Webby: Not really. To be honest, I’ve never really been that into fixional stories. I like nonfiction that sounds like fiction to amatures. 

Louie: Wait, so you’ve never read a novel?

Webby: Oh, I have. But like, old ones. Moby Dick, Christmas Carol, that sort of thing.

Louie: Ok, we need to fix this. Huey, get Harry Potter and Hobbit, Dewey get Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate!

Huey: *distantly* Which ones?

Meet Scotty McDuck

Scotty McDuck one out of five of my OCs and the third I have drawn/edited for

And was based on young Scrooge

Backstory:Scotty is Scrooge’s and Goldie’s son and was well an unexpected surprise. After they found out Goldie moved into McDuck Manor and he was hatched there.

He was born before the triplets but he was around when Della and Donald were adults and he loved Auntie Della.

Loved her so much that right after she disappeared on a rocket he tried to travel back in time to try to save her but instead of saving Della he ended up lost in time and Scrooge couldn’t find him afterwards.

Goldie came back from a traveling trip at that time and when she found out Scrooge lost Scotty she slapped him then moved away and never came back.

Scrooge suffered from losing both his niece and son and Scotty was only 10 years old. Then 10 years later when Scotty would’ve been 20, Donald and the triplets came in then boom you know the rest.

After the Shadow War and Della was no longer a mystery and everyone knew she blasted off on a rocket. Dewey accidentally found out Scrooge had a son (Webby had suspicions) and since he had enough of mysteries he demanded Scrooge to spit it out and that didn’t ended well.

Blah blah blah later they travel in time and find him.

So I’ve been driving all morning, and now it’s hubby’s turn to drive so I can type this out and post it.

@heythatsdeep a while ago posted about adult Huey marrying a superhero and I just thought about it again and had my own headcanons to share. @donaldtheduckdad here it is!

So Huey is a very logic driven character who likes being safe and having structure, he’d need someone who pushes him a bit outside his comfort zone but he could also compliment. The more I thought about it, one character seemed like a very fun option.

Gosalyn Mallard.

They meet in college. Huey’s been accepted to St. Canard University for pre-law, Gosalyn’s getting her associates degree, unsure what she wants to major in if she even decides to do more than that.

He sees her before she sees him, he’s never seen hair that red, shes staying in a female dorm in the quad across the street from his. He catches sight of her on move in day. But Uncle Donald is so emotional he focuses on that.

He sees her a few more times around campus, on his evening runs. She’s always coming out of the school hockey rink, gear over her shoulder and talking with other girls. She’s on the college hockey team. Huey thinks about changing his route, he thinks maybe its weird he passes the rink every time they’re ending practice.

His friends drag him to a hockey game. He sees her play, shes ruthless on the ice. She scores the winning point. Her hockey jersey says Mallard on it. He wonders if its weird he knows more about her than she does about him.

They finally meet in second semester, they share an english class, a prerequisite to anything else either of them want to take. Mid semester she catches him after class. She found out he aces all his tests and essays, and asks him for help. She’s on a scholarship with the Hockey team, and needs to keep her grades up to keep the scholarship and stay on the team.

“Huebert right?”

“Yeah… but I go by Huey.”

“Nice ta meet you, I’m Gosalyn, Gos is fine though.”

Her hair is redder up close, strawberry blonde highlights and copper undertones. She’s a bit taller than him, somewhere between his height and Uncle Gladstone’s. She’s all lean muscle. She asks him to help her study. She offers to buy pizza in return.

They start spending every monday and wednesday studying at his dorm. She teases him for being a senior “dorkchuck” but seems honestly impressed with how much he stuck to his guns and learned so much. He laughs at how much she loves b monster movies. They both love their families so much. Theyre surprised when they realize they both grew up with Launchpad in their lives and never knew.

He loves the way her eyes light when talking about sports or comics or videogames. They’re green, deep green, and remind him of a trip to the amazon when he was young. Green with flecks of gold, like sunlight through the trees.

He loves the way she calls him Red. He’s never heard her give a similar nickname to anyone else. He realizes too late he’s fallen in love with her.

She’s the one who asks him out. She’s incredible, independent, smart, funny, creative, athletic and incredibly beautiful. He can’t understand what she sees in a guy like him. She’s not overly romantic when she tells him. He’s dependable, one of the smartest guys she knows, he can keep up with her, isn’t threatened by her successes or strength, he makes her feel like the most important person in the world. She tells him she loves him first.

They spend the next 3 years of college dating. He can’t imagine being with anyone else. She meets his family, he meets hers. He proposes when they graduate. She doesn’t say yes right away. She says he doesn’t know her well enough. She tells him something he thinks is pretty obvious after she says it. She’s Quiverwing Quack, he can’t believe he didn’t figure it out. She’s going to take over Darkwing Duck from her dad one day.

“We’ll make it work.”

He can’t imagine being with anyone else.

I’m sorry I’m very inconsistent with posts. I’m trying to work on getting Lou and Webs back to the past, but meanwhile this popped into my head. I figured you guys deserve something, so here.

This picture was taken in August of 2040, about 8 years later than where our two characters are right now. Or, when they are.

It's Scrooge with his great-great nieces and nephews, which are characters I made. So, guess I'll explain them.

Name: Gabrielle “Gabby” Duck

Age: 12

Parents: Louie+Webby

Description: Younger twin by 5 minutes. Kinda lazy like her dad, but definitely has her mom's energy. Pretty impatient, more street smart than book smart, kinda tomboyish. Sometimes fakes sick to get out of school, and thinks it's amazing when her dad knows she's completely fine, but goes along with her act anyway. Definitely chief grave digger of the group, doesn't have much of a filter between her mind and her mouth.

Name: Fredrick “Freddy” Duck

Age: 5

Parents: Dewey+Jamie(OC in story I’m working on)

Description: He’s the star of the show. He’s very confident for his age and leads his cousins with bravery to rival Scrooge himself. Impulsive like his dad, but kind like his mom. He becomes very clingy when he's scared, though that doesn't happen often.

Name: Oliver “Ollie” Duck

Age: 7

Parents: Huey+Gosalyn(saw this ship in a post, fell in love with it instantly)

Description: Definetly the brains of the group. Just like his dad, he's an active junior woodchuck, carrying his own handbook with him at all times. Gets nervous fairly easily, but can always remember survival tips when they're needed. He's an asthmatic, and his dad always triple checks he has his inhaler before they go anywhere.

Name: Rosaline “Rosie” Duck

Age: 2

Parents: Huey+Gosalyn

Description: She’s obsessed with super heroes. Whenever they all go on an adventure, she'll usually want to ride on a grownup’s shoulders and pretend to fly (uncle Dewey seems to humor her most on that). She's sweet as sugar, but is also pretty tough for a toddler. Being the youngest of the cousins, she gets overly protected a lot, which annoys her, so she likes to try and show that she doesn't need protecting whenever she can. Kinda like her mom.

Name: Abbigail “Abby” Duck

Age: 12

Parents: Louie+Webby

Description: Older twin by 5 minutes. She's the responsible one of the group, being the oldest. She has a thirst for knowledge and adventure, defined booksmart. Like her mom, stays cool in bad situations, though she may also have her dad's sarcasm. She's a junior woodchuck like her oldest cousin, and always brings a backpack full of emergency supplies on even the simplest adventure. Can be paranoid, though her sister can usually break her out of her train of thought when she's going to far.

So, that's it. Wow that was a long post.
