I think I’m just gonna go back to my “sports are mostly for assholes” teenage nerd attitude after literally thousands of sports fans just destroyed part of a major city because they liked how That Ball Get Kick Good. Not even gonna get into the fact that police broke out more violent tactics against completely peaceful protests (except I just did) or the president’s recent words tying sports into patriotism and even military loyalty (JESUS) or the billions of dollars that get sunk into Ball Get Kicked instead of science or medicine or people in need. The “industry” surrounding sports needs to die. Sports should be something kids and friends do to relax not a miniature intranational war.
someone: you only live once (: me: oh thank god
Earshot (S3 E18) "Every single person down there is ignoring your pain because they're too busy with their own." This will ALWAYS be relevant.
Someone get the new sneak peek clip on tumblr and/or gif it now because I am freaking out over agents “Stark and Martell” because honestly what the fuck John Bring. If Sam is Stark, as it would seem from the order of introduction it’s really perfect. There are so many Starks that have such a complicated relationship with honor and doing the wrong thing for the right reasons and then fucking everything up. This could be Sam this season, this could be him playing into the bad guys hands with his ideals - Same with Mary.
But Dean. Dean as a Martell. Who would be the most famous Martell? Oberyn. The extremely bisexual tragic hero. I just…fuck. John Bring gave us Dean being super fucking bisexual all over Gunnar Lawless and now he’s specifically fake naming him after a famously Bi character???
And that’s just the extradiagetic stuff. Think of this in world. Sam or Dean making those IDs and thinking: “You know who Dean is like…”
I’m dying guys. Dying.
I don't personally need them, but they are tools not toys.
So i saw a post a few days ago about neurotypicals who say that stim/fidget toys make you *less* focused and how fucked that is and it got me thinking of an analogy.
So you know when you try on a friend’s glasses and you can’t see shit???? Their glasses make your vision worse, right? But you realize that it’s because YOU DON’T NEED THEM. You might mention or make a joke about how blurry things are for you, but you still understand and appreciate that the glasses help your friend see, even though they aren’t good for you personally.
So when you try your friend’s tangle or fidget cube and claim, as a blanket statement, that it makes you *less* focused and that your friend should stop using it for that reason?? You’re being just as much of an asshole as if you tried on your friend’s glasses and said “wow, you know these ACTUALLY make your vision WORSE, right???” because you’re assuming that your experience is the same as theirs when it’s really, really not.
Season 4 #Glee. SJP's Isabelle went & ruined it by saying, "Every little girl... starts out wanting to be a ballerina." WHAT BS IS THAT? I didn't. My friends didn't either.

Just found out I'm (slightly) younger than John Green, so I figure it's ok for me to be here. Just don't expect me to act my age. Whatever that means.
