Hey Louie, If You Could Have One Of Webby's Qualities, What Would It Be?

Ya! Or maybe Webby’s room used to be Della’s when she and Donald were kids visiting their uncle? It explains the planes and moons and stars hanging from the ceiling.

Idk, just a thought.

Quick Theory On Webby’s Room:

I think some of Webby’s belongings could have been hand-me-downs from Della’s childhood and/or items that were originally intended for HDL’s nursery.

Maybe Webby was subconsciously influenced by Della and that could be why she has piloting as one of her goals.

I’m sorry, I just almost cried at the last line. I love this AU so much!

For the Harry Potter AU: what do you think would be the scene in the last book where Harry and Ron argue and Ron runs away?

Well, that would still be the Horcrux turning Louie into a resentful and hate-filled little jerkface.

Dewey and Louie already have a tendency to fight. We’ve seen so in The Beagle Birthday Massacre, when they actually wrestle-brawl on two occasions. One when Louie tackled Dewey for his “Captain Lost” chanting. A second when Dewey found out Louie had eaten his banana.

So they fight for stupid reasons. Both times above Huey attempted to break them apart and be the peacemaker, albeit by his own semi-violent methods.

It gives us an idea of what sets them off on once-off fights. The kind brothers and siblings have that don’t change much, and that they forget about within the next 20 minutes. Or at least until they conveniently remember during their next fight.

But the kind of fight Harry and Ron had in The Deathly Hallows was, although fueled by the Horcrux,  far more emotionally based. And the words they say to each other still cut deeply. 

It isn’t a physical fight, though there is some pushing and shoving at first. If you’ll remember, Huey would erect a barrier between the two of them to stop the fight getting to that physical stage. But then words would be exchanged.

Louie’s grievances are very similar to Ron’s, minus the jealousy over Hermione.It’s the same problem he has in the canon universe:

Being in someone else’s shadow.

Resentment for Huey’s brilliance, and Dewey’s “special-ness”. The fact that he’s never the leader and always on the sidelines. The “third brother” to two gifted students whose names everyone admire and respect.

He snaps with the Horcrux around his neck. Throws it to his brothers feet and disappears into the night.

What is your favorite thing about each other

W: He’s cunning and adorable, and his face is super fluffy!

L: And Webby’s super good with her scary death traps and spy tools. She may be terrifying, but I know no one’s coming in to kill any of us in our sleep.

Louie what you do if some other guy asked out webby right in front of you?

Louie: Depends on the guy and if my brothers were there.

If it were a guy I’m friends with and is fairly nice, I’d probably be fine with it.

If it were a kid that was always getting detention, I’d probably just point out that fact to her before she said anything.

If it were a druggy or a guy already dating someone, I’d probably just drag her away.

Now, if it were anything other than the first one and my brothers were there, Huey would pretend to need her help with something to lead her away, I’d threaten the kid with blackmail, and Dewey’d probably shove them in a locker or something.

Yeah, we’re kinda protective of her. 

Dewey: *smirking* What if it was me or Huey?

Louie: … well, then you guys are just jerks.

Louie: Uh... how about... in the future?

I mean, the older me said at one point he remembered going to the future, so that means it’ll eventually happen either way.

Unless some sort of paradox occurs, but I doubt think it will.

This is late but uh, here you go. Are we doing this right?

Louie Week Day 1 (only heard of this at 12:30am on day 2, but this counts ok!)

1: Sharper than the Sharpies!

Louie’s always had a talent of reading situations and finding the best solutions to problems.

There were only two problems with that.

1: He didn’t think that was a skill.

Louie Duck is a boy who sees the world very differently from the average person. He can take a paper clip, a styrofoam cup and a pair of scissors and create an entire con from it (though the last time he did this he actually caused a mental breakdown from the poor shmuck he was tricking. I hear that poor man lives in the woods with his brethren the mighty squirrels of the great Oak now and is referred to as “Father Chestnut”. Don’t ask.) He can read when his brothers are going to start fighting, sometimes even before they can, and finds ways to distract them beforehand. Once he collected money from his entire class for a fake product, but when he was cornered outside by the chalk, he saw the rocks and colours and gave all the angry kids “design your own paper weights”.

The thing is, he doesn’t realize he’s doing this. He just thinks anybody could do what he does if they wanted to. He believes that other people don’t because they’re better people than him. And being referred to as the evil triplet probably just affirms that part for him. He thinks he’s a bad person, and that’s that.

There’s also issue #2: He’s often ignored.

He used to tell his brothers his ideas when they were little, but they often disregarded them, if they heard him at all.

He was the youngest, what would he know?

So Louie gave up trying to tell them how to solve their problems, and focused on his own.

That’s why he didn’t realize he had this amazing gift.

It was always ignored.

But our boy is definitely sharper than the sharpies. And now he KNOWS it.

He won’t be letting anyone forget it anytime soon either.
