and other people's words during a class presentation, and there I could see that Sun card, someone trying to glow brighter than the others, eager for compliments and credit.
Again, I shouldn't be so shocked to learn how the cards are indeed correct, yet deep inside I hope requester will solve her issues even if my reading turns out to be faulty or wrong about person. Honestly, I don't really think it is.
Guess who's back??
The time for me to get the traditional Waite-Smith tarot and I LOVE it already, not to mention other two oracles I'm sure will be awesome to make weekly advice readings!
So, I'll be reopening free readings and hopefully be able to open paid more insightful readings, but all in due time.
I took some time off to dedicate to my work, I'm a freelancer digital artist to those who don't know, and now that things are finally working out I feel like it's time to fit tarot back into my life.
My ask box is open, feel free to seek for advice ✨
How do I let go my own restrictions I place upon myself? Thank you! N.V.W.
I think the answer revolves around the V - Hierophant, the time has come to seek knowledge about everything that surrounds you, about yourself to understand deeply the roots of said restrictions. Could it be morals? Or religion? I've once found myself caged by limiting believes, and deep diving into books and other people's experiences, different experiences, have helped me greatly to find inner freedom. The Hierophant talks about it all, looking for guidance, faith, morality.
The ones around it further deepens it's meaning, II of Swords shows how you might be turning a blind eye to some aspect of your life or yourself (and it's not the only card pointing that), you might have trouble accepting different points of view, but the path will keep blocked until you try.
VIII of Swords shows your surroundings, even if scary, are not as rough as it may appear, are not your biggest obstacle, your mind might be your toughest opponent, levelling up your internal crisis will be key.
V of Wands, along with Hierophant, advices you to seek teamwork, people can help you put those wands in order and clean the inner mess, being it friends or professionals, don't hesitate. You'll have to work hard, it's a long way but the fruits you harvest will be all the sweeter.
At least, IX of Cups is, what I assume, your goal. People don't question their restrains if not to let go of them and live a fuller life, and this card is about enjoying pleasure without guilt. It also means victory. You'll succeed in your journey.
I wish luck on your path, may the Gods light your way 💜✨
Recently i came across a beautiful game that had me questioning a few things. When learning tarot i always stuck heavily with books' and instructions' help, a considerable amount instead of pure intuition (but of course there were some, or else it wouldn't be tarot). Other than that, i also kept constantly in mind that tarot was purely therapeutical and guidance rather than fortune telling, as many wiser Witches taught me.
This game however, showed me a completely different vision on how to read the cards, with very simple yet effective spreads and much more confident interpretations. I also have strong reasons to believe this is Hekate's idea.
TL;DR: I wanna try fortune telling instead of therapeutic tarot
Edit: i figure out some of my doubts and uncertainties, see reblogs!
Confidence, i think it's the keyword. When i started this blog, even if i wanted to stick with the guidance tips tarot i was taught, many people came to me asking things about their future and not much insights about themselves, and that made me so nervous because, obviously, i didn't want to make a wild, ambicious prediction and it be wrong, to disappoint the requester, nor did i want to bring the bad news. So to avoid it, i was the first one to bland it out and make it not a big deal. The grain of salt.
It is wise from a point of view, one's future is theirs to make their own, but constantly telling myself "I can't go too far" might have limited my own intuition power.
Of course a game is but a game, it is scripted and has the limitless of fiction, however i do firmly believe there are talented, gifted people out there that can predict the future through divination magic with precision unmatched (oh, the stories i heard), but it's something wlse entirely, much harder to believe i could be one of those.
Even if i am unfortunately not very constant with my tarot craft, because it doesn't pay my bills and all that, i do feel a strong connection with my decks and the things i learn through the little sessions and readings every now and then, therefore trying out a new thing could be doable
When im not in tune during a session, my cards kinda "refuse to work" until we fix the vibes, the question, etc, and when everything is aligned it flows with incredible accuracy and meaning. I never "predicted the future" per see, however many, dare i say most, of my readings sooner than later came to be true, the ones i had been close to watch it unroll, so it might be possible to channel that energy into something similar, bolder.
The more i think about it, the stronger is my feeling to dive into this possibility, because i know if that's something my decks are not okay with, they will give me the proper queues, leaving my on read, so back to insightful readings it is.
Just like i do with my hair, a little bit of experimentation will not hurt anybody
My idea is to go deeply into bold fortune telling, let my intuition go wild, align it with my current knowledge (and future, because that's never too much) and allow myself some creativity freedom, read the cards with my third eye and present the consultant with very different outcomes one might never have considered an option.
About Hekate's insight, this month i admit to have failed my duties more than other months, it got me a little sad, because it's partly due to work and rest routine that I'm terrible at organizing. But during one of my hunting sessions for games to relax, I came to find that game by paths i usually don't trail (navigation wise) and played the demo that instantly made me purchase the whole thing.
I have reasons to believe Hekate lead me to it, silently with a few odd clicks, just the way She initially lead me to tarot years back, with a simple instagram ad (an opportunity to take the first step, after many days of me pondering about it). The game, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, has a beautifully written script, nice game mechanics, pretty art and designs and wild interpretations of Witchcraft, a great piece of fictional entertainment watered with valuable pieces of basic information Witches should know about.
This totally wakened my senses, as i said, sadly not constant with tarot, i felt intrigued with the mechanics and possibilies, and after lots of research on the matter, my conclusion is yes, fortune telling could be possible for me, if im brave enough the flourish it.
Like the game protagonist, I'm a bit scared of what may come out of this, seen like i had a very turbulent past that made me insanely afraid of what the future holds (cough cough ptsd cough subject for another day), this can be a healthy way of helping deal with it.
I shall make a briefer post later, but my idea is to reopen tarot requests, making it explicit that this is a beta testing fortune telling kind of deal.
