finn is uncharacteristically obedient as you silently lead him to the couch, nudging him into his usual place by the armrest. he complies, and while he doesn't question nor react to your actions, you can see the curl of his mouth peeking from the golden brace on his jaw as he spreads his legs wide, putting an arm on the armrest--fiddling with his lighter absent-mindedly, and beckoning you to his lap with the other, swiftly wrapping his arm around your waist the moment you situate yourself on his lap. he heaves a deep sigh like a huge weight has been lifted off his shoulders when your fingertips graze the tattoos on his forehead, tracing the patterns and following the lines.

''something the matter, sweetheart?'' he asks just as you're swiping your thumb over the lines under his eye, voice low as if he's afraid the tender atmosphere will shatter if he speaks any louder, slit pupils following your every move as you slide your hand up to trace the snake tattoo on the side of his head, pursing your lips and shaking your head no. you can feel his silent contemplation on whether to push the matter, the clicking of his lighter getting faster like the cogs turning in his head before he snaps it shut.

you smile in appreciation. he always reads you so well.

finn hisses when you splay a hand across his broad chest, your icy fingers sending a chill down his spine, his grip on his lighter tightening as you trace the tattoo on his chest with one hand while the other travels down to his neck. finn looks at you through half-lidded eyes when he hears you huff in displeasure, only to find you glaring holes into the collar of his poor jacket for denying you full access. his lips curling up, finn rolls his shoulders, effectively shrugging his prized possession off, craning his head to the side for good measure, mirth dancing in his cyan eyes as he takes in your reaction, all too pleased to hear your breath catch in your throat.

what a sight to see, the notorious chembaron offering his neck to you like that. the urge to sink your teeth into him is too great, it doesn't take you much to cave in and do exactly that. his chest rumbles with laughter as if he'd expected it to happen, his hand traveling up from your waist and finding homage in your hair, pressing you even closer to him as you soothe the bitemark with a swipe of your tongue, craning your head up to mark an all too familiar spot under his ear--the blank patch of skin right above the hyena's head, successfully drawing a low moan from him.

finn tucks his lighter between the couch cushions, his hand coming to rest on your thigh, giving it a firm squeeze as a warning. he waits for a moment longer, only taking action when he figures you have no intentions of stopping. hooking a leg under yours and shifting his weight, he easily flips the position, climbing on top, making sure to trap you beneath him.

''aww,'' he coos at your flustered face, hooking a finger under your chin to guide your gaze back to his, ''if you wanted to fool around, all you had to do was ask.''

Headcanon about Dwemer women. My take: Young women preferred to wear light clothes and didn't get a lot of piercings. The older ones wore more clothes, more status jewelry, and grew beards. The length of the beard determined the social status of a woman and her position in society. Braids were woven from beards and decorated. It was also a sign of maturity and wisdom.
