"oh my god..." She whispers under her breath. She quietly grabs her radio system. "All MTF units, I need back up immediately." She speaks clearly but quietly, so as not to be heard by anyone around.
"Hello, you are a man of science, correct? " It's appears to be a breached D class.
"Well, more like a lady of science but yes...why, what's it to you..." She looks at him suspiciously.
"Well, it's kind of complicated. With me being born on a Friday the 13th, I've always had a natural talent with the supernatural, paranormal, and all things unexplainable. I was always able to communicate and form bonds with them. I had a growing interest in biology, and with my ability to connect with all this stuff, I turned to a job for cryptobiology. I found myself studying in universities across the country, and eventually after still struggling to get a good job in that area, the foundation had contacted me, and offered me a job in the Scientific Department. Of course, biology was originally just a guilty pleasure for me to get away from all the trauma I experienced, but that's a story for a different day," she looks down almost uncomfortable with what she just said, but quickly regains her composure and smiles at the doctor.
"Greetings and salutations, Doctor."
Hello, scp-049. How are you doing today?
"doctor, is there something bothering you? You can always tell me if there is." She reached a hand out almost to gently touch his shoulder, but quickly pulled back before she did. "My apologies. I tend to feel immense amounts of sympathy for the scp's. I really shouldn't, but I do. I can't help but feel if I'm lucky I'm can form bonds with them. It's not like I have many friends..." She had almost muttered the last part under her breath, as she looked down almost ashamed. She looked back up mere seconds later with an expression that practically begged for him to be understanding, and hopefully give her a chance at what could be considered friendship. "I've always understood how lonely the scp's must feel, being contained alone with no one but the doctor's and researchers to talk to."
"Greetings and salutations, Doctor."
Hello, scp-049. How are you doing today?
This is a post aimed at me and other people who constantly fall into guilt spirals over all the things they can’t do, and feel they should somehow magically be able to do anyway.
For me, and for the others, this is a gentle reminder:
- Posts asking for monetary donations are speaking to people who have money. Not your broke ass, still worrying how to buy food next month.
- Posts asking you to care about [extreme injustice of the day] are speaking to people who have energy to care. Not you, hanging onto your sanity by the fingernails.Â
And, most importantly: posts telling you that you are horrible/cheap/awful/rude/unworthy/unlikable if you don’t pay/reblog/signal boost/care? Those posts can fucking die in a fire.
TL;DR: Posts asking for shit you are not physically or mentally able to give?Â
THOSE POSTS ARE NOT FOR YOU.Â

Powerful, majestic, and dangerous. Why do you ask?
you punch nazis!

Do your habits betray you, little tiger?
A: I much more prefer "little lion", and B: only when the time is dire enough. Care to explain who you are?
Stop what you're doing, and take your goddamned medicine! I love you. Don't die. Be safe. Drink water. Eat good food. Do things for yourself, not for others. You deserve it.
It’s Monday did you take your medicine ?