Although i feel strongly Hekate is the one once again showing me the way, i feel like gathering some additional sources to aid this possible journey, and read more into Apollo's devotes and their experience with clairvoyance is on my list, maybe i might be blessed with His dodgeball gift of prophecy red ball in the face, so if any of Apollo's fortune tellers, messengers or followers have any tips regarding prophetic matters I'd love to hear about it!
Hopefully I'll be back soon with news, thank you so much if you read until here, have a blessed week ✨
What advice can the cards give to your week?
The universe has a message to you, breath in and out, let your heart float through the seashells and pick the one that calls for you the most.
Results are under the cut, no matter which card you choose, I hope you have a great week!✨
Week: Sep 04 - Sep 10
━━━━━━ ☆ ━━━━━━
Results!
Pink seashell: XII - The Hanged Man
The bat in its perch awaits for the night to fall, he's patient to wait until the best time before he goes to action. This week, along with the waning gibbous moon, is a great time to sit in stillness, maybe taking a different point of view, to take a look around, observe and learn what's the best time to take an action.
Cream seashell: XV - The Devil
Leaving fear and bad reputations aside, the goat is a spiritual symbol that can represent both fertility and abundance, however, both things imbalanced can become addictive. The Devil is here to remind you not to fall in destructive habits or break the old ones. The slowly shrinking moon allows you to finish cycles, let negativity around you fall behind while you're still glad for the good things that happened and still remains.
Chocolate seashell: V - The Hierophant
Crows are such an intelligent bird, besides being very sociable too, it invites you not only to seek for more sapience but also work on a team instead of working on your own. The Hierophant appears to tell you that knowledge is a powerful key and others can offer that to you, because a group is stronger than an individual alone. This week, be open to the idea of working with more people, don't be afraid to ask for help and have others teach you something new.

I hope these words can be of any help for you during this week, please consider sharing this post if you liked so more people can have a little word of advice! 💜
Posted in a community but wanted to ask my followers as well:
I feel like keeping a digital Grimoire would be easier for me than a traditional, physical one (which i own, but i rarely feel the desire/patience/comfort to write on it)
My computer is my safe nobody else has access to, plus i own a display tablet that makes it easy to handwrite, so would anyone out there have journal app recommendations?
What I'm looking for is a Windows app, stylus compatible, that has handwriting/doodling features and AI free if possible!
Atm I'm testing xournal++ but i find the user experience a little bad (a shame, bc it checks all my boxes above in terms of journalling)
If you have an app/know of something interesting please comment or reblog, I'd love to know!
May the Gods bless you day/night! ✨
When I was starting on witchcraft I read a book that said I should have a "witchy name"
I chose Latoya after coming across this name on a game called Reigns Her Majesty it's a possible name for the queens and I loved this name instantly but it's so rare to get it somehow I'm starting to think I hallucinated of it
Funny part is also my birth name is quite close to Latoya, it's Luana but I think Latoya is way fancier, I also think there's no thing like witchy name in witchcraft but I purposefully ignore that, Latoya is my witchy name idc
I'm so happy to see my blog hasn't been lost due to my absence and asks keep coming in! I think it's good to also let you know how to ask (specifically if you request readings from me)!
• First, if you're a minor please signalize so i can have an idea for how to interpret the cards (if there's no signal I'll consider you/people you ask about are over age)
• For a witch, I'm kinda skeptical on zodiac, I also haven't gotten to the astrological matters of tarot yet, so telling me your sign/moon/asc or not doesn't make any difference
• I also don't understand how emojis could help me know any better, if they're some kind of info I'd rather you write a short description on the matter instead
• Lots of requests are for love readings, it'd help a lot if you could tell me if your love interest is a crush, a friend, a stranger, a boyfriend, a fling, etc, so it gives me an idea of your intention and can make readings more accurate
• Do not put any personal/sensitive information into the asks, don't need to go into detail if you don't want to either, remember to tell only what you judge a stranger can know, your intention is enough
But you can also ignore everything above, the downside is you'll be trusting my intuition to know better and read the spread according to my own ideas.
If you'd like tarot readings focused on astrological signs unfortunately this is not the place yet, but I'm sure there are plenty of awesome tarot readers around tumblr you can ask!
Either way, you are more than welcome to give me feedback after you read your answers. I want to get better at this Art and I know I won't be right every single time, so if you can give me any light, even if it's small, I'd be incredibly grateful.
hii! i'm mimi she/her! could i pls have a tarot reading from u on who my first/ future girlfriend is? just like anything about her, when we may meet or how our relationship may be. i have never dated anyone before for context but i have had crushes and heartbreak and things never seem to really go my way romantically.. so i'm really just wanting smth to look forward to :3 tysm in advance 🫶
For what I can tell, the person coming will be a charm, VI The Lovers represent someone who will be very passionate, emotional and heart guided. She can bring a choice into your life, or you'll be a choice in hers. She'll demand great partnership and attention.
I had curiosity to ask what she might work with, II of Pentacles doesn't really clarify if she has a job, but if she does, she's very graceful doing it, she's a joyful person and might not have the greatest stability.
Page of Cups as the advice card offers peace after the turmoil, reconciliation. It's an invite in your relationship to choose the warm heart instead of the cold shoulder. It's an opportunity, and you can turn it down if you feel like it too.
And then there is X of Swords, it suggests the relationship may end abruptly, but you'll have learned, grown, after all. It may also mean the end of a destructive cycle.
I wish you lots of luck and wisdom in your journey 😉✨
hey, I saw your username and it got me wondering: where are you from? it's okay if you don't wanna answer!! <3
Hehe no worries, I'm Brazilian and loved the username in portuguese so I kept it here, ig it maybe sounds cool and edgy to foreigners while still fitting the theme 😊
