Assassin!Tubbo and Anarchist!Tommy AU
Basically, turning Tubbo’s presidency, things take a vastly different turn, when Purpled, already starting up his Assassin gig, and out gathering supplies, finds Tubbo collapsed from exhaustion in the woods.
Feeling sympathy for the other boy, and recalling that he’s one of the few he really has a bond with, Purpled takes him back to his base, and the two talk things out while Tubbo rests.
He admits he’s been struggling, and how he wishes he wasn’t president. How he never wanted to have this weight on his shoulders, and he wants Tommy back. He’s tired, he says.
Purpled listens, and offers a solution-to help him disappear. And Tubbo doesn’t want to be selfish, doesn’t want to be cruel, but the other points out that maybe he deserves to be. Maybe, for once, he deserves to put his wants above others-because all he’s ever done is…well. Not.
By the end of the week, L’manberg’s third president is gone with the wind, only a single message left in his wake.
Tubbo_ fell from a high place.
He doesn’t respawn in his bed in L’manberg. He doesn’t respawn at all.
By the end of the month, he is presumed dead.
(And oh, how they whisper, about just why that is)
Tommy’s wail of grief lingers in the ears of all who heard it at the funeral, but what they don’t hear is the growing hatred for the country that has taken everything from him. His brothers, his disc, his happiness, his Tubbo.
He was lucky enough to get one brother back, and he might one day get his disc, but he can never have Wilbur, or Tubbo again.
And L’manberg will burn for that.
Meanwhile, within a cavern that’s slowly turning into a home, the said to be dead president sheds his suit for something a little less likely to stain, and a little easier to kill in.
Featuring lots of Purpled & Tubbo friendship, as well as Sleepy Bois family bonding.

i think jinx is alive because otherwise it wouldn't make sense narratively. it would've been nasty, even.
this reminds me of the story arc of xiao in genshin impact. xiao is a character who doesn't see any worth in himself, he's a disposable weapon. he sacrificed his social life to his duty and would readily sacrifice himself, too. in one of the story quests he does exactly that, and gets saved by his father figure. and still to this day i see people who agree the developers should've let xiao died there because it would've shown the darker side of the game.
but why would that make sense? with both jinx or xiao, it would be such a bad tone to let the end of the openly suicidal character's arc be them succeeding in a suicide attempt, whether it's self sacrifice or not.
genshin devs made the statement of that quest that xiao is worth something and he needs to see it, and there always will be people ready to save and help him, and an attempt disguised as self sacrifice shouldn't be his first response. the same is applicable to jinx.
her ending overall makes sense. she had to be presumed dead so there aren't people chasing her trail, but she had to break the cycle by walking away. it's not the cycle of violence that many centrist stories about discrimination make, oh the two sides are just pointing fingers at each other and should just stop. because it's not what silco says. deaths following one another, people getting fed into the jaws of the system existed before, and this will continue. i think through the hallucination of silco jinx's mind arrives to the conclusion that the cycle of oppression is unbreakable for one person to try.
jinx isn't the one to stop it. jinx needs to walk away from all this pain. not because this is how oppression will stop, but because she just can't do anything else. wasteland sings how she wants to just rest. if death is like falling asleep, then she chooses death.
but writers choose to let her walk away in peace. because any other choice that isn't a happy ending would've shown that she was right all along when she tried to off herself. it's not a hopeful conclusion to her story, but in my opinion it makes sense.
im sorry if youve been asked this before but i couldnt find it -- what honorifics do the ndrv3 kids use? do any of them use first names?
Good question!

Guys I need your help to prove a point. A friend of mine is developing a high quality 2D heroic fantasy animated show, that everyone wants to see but no one to fund. The broadcasters and platforms are telling her that heroic fantasy is a niche genre that doesn’t sell as is 2D animation.
So….
Like if you enjoy 2D animation.
Like if you enjoy heroic fantasy .

plotholes in season 4 i really don't understand now i've digested the season please feel free to explain or add your own:
- sparrow academy and especially sloane just being forgotten, luther just seeming to magically get over his wife disappearing and not fighting in any way shape or form to find her or get back to a timeline with her in it - especially as they show discovery of the phoenix academy you think five would mention that a timeline with sloane must exist out there - ben being teased on the subway train at the end of season 3 but just??? never showing up??? was that an alternative timeline? - allison doing everything last season motivated by the idea of being able to get to claire and ray only for ray to apparently leave her with zero elaboration as to why or what happened - making fatphobic jokes towards diego but actually he takes his shirt off and is still ripped as fuck? - upon regaining their powers luther getting his ape body back which??? literally had nothing to do with his marigold related powers it was because of an accident on a previous timeline? - lila getting laser beam eye powers seemingly from nowhere, but it's not as if this was ever addressed because she could still mimic powers (see: her using five's time travel ability) - very limited use of powers, there were a few cool moments in episode 2 but ultimately it felt like there was no need to even get them back as they rarely showcased them (with the exception of five's getting them stuck) - klaus throwing his marigold onto a passing man but this never getting any exploration - never explaining why jennifer was in a giant squid - never explaining why jennifer got locked up in a safe - ben apparently never discussing with klaus how he died??? - ben and jennifer not realising that the entire motel had blown up around them including murdering flocks of birds and staff when they checked out? - entire five/lila plotline but also five figuring out how to leave and not saying anything when he has always been the first to want to get back and protect his family - lila apparently hating bracelets despite the fact that diego making lila a bracelet and it keeping them linked was such a big plotpoint it was used as a teaser in previous seasons (and the bead bracelet just disappearing) - lila being so intent on saving her family and the kids by sending them to the subway and on an alternative timeline but only one 'true' timeline can survive anyway which would erase the subway - the kids existing when the parents that created them don't - the entire show being for nothing in that the umbrellas do not even exist anymore
