Who gets that kind of proof of concept?
lance is tulio and miguels love child
He’s a warrior, a child of Hades, Ambassador of Pluto, the Ghost King, one of the most powerful demigods in the camps. He’s known war and darkness. He’s known withering away, surviving on pomegranate seeds. He’s seen Hell, literally. He grew up in a time where his feelings for another boy would be called disgusting. He only had his sister and then he lost her too. He has known Death.
On the other hand, he’s a 15 year old boy with a little sister and an annoying step-mother and a pet dog. He gets flustered around the handsome medic with golden hair and blue eyes. He plays in two-legged races and carries around a ticket dispenser so people can punch a long lost friend in the arm. He gets jealous when his boyfriend looks at someone else and reassures people that they are needed, right here and right now.
Because despite all he’s been through and all he’s done, Nico di Angelo is still just a teenager. A boy. A demigod.

sjp.columbia: Having to constantly post graphic images of mutilated and dead Palestinian bodies in order to prove Palestinian suffering has made us realize the extent to which this racist dehumanization persists — where even thousands of pictures of dead Palestinian children are not enough for the Western world to step up and condemn genocide. This photo of Sidra Hassouna has been haunting us since we saw it upon the Israeli bombardment of Rafah.
It is hard to adequately express the whiplash we face when people complain about protests inconveniencing them when, just an hour before a protest, we are staring at these images. We often wonder if everyone is seeing the same news as us. How is it possible to view an image like this and continue to stay silent?
Say her name. Palestinians are not collateral damage. Palestinians are not numbers. Palestinians are humans who deserve to live, dream, and laugh. Rest in peace, Sidra Hassouna.
La hawla wa la quata illa billah
alright whose idea was it that the blue lion was the “friendliest and most accepting” of the lions? if that a canon thing or a fanon thing? because when allura is getting ready to explain the qualities of the blue pilot lance interrupts her and we don’t get to hear it. so? where is it said that blue is accepting? what if she’s not? what if she is actually the choosiest of the lions? sure red didn’t take keith as her pilot till she deemed him worthy but are you really gonna tell me that the blue lion sat on earth for 10,000 years, while the galra swarmed the known universe, with millions upon billions of humans at her disposal to choose from and she SETTLED for lance??? no no no i don’t think so.
Starkid is one of the absolute best arguments for supprting independent art. The fact that the shows you're invested in can't get canceled by Big Daddy Streaming, the quality is always amazing, the love of the cast and crew doesn't get squeezed out by surprise budget reductions, the fact that since crowd funding provides almost all costs up front (plus the presence of voluntary digital ticket/in person tickets for additional funding), the fan base can access the full material for whatever cost they can contribute (even if you can give nothing monetarily, you will still get a professionally shot version of the material eventually, without surprise fees or password crackdowns, AND with captions/completely accesible regardless of location). The same goes for Tin Can Bros, Shipwrecked, and all the other associated theater and web series companies loosely connected to Starkid. Like, I cannot believe the amazing content provided to us at the same level as Broadway or streaming services with billion dollars at hand, with almost none of the catches that come with others. Like, I cannot believe that we get all of this right at our hands.
