Dream Smp Roleswap AU, but Dream Team swaps with Bench Trio, and nobody else.
Ranboo swaps with Dream. Tubbo swaps with George. Tommy swaps with Sapnap.
Enderboo, called Enderwalker, swaps with XD, and XD is what Dream calls his version of Enderwalking, as he has access to his Admin powers in that form.
Tommy was the youngest prince of the Antarctic Empire, often feeling trapped in his royal life. Until the day infamous Pvper Ranboo snuck into a castle ball hoping to meet Techno.
The two didn’t get off to a great start, but soon found themselves sympathizing with each other, and became friends. Ranboo offered to help Tommy escape his royal life, and Tommy was quick to accept it.
While on the run, the two ended up meeting weapons smith Tubbo, who’s talent meant he had endless amounts of work to do. They decided to steal him away as well, and so the Bench Trio came to be.
They created the Bench Smp, which came to be filled with others soon enough-among them a creeper hybrid named Sam, who’d become like a father to Tubbo, and a demon hybrid named Bad, who took them all under his wing, and treated them as family.
The server was an amazing place, and everyone there was close. Then, came Dream, along with his best friend George. The two quickly befriended Bad’s son Sapnap, and the newly dubbed Dream Team became a force to be reckoned with.
But they weren’t the true tipping point.
No, the true tipping point was when Wilbur came along searching for his missing brother. Everything spiraled from there, following L’manberg, Pogtopia, the discs. Eventually, Ranboo was locked away, Tommy was trying to move on, and Tubbo was trapped in his dreams in a misguided attempt as kindness by Enderwalker.
No romantic relations for the minors, just platonic and familial. Ranboo and Tubbo still decided to get married for tax evasion, it was just in a different server. They also still have Michael. Tommy regards both Quackity and Karl as older brother figures to him, but is more focused on Karl recently, with his depleting memory, unintentionally leaving Quackity to feel left behind by his fiance and sibling-figure.
ruan mei is apathetic and doesn't care: broke
ruan mei is so deeply traumatized by the loss of her parents that she never wants to experience grief or loss again, her general aloofness is a direct result of this trauma, her literal entire character and personality is a direct result of those she loved deeply as a child: pretty much spelled out in her character story, how are people misinterpreting her this badly. this isn't even a woke take, it's literally just canon, I just don't think you all care enough to read a character's story before doing an analysis
The prompt was ‘detention.’
Here's a list of things I liked in s4 because I need more than one morbidly beautiful opening shot to give me a purpose in life:
Confirmation that Ben and Viktor were close as children
Proof that Ben's always had a mean streak in him, the brainwashing just made him seem like a saint
The concept of the time subway
Five's Deli
That scene with Diego spinning in the air with bullets swirling around him
Jennifer having a Filipina actress
Diego and Lila's daughter being named Grace
Klaus practically being Claire's other parent
Luther embracing the silly
Gene and Jean
i'm curious
you can check which movie it was here!
pls reblog and put in the tags which movie it was :)
AU where history gets super messed up due to an Inbetween traveler. Why? Dunno. Possibly because the Inbetween wants revenge, or is trying to lure Karl back, not sure yet.
Anyway, George’s history is one of the ones messed with, and XD, who even after all these years continues to think fondly of Gogy, is less than pleased with that.
So he recruits a bunch of people to fix it. Karl, who at this point has long outlived his friends and now lives fully in the Other Side, tending to things. Connor, an immortal who’s seen eras rise and fall and remembers them all. Ghostbur, who has a passion for writing down history and spying, with his ghostly abilities. And a young Ranbob, before they ever even discovered Dream, who is incredibly experienced in organizing libraries of information and getting stuff done.
So all these people have to work together and go and A, fix history to how it was before(Karl and Connor), B, properly record it(Ghostbur and Ranbob), and C, stop the Inbetween time traveler so that they can’t continue messing with it(All).
I’m not sure who the Inbetween traveler is yet. I want it to be somebody from the Smp, but I’m not sure who yet. Tommy? Niki? Ranboo?
Either way, the Inbetween will have completely wiped their memories of who they were, and basically anything else that would lead to them disobeying. All they know is doing as they are ordered.
The team eventually ends up recognizing them, and trying to save them from what the Inbetween has done. At some point they succeed, and get a new member, and the Inbetween starts throwing distorted monsters from it’s realm at them instead, determined to ruin what they’ve managed to do so far.
Throughout all of this, XD is grumbling, and basically just being mad about it while they do this. He does provide them with a small world and items though, so they can get it done.
I just officially watched the first three episodes of season four and I’m debating watching the rest after seeing spoilers. But my takeaways so far are:
After all they’ve been through, they still don’t really keep in touch? Weird but okay.
Sloane and Ray just gone like that, huh? Doesn’t make any sense but sure.
As a Luther fan, I am devastated that everyone so far has cool upgrades on powers except him, and not only that, they incorporated Pogo’s DNA being part of his power??? How does that work??? Also, like, how awful is that??? He was finally normal again and they go back to bringing that trauma back in his life??? I kinda wanted to see how his power would’ve evolved into new stuff like the others, but whatever.
As a Ben fan since season one, what is happening here. I know this Ben is not Umbrella Ben, but like, cryptocurrency scam artist Ben? No real character development Ben? The plot revolves around him but he’s hardly on screen Ben? Only good thing is that he was giving major Doc Ock vibes in episode three.
I like the potential whump fics that will come out of them getting their powers back. But even a fan of whump fics, I could’ve done without the excessive visceral vomiting.
Diego seems like he was written by someone who really didn’t get his character. I mean they all did seem OOC, but Diego especially to me??? Like that man didn’t give stay at home dad vibes last season with Stanley??? Lila being the stay at home parent? Really? No.
There’s a lot I would’ve changed so far, but I guess overall, the first three episodes were okay.
who am I to doubt her rly
