Sqq definitely has the most vile insults to man. He's been an avid internet hater, of course he is.

Though you have to understand that he is an internet hater in a xianxia world, with knowledge about a lot of people, information that he shouldn't know (but does because of reading pidw)

Like tbh I understand why sy was scared that lbh would still get revenge even after he was nice. All the other major plot lines had been happening. There were things he couldn't change, who was to say that lbh's revenge wasn't one of them

Also I don't think I'd be able to think straight if a god if some sorts played with my life, making me run around like a mouse in a maze to live. That actually terrifying. Then what happened when he failed a mission. Like, what. I'd be terrified. Sure, death was always a threat but actually experiencey arm getting ripped off??? I'd be scared out of my mind to fail missions.

Don't even get me started on the occ point reductions. Imagine being ever so slightly pushed to death because you smiled at a kid.

Sqq was either not fully registering what was going on or was not all mental alright to be as calm as he was. I'd have broken so quickly under that. Sqq deserves to be a bit insane

Edit: reread the system punishment bit and Shen Qingqiu also got his leg ripped off right before the system took him out

Shang Qinghua and Shen Qingqiu probably talk to each other really informally and share "private" information about their lives. They obviously do this because that's just modern culture... but it freaks everyone else out

My personal favorite hc of mine is that sqq has a hard time falling asleep without lbh (he stresses about his husband's well-being/Binghe’s anxiety has rubbed off on him). This leads him to sometimes fall asleep in odd places.

Imagine Binghe finishes up what ever work he had to do earlier than expected and decides to surprise Shen Qingqiu. He shows up at Qing Jing Peak, exciting to see his husband.

He can't find him. Why? Sqq fell asleep against a tree while on a walk. Now, of course, like any reasonable person, Binghe freaks out.

So, eventually Sqq come back to an overturned peak and his husband looking like this:

I think it would be really funny if (disciple au) Shen Yuan got banned from telling spooky stories whenever it's promoted (ex. A mission or really anything that has them camp outside)

My thought process is that he decides to tell just the plot of his favorite modern day horror movies/games because who doesn't, and plus they'll be original

Though what he doesn't think of is that ghost and demons are actually real in his current world so he's essentially just telling his fellow disciples what sounds like really messed up true crime

SY: Alright... actually since we're doing research on a vengeful ghost I got the perfect story!

Some time later

SY: and when they woke up, he was gone. Disappeared with out a trace... except a pile of stones outside their tent. They toppled it to look inside and there, in a shred of his clothes, were bloody teeth

Someone starts crying thinking that they're going to get snatched in the middle of the night.

Except instead of ody (or sqq in this case) saying "not in the way you want me to" it goes silent because sqq sacrificed himself (again)

Idk maybe there's no vip necromancy from the system and so sqq is dead dead. The last part is poor bingbing hating that that this keeps happening, that no matter what sqq always slips through his fingers, even when sqq wants him back

Then he also talks about how when sqq started being kind he felt like it was things finally turning around for him or something, idk

I need more Shen family fics

Not Shen twins, or SY being SJ's son, none of that (though I still love those au's). I need fics about Shen Yuan's family from his past life

I absolutely love fics that do that

Especially when they portray Shen Yuan and his siblings (and how they effected him, even as SQQ)

Did Shen Yuan learn to braid hair for his little sister? Did one of his older brothers teach him how to do a good poker face? Did they all hang out? How did they fight? How did they bond? What were core memories that they share? Did their parents have a favorite? Who was Shen Yuan closest to?

How did they each react to his death?

Do they miss him?
