For our gender to evolve we need some sort of constructive criticism. As long as we do it in a somewhat careful way. (…) So many of the worst things in the world have happened motivated by greed. And I just don’t think that’s an acceptable excuse anymore. How much money do you need? Really how much money do you need? How much money do any of these huge influencers who are worth millions or billions sometimes… why are they still promoting appetite-suppressant lollipops to young girls? And it’s not a fight against obesity. They have young, already slim girls, in their adverts for Flat Tummy company, this company that are absolutely everywhere, and they’re even being advertised in some of the most mainstream magazines, women’s magazines, and they have a billboard in Times Square. The money is built on the blood and tears of young women who believe in them, who follow them, who look up to them like the big sister they never had. It’s so upsetting and it feels like such a betrayal against women.”

The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update 02/Nov/2018

Had a busy time with work this week (it’ll be quite hectic on the work side of things from now until Christmas, unfortunately!), but still got some ways into Chapter 6.

Some of the scenes are taking a lot longer than expected.

For example, I had what was supposed to be a simple choice option scene with M that ended up needing three different variations in each choice response. The whole thing with variations ended up being just under 3,000 words, but the player will likely only see 70-150 words per playthrough of that scene. Worth it though if it helps give a smoother more personalised experience!

I’ve also made a tentative decision: My goal for the final demo and Patreon release is gonna be end of November.

It’ll be a push, and it may need updating again after that to include polishes and edits, but I really want to get something out before the end of this year!

So yeah, that’s my target :D

And a little sneak peek of something I coded in recently to Chapter 6 and shared on the forum:

This is a choice though. You can choose for the team to continue using ‘Detective’ for those that do, or you can suggest they just use your name. Not all of them will use it, ‘cause they like formality…wonder who that could possibly be? Lol!

The Wayhaven Chronicles—Book Two Demo Update

So, it looks like the first demo for The Wayhaven Chronicles: Book Two will be out tomorrow!

Oh my word, guys, I’m wavering between totally excited and utterly nervous, lol :D

But yeah, it should be up tomorrow, not entirely sure what time but I’ll post as soon as it’s up!

Also, I think I’ve finally figured out a bit more for Patreon, and the plan so far is to release it in unison with the final demo release (which will be after Chapter 6). I’ll do some more posts on it before then though, to explain tiers and monthly content, etc :)

The new Venom movie has a scene with intense flashing lights (the lab entry scene) and I received no warnings and had to leave (just for that scene) as I am epileptic!!! PLEASE share this since I’ve seen NO warnings being shared and this is very important and can prevent people from having seizures etc during the film.
