Zuko and Azula being gay and a lesbian respectively in a modern AU... ...and them dating Aang and Ty Lee respectively... ...and them hiding this from Ozai and Ursa... ...by acting like they're dating each other's partner while in their parents' presence. And then them having their 'girlfriend' and 'boyfriend' stay over for the night... ...which Ozai and Ursa allow on the condition that Aang and Ty Lee stay in Zuko and Azula's rooms respectively... ...which works out just fine for all parties involved... ...because they get to spend ACTUAL quality time with their ACTUAL partners doing ACTUAL 18+ activities... ...without their hyper-conservative parents ACTUALLY KNOWING ABOUT ANY OF IT. (As long as they're quiet and discreet about it anyway lmao) Of course this would also involve Zuko and Ty Lee and Azula and Aang having to act like they're dating each other... ...which I'm sure would be pure gold in and of itself lmao (This scenario would also work with Ozai being a single parent as in the canon proper.) (This would also work with Ozai and/or Ursa not necessarily being conservative... ...but with Zuko and Azula still being in the closet for whatever reason.)
