Finally finished it! My 'High School Sweethearts' piece is done💕

I struggled a lot with this one, especially the outfit, so I had to look it up constantly. 😭But I'm quite proud of myself! The poses were obviously referenced from the music video (which is soo beautiful💘).

Now, a little bit why I did this. I did say in my previous post that the song fits Nova... And I really do mean it! The lyrics go pretty well with her story, especially after the asylum ("If you cheat you will die" referencing to her killing her boyfriend after finding him with another woman in bed). The outfit is something she would possibly wear, though not necessarily. I just feel like the whole thing fits very well.💕

Even the choreography Melanie does fits for the most part how Nova would dance. 🥰

Also yes, Nova does have freckles all over her body. 💝

A little funny backstory - CB3:Warped used to be my favourite of all three classics back when I still had a working PS1 (so very very long time ago, when I was still a baby carrot). It was the most fun for me and I was once super close to finishing it, but because of me not being able to afford a memory card I never did (just like with the other games😔). Whenever I would play and didn't want to lose my progress, I had to leave the PS1 on all night until I was able to play in the morning or even after school. 😅 Brings lots of memories back.💗

For the most part, the reason for Warped, out of all three, was Coco!💞 I loved playing as her because she was one of the only playable girl characters I had out of most of my games. She also kind of looked like me lol, jagged blonde ponytail and all. She's probably the reason why I always play as females in games. (And blonde chicks in ponytails... Seriously, Mercy main here😭)

But yeah, she used to be my absolute fave back in the days. And even though that title was now taken away by mi lindo bebe N. Gin (seriously, I have some sort of obsession), Coco will always have a place in my heart. 💘

I tried something slightly different today while doing the lineart, basically mostly coloured the inner lineart instead of the whole thing, so I hope it looks good!💌

Also, please stop lewding her. She's like, literally 11-12.

I appreciate your kindness, Alchemist. On my travels through the stars, I have met a few alchemists in my days, but I do not think I have met any magicians. Most alchemists I encountered either on different planets, or on moons.

You seem.. strange in so many ways. I never thought I’d see such a monstrosity as you. Out of everything I have seen, you have got to be one of the strangest creatures I have ever seen.. and I have seen Gasmoxians up close and other beings in space.

I always wanted to try and draw something funky and a bit psychedelic with Nova. Expect more of this from me in the future because I had soo much fun drawing it!

I wanted to move this subject before anything else, because I had doubts for a long time.

Nova is a complicated character. She is a chaotic villain, but she isn't fully evil. She had multiple terrible experiences, but she did kill and hurt people.

And most of all, she is not sexualised.

Yes, Nova's body IS hourglass-shaped and she has nice curves. She IS naturally a very attractive woman, but her looks is NOT ALL that there is to her. (The way she looks is mentioned constantly in her backstory. It's kind of one of the reasons she prefers 'ugly' people. Because she hates herself and the way she looks)

This is why I didn't want to draw any suggestive stuff with her. I fear that people will think that Nova's just that: tits and ass.

But she is not. She has such a complicated backstory that I've been revamping for weeks now and it's still not finished. Her old one is outdated and very, very messy, so I advice you to not look at it if you haven't before.

Nova is a sadomasochistic mentally unstable woman. Her PTSD, bipolar, depression and perfectionism get in the way constantly for her. She is a broken woman that just wants to be with her daughter and boyfriend, but her vengeful and chaotic nature doesn't let her just live a peaceful life.

So, a little bit of a warning for her blog: I am still figuring out how she acts and talks, but one thing you can be sure of is that I will try to show you how she functions and how her mental breakdowns might look like, so for you to see her unstable and constantly shifting between moods is a given.

I feel like Sewerslvt's music fits her very well.

And this is why I fear posting anything slightly nsfw-ish on the internet with her. I don't want to imply that she's fine and a perfectly functioning human being because she's not. (Doesn't mean she doesn't have a sex life. She is an adult, goddamnit. She is literally older than Cortex and possibly every other character in the franchise. Let the woman do what she wants to do) She is, I think, my most complicated and deep character I have. I know the franchise of CB isn't as serious as I'm making Nova's backstory to be, so I might get shit for it, but I genuinely refuse for her to be some sort of stereotypical sexy femme-fatale trope with absolutely no backstory.

If she were to actually be in the canon, her backstory would be barely mentioned. There would be indications or like, hints, but that'd be about it.

Oof, alright, enough talking. This is getting kinda cringy. I might delete this later. I just wanted to talk about Nova because I became so fond of her and treasure her a lot.

I prefer the past.. Een weech animals were just blasted into space.. Just to see eef they would make eet... You..? No. I do not like that...

You might as well get used to it. Some animals have made it and some have not. I still feel sorrow for Laika’s unfortunate fate... but as long as I am alive, you may as well get used to seeing me around.

You are a curious one, aren’t you? Of course I have the proper education. And know the ropes too. After all, I did graduate from Wumpa High Academy when I was sixteen. After that, I went into university, took a course on aeronautics and astronautics, did a lot of studying and training, and ever since four years ago; I went on my first mission to the International Space Station. In short, I studied and worked hard and became the first bandicoot astronaut.

Me seeing people like Nova and genuinely accept the ship while I was being so insecure about her constantly and doubting myself & my abilities 😭

Here's a little idea I came up with some time ago while roleplaying with my best friend: since Nova basically treats Tiny like a kid/pet, she sometimes gives him toys to play with or reads him bedtime stories. That day, she was pretty frustrated so she just handed him the first thing she had in her reach and gave it to him as she worked away... Little did she know, Tiny had a mental breakdown right after, not being able to figure out which shapes fit which holes, crying and slamming the toy around.

She had to come and help him later on because the boy wouldn't stop howling. 😭

Don't worry though, he's okay now. She gave him pats and belly rubs as an apology later. 💕

Once I saw Twinsanity's cut content, I fell in love with the idea of Tawna and Dingodile being in a relationship, alright? These two would be the cutest thing ever💗

Dingodile would be such a softie for his strong gf, trying to act tough to impress her but then cook for her in the morning💞

Tawna is a bit more chill, but she's not afraid to show him she loves him a lot. Still beats his ass in UNO whenever she gets the chance, but always gives him kisses to cheer him up. ☺

Since Chef N. Gin exists, I decided to match him up with a Baker Nova skin! Contrary to what some of you may think, both N. Gin and Nova have a big sweet tooth, so they probably bake lots of yummy pies, muffins, cookies - anything of the sort 💖💝💗🍭🍬🍰

As much as Nina still doesn't accept N. Gin as her dad, she loves his cooking and sometimes even gives him a hug whenever he gets her something sweet💕😊
