Firefighter demonstrates how to put out a kitchen fire

i don’t know if they don’t teach internet safety in schools nowadays or if kids just don’t take it seriously, but if you are a kid or teen, please:
don’t give out your socials to random people. i was just in an among us room with a 14 year old giving out her instagram and asking others for theirs. DO NOT DO THIS.
if someone makes you even the TINIEST bit uncomfortable, block them! don’t feel bad about it. don’t worry that your reason for doing so isn’t “good enough”. just block them.
don’t post any sort of identifying information about yourself. anything beyond like, your first name and the state/country you live in, should be kept to yourself. this goes double for dms with people you don’t know irl.
if anyone asks for your “asl” block them and do not answer. these people are always creeps. i block them as an adult! (asl refers to “age sex location” and the vast majority of people asking this are looking for someone to hit on)
if anyone has any more tips, feel free to add on!
So, Voltron has EIGHT Seasons, at the very least.
8 seasons. seasons= 7 letters. 8 + 7 = 15. And we are meant to have 5 paladins. 15 + 5 = 20
If we follow the letters in the word ‘paladin’ and each letter corresponds to a number (A=1, B=2, etc.)
P=16, A=1, L=12, A=1, D=4, I=9, N=14
16+1+12+1+4+9+14=57
And if we add these to the previous number… 57+20= 77
Coran and Allura were in that pod for 10,000 years. If we divide 10,000 by 77, we get 129.87 aka 130.
If we subtract the 7 main characters, as well as Zarkon and Haggar- which makes 9 characters in total- from the 130 we have, we will get 121.
As you can guess, a phrase can be made from those numbers, if we follow the sequence accordingly.
K=11, L=12, A=1, N=14, C=3, E=5
I=9, S=19
C=3, A=1, N=14, O=15, N=14
11+12+1+14+3+5+9+19+3+1+14+15+14 = 121
One of my favourite things when reading fanfiction is when you click with an author's style so much that you adore the fanfiction you're reading, and once it's over you need more. So you go to their page and hope that there's more for any fandom you might know- only there isn't any. They've written for other fandoms you aren't familiar with and never would've thought about before.
But you're down so bad for their style and talent that they got you wading in like:
I’m not even remotely sorry for this content 3/?
(I know I did this one before but I will do it with every ship if I want to)
lemme tell you i am so fucking tired of angsty vampires. its enough.
give me a newly-turned twenty-something vampire who hears about their newfound immortality and is like “thank god,” then proceeds to invest in some promising startups and fucks off to take a nap for two decades
give me a vampire thats only the tiniest bit phased at the blood diet because “eh, i tried paleo a while back and it was just as weird”
give me a vampire with self image issues who never has to avoid mirrors again because - bingo - no reflection
give me a genderqueer vampire who finally has an answer when someone asks their gender. “are you a boy or a girl?” “i am a vampire.” “but whats in your pants?” “fangs.”
best of all, give me a vampire chick who is so stoked about being nocturnal because she’s never been able to walk alone after dark before and it’s nice to be able to walk her friends home and know theyre all safe with her
episode 8 looks awesome tbh
Starkid is one of the absolute best arguments for supprting independent art. The fact that the shows you're invested in can't get canceled by Big Daddy Streaming, the quality is always amazing, the love of the cast and crew doesn't get squeezed out by surprise budget reductions, the fact that since crowd funding provides almost all costs up front (plus the presence of voluntary digital ticket/in person tickets for additional funding), the fan base can access the full material for whatever cost they can contribute (even if you can give nothing monetarily, you will still get a professionally shot version of the material eventually, without surprise fees or password crackdowns, AND with captions/completely accesible regardless of location). The same goes for Tin Can Bros, Shipwrecked, and all the other associated theater and web series companies loosely connected to Starkid. Like, I cannot believe the amazing content provided to us at the same level as Broadway or streaming services with billion dollars at hand, with almost none of the catches that come with others. Like, I cannot believe that we get all of this right at our hands.
