I find it interesting that antis will immediately assume you touch kids irl when they see you liking fucked up things in ships or fics like big age gap

I think it shows how they collectively see ships as something to project themselves into ONLY and therefore they gladly call anyone who sees ships' appeal differently big words like "pedo" & "groomer"

Just because their only ships understanding is "me and who" and no other understandings have crossed their minds yet

Just want to thank y'all for being so nice to me despite the fact that I'm a procomshipper

Idk I've seen a LOT of insane antis on other social medias like twitter, tiktok or telegram, and most of my friends are antis as well, so opening up about being a proshipper on Tumblr is like a breeze of fresh air to me

You are so kind and supportive, that's insane /pos I still haven't received any negativity, and I can't believe my eyes! I'd already had to deal with death threats and gore/csem images if I opened about being a procom on TikTok and Telegram, so thank you for being nice

Tumblr seems like a perfect place for proship ranting, and I'm happy to be a part of this community... You guys are the best

I can't stand the way antis and antiship-allied people purposely misuse such terms to make themselves sound smarter and "righter", their selfish will to outsmart proshippers with no proper knowledge always leads to an actually harmful misinfo. They use big and serious words wrong to cause strong emotions among those who see their content and to find allies this way, because if they didn't misinterpretate terms to their liking and to their advantage, very little to no people would actually believe in anti rhetoric. Antis misuse terms because their argumentation cannot exist without it, and all their beliefs are built on it from the very core

Antis will purposely call explicit underage fics "*fictional* CSAM/CSEM/CP" to make people believe those ficwriters and enjoyers are actual pedophiles and predators to justify their bullying and harassment

Antis will purposely call any problematic ship dynamic "illegal" to make people believe this stuff is morally wrong to the point you actually can get jailed for it, like for fraud or murder, to make their rhetoric sound morally superior

Antis will purposely call any open proshipper "a sick pedo" and send them rape, assault, doxx and death threats to suppress those who don't agree with their ideas or who condemn their behavior and to turn proshippers into outcasts with no right to speak about shipcourse

And this is NEVER okay

And remember: it's okay to dislike or hate certain ships and dynamics, it's okay to be uncomfortable with them, it's okay to not engage with such stuff and with people who like it, it's okay to block and filter your content and feed

It is never okay, however, to shame, bully, harass and threaten people who engage with stuff you personally don't like

If you are in any online spaces that discuss the morality of fiction or its censorship, please keep the following in mind:

CSAM refers to Child Sexual Abuse Material. This is a term that was created for use by US federal law enforcement. As such, it is important to remember that this is a term used specifically to describe illegal sexual content that is produced involving real children. the term CSAM was specifically constructed to highlight the trauma these victims experience because of this abuse, and therefore their humanity.

if you come across CSAM online, you should immediately report it to a tip line. Some websites that host their servers in the US are subject to US federal law even if the person who posted it does not currently reside in the US, so keep that in mind when reporting. again, this is involving CSAM - it is illegal sexual content involving real children.

CSEM refers to Child Sexual Exploitation Material. This is material that involves a real child in a sexualized situation, but either 1- the material itself is not illegal to possess, or 2- the material is not sexualized, but is included in a series or other content that does contain CSAM. Think along the lines or a parent with a few too many photos of their child in the bath. These images are not explicitly sexual, and are not illegal in and of themselves, but they can be used exploitatively.

If you come across CSEM online, it's still a good idea to send in a tip as well as alerting the website it was posted on. Even if the content itself isn't technically illegal, some websites do have strict rules regarding nudity and the sexualization of minors, which can help stop the spread of such materials and reduce the impact on the affected child.

CSAM and CSEM are words used to describe the assault, abuse, sexualization, and exploitation of real children. CSAM, specifically, is used as a way to identify and remove these materials.

CSAM and CSEM do not apply to fiction. They don't apply to any fictionalized or simulated child abuse or sexualized children. They only refer to real children.

Do not send in tips about fictionalized child abuse or sexualized children to tip lines meant to be used for CSAM.

Do not use the words CSAM and CSEM when discussing fictionalized child abuse or sexualized children. In a worst case scenario, it leads to people misusing tip lines due to a conflation of CSAM with fictionalized depictions.

In a more likely scenario, using CSAM to refer to fiction minimizes what CSAM was created to do - which was highlight the trauma experienced by survivors, and therefore draw attention to their humanity. By continuing to use these terms in situations that do not involve real people, it reduces that impact.

This needs to be spread, as a russian person I can confirm that all statements in this post are unfortunately true. I wish Russia was a better place for a living tbh

"What happen in Russia" part 2 holy sh-

I need to talk it out.

1. For the antis who believe that all countries should be equal under the USA: the age of consent is not 18 everywhere. In Russia (where I live), the age of consent is 16. At this age, it is allowed to have children (with the mutual consent of the couple and parents). Of course, few people understand that this is unsafe, but fuck we have a show on TV called "She's pregnant at 16" and I do not know what role it carries. But judging by the fact that girls who are pregnant at this age have become a kind of "norm" in Russia, it scares me as a medic.

2. Autism is considered a childhood disease in our country, you will not be diagnosed after 18, even if everything points to it.

3. Posters with conscription into the army in the likeness of "you are a man, this is your duty to the Motherland" hang in educational institutions.

4.Hospitals lack syringes, gloves and bandages. We save on everything we can. At the same time, "charity fees" to the army, and if you refuse, then the elders will treat you as if you had sold the country.

5.We have an HIV epidemic and few people talk about it, because society has an opinion that it is a disease of "gays and drug addicts." Well, maybe because it is much "more important" to find out where the USA and Ukraine fucked up?

6.Putin is supported mainly by the older generation. No one cares about the voices of the younger ones.

7. "About the important" lessons are held in schools. Yes, there is propaganda. Propaganda that "war is good", that "the main function of a woman is to give birth to children and to love (obey) to her husband," that "There is nothing good in Europe." Lessons are optional, but if you don't attend them, then parents will be called to the director. We call this approach "voluntary-compulsory"

How can so many people complain about missing pre 2020 fandoms while furiously hating on those who used to run them

Mha "cringe" cosplayers, omegaverse ficwriters and fans, ao3/wattpad chronic users, artists who made those "derp humor" templates, fanon artists/enjoyers, comshippers, fujoshis with everlasting love to teacher x student stuff, hetalia/ch/cb fans etc etc, fandoms would be NOTHING without them

How Can So Many People Complain About Missing Pre 2020 Fandoms While Furiously Hating On Those Who Used

Our culture is not a trend for those who shame and harass everyone
