A/N : Apparently, this is turning into a weekly update. I’m terribly sorry, hope you enjoy.

He had his arm over your shoulder pulling you closer each time someone got too close to the two of you as you stood in the platform waiting for the train. His fingers curled tighter around your coat, like a reminder that he is there. It felt strange being in a place filled with so many people, or in public for that matter, so you clung to him like a lifeline.

“ Just stay close to me, everything will be fine ” He leaned down whispering it in your ear quietly. However, for some reason, it seemed like he was saying it to himself more than to you. Jungkook left a light peck on the side of your temple while straightening his back again. You could feel his nervousness, his muscles were tensing up then relaxing and like a circle tensing up again from the thoughts in his head. This trip was indeed something he was dreading, even preferring to never do.

“ Jungkook ?” He was torn away from the frown that had been playing around on his face ever since you left the warehouse. He looked down at you and forced a smile. “ Are you okay ?” You stuttered, his hand tightening on your shoulder again. Jungkook just nodded turning his gaze away from you as a train neared closer.

The doors opened and a string of people came rushing out, they all seemed to be walking towards you. Even though they weren’t but it felt like their faceless figures were targeting you. Your palms started sweating by the passing of each second and your knees became wobbly. Something clicked inside your brain, something made you feel terrified. His touch was no longer felt as you were yanked away from him by the crowd rushing to get in and out of the trains.

At that moment, you felt the world crash down on you stumbling to the ground. Your eyes darted around searching for that familiar figure in complete panic. It was a living nightmare, one that wouldn’t just end by opening your eyes. You didn’t know what happened to you but your body seized to function at all and an incredible anxiety froze the blood in your veins turning it into an icy flow, sending shivers all over your body. There were too many people there and you were alone.

“ Are you okay, miss ?” Someone knelt in front of you, you couldn’t make out his features with your cloudy vision but he was clearly studying yours, “ Let’s help you up” He said grabbing your forearm pulling you to your feet. You staggered a little bit, his hand still gripping you. Jungkook finally laid eyes on you, having been looking through the crowd, he was panicking as well having lost his focus on you for a moment and you disappeared. He hurried, pulling you away from the stranger and closer to him. His hands roamed your face and arms examining you nervously, to see if you’ve been hurt.

“ I told you to stay closer, didn’t I ?” Jungkook said almost angrily, his tone rising above how he would normally speak. You couldn’t get yourself to look away from him, your eyes hungrily taking in his image like you’ve never seen him before. Your tension always seemed to disappear when you see him, and you hated how you were getting used to it and to him being there.

“ You know her ?” The man interrupted the two of you, turning Jungkook’s attention back to him. Why is he still standing there ? Was the only thing going through his mind when he noticed the threatening stance he had been taking towards you. He looked to the side, your train was coming closer to the platform.

“ Yes, Thank you ” He turned to him once more, bowing his head, then pushing your shoulder slightly guiding you away before the other grabbed his arm stopping him. It felt wrong.

“ I think she was having a panic attack, are you sure she’s okay ? ” He leaned to the side, peeking at you behind jungkook, the glance of confirmation drawn on his face as he looked at you more intently this time. The man abruptly turned behind him, signaling to someone before stepping closer to the two of you. You pulled on Jungkook’s clothes, realizing what was happening. He leaned down as if to kiss you, brushing his lips lightly against the side of your ear, his other hand bringing your face to him.

“ The doors are open. When I let you go run there, okay ?” He whispered, pressing his lips to conceal it, and stepped further in front of you jerking his arm away from the other. Jungkook’s thumbs rubbed the skin of your cheeks, giving you one last glance before letting you go completely. You turned on your heels, keeping reaching the entrance your sole interest as he told you. As soon as Jungkook turned around, the hand that was once on you landed on the other’s jaw throwing him back to the ground from the impact. A few female screams echoed through the place and people had different reactions, some went away, practically running, from the two of them while some of the men were trying to split them apart. It wasn’t long before he found you again, grabbing your hand and instead pulling you behind him. Through the chaotic sounds coming from everywhere you could hear the faint scream of Find them ringing from their direction.  You barely made it before the door were closed back once more, pushing your way through the crowd, they announced the departure of the train to Busan.

“ How did they find us ?” You peeked outside the glass as the train started moving, spinning to look at a breathless and disoriented Jungkook. The phone rang, making you both jump.

“ Did you get their on time ?” Yoongi calmly speaking into the phone.

“ Hyung, they were here. They probably know where the train is going ” There was a silence on both ends, he looked down at you and smiled which you halfly returned.

“ I’m sure they won’t be able to reach you once you’re there, just be careful on the way ”

“ Alright, call me if anything happens there ” Jungkook hanged up, sliding his phone back into his pocket “ Let’s find our seats ” He still seemed out of it.

“ He doesn’t have time to talk to his own son himself ?” You didn’t know who he was talking to, unintentionally eavesdropping on his conversation as he thought you were asleep. “ I don’t care just have the car waiting for me at the station, I’m sure you can at least do that the right way ” You’ve never heard him speak in such poisonous tone, even when he was angry. He took a deep shaky sigh that made your heart tighten. You shifted in your seat, opening your eyes to look up at him, blinking.

“ You heard that ?” His tone softened again, the sweet sparkle in his eyes returning, which was a relief for you but not quite much.

“ What’s wrong ?” You sat up, tidying your hair, brushing it behind your ear and turned to face him.

“It’s nothing ” He breathed out, with another deep sigh, ending it with a faint smile.

“ Jungkook …”

“ It’s really okay, don’t worry about it ” He moved the strands you missed, leaning your head back on his shoulder “ Rest more, we still have an hour ahead. I’ll wake you when we get there ”. You took his hand in yours, intertwining your fingers with his and covering it with your other hand. This being the only comfort you can give him.

“ Whatever it is, you know you can tell me whenever you want ” You mumbled, not sure if it was high enough for him to hear, the way he hummed back, nodding, indicated that he did but he didn’t respond. Jungkook just kept turning his phone in his hand and spinning it again and again, in a repetitive nervous-ridden motion.

When you got out of the Busan station, the black car was waiting outside with bodyguard-like men standing next to it.
