Che'nya always had fun around you. you always had fun around him. you make a great duo! it starts off as friends getting up to some shenanigans together and having some fun! that is, until he felt his heart start to beat faster around you. huh. and you felt your cheeks getting warmer around him. huh. how weird. and he thinks it would be really nice to kiss you. and you think it would be really nice to hold him. oh. oh! alright, so it's like that.

"Che'nya, there's something I have to tell you."

"oh? what is it?"

"I think I might be in love with you." you just stare at each other. your hands are clammy and your heart is about to give you a cardiac arrest with how fast it's beating.

"you think so?"

"well, I'm pretty sure."

his grin widens, ears perking up "in this case, I think I might be in love with you too."

you can't stop your smile "you think so?"

"hmm, I'm pretty sure, yes."

get! matching! accessories! earrings, necklace, rings, anything! Che'nya would love it if you share the same appreciation for odd jewelry as he does! this ring might be a bit too big, but look at how colorful it is! this necklace has way too many chains, but isn't the kitty pendant cute? this clock earring is quite nice! what do you mean the clock is broken? that's the charm!

 he WILL call you the strangest pet names. this man has no shame whatsoever. he can say the most out of pocket things without flinching or feeling any embarrassment, that applies to his nicknames for you as well. there is no escape, just accept it. the sooner you do the least embarrassed you will be once he calls you "drowsy dormousey" in front of your friends (shut up Ace shut up shut up he's cute so he can do that ok. no, you can't, you only sound goofy when you do). call him your little meow meow, he will be delighted.

he's surprisingly good at giving advice when you need it! just get through his enigmatic wording first and you'll find it very helpful! he's great with giving directions and showing the right path! Che'nya is very smart, after all, he just expresses himself in a rather odd way. he's someone you can count on!

for your dates, if you're not spending the day in each other's schools causing chaos and havoc (and a migraine for Riddle) or chilling in your room with cuddles and cat naps, then you're out in the city! you still don't know much about the Isle of Sages, since you scarcely leave NRC, or about the little town there. worry not, Che'nya has explored it throughly and will show you exciting new places! his favorite cafe, that one famous pâtisserie, a nice clothes shop or the beach! whenever there is a new event on the island, be it a music show or a cultural fair, Che'nya will want to go with you. you can't lose an opportunity to have fun together!

when it comes to grades, he's one of the best on his class. that's great, you two should study together! that's what you think, right? well, no, you shouldn't. if you think studying with Ace, Deuce and Grim is chaotic, that's because you didn't try to have a study session with Che'nya. oh, you're confused about this alchemy question? how about he tries to explain in a metaphor that will confuse you even more! you want to ask him questions with flashcards? he will overcomplicate the questions and then turn them on you. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ask his help in animal linguistics. he will only talk in cat puns. and most likely meow at you. for a good while. so don't, just don't.

on the rare occasion Che'nya is annoyed or irritated with something, you can tell right away, he doesn't bother trying to hide it. his ears fall flatly against his head, his tail is down and swishing agitatedly and even if he still has the smile on his face you can tell it doesn't reach his eyes. he gets less energetic and doesn't move around so much, sometimes even being stiff. in this case, the best thing to do is to recharge with lots of cuddles and head scratches. eventually he might open up to what's on his mind! be it in riddles or in a straightforward way, just having someone to hear it without judgment already makes him feel better.

he loves hand-made gifts, both giving and recieving! it's easier to put your thoughts and emotions on them and they become more personal. whatever it is that you make him, he will cherish it! you cooked him lunch? he's going to praise all the flavors and savour every bite like it's the last meal he'll eat (he might do an impression of a renomed chef judging your cooking with the most exagerated expressions though)! you drew something for him? it's going on his bedroom wall right now, he will show it to whoever goes there, he might even make a little patch of it (it explains why he's got a shirt with a mix of different flowers patches alongside a sketch of Grim sleeping on Trein's class. he loves wearing it when he visits. Grim hates it and has tried on multiple occasions to get rid of it, with no success so far)! you grew a little plant for him? that's his son now, that plant is going to live the best life, he will song a lullaby to it before going to sleep (luckly he doesn't share his room with anyone, or else there would be way too many complaints about a cat serenading late at night. he says the plant is his dormmate and it loves his songs, thank you very much)!

he drags you to RSA at the very least once. it's actually a lot of fun! everyone is really nice, the castle is beautiful and makes you feel like royalty just by being there, Che'nya's room is super comfortable to spend time in, and, most important of all, the both of you can and will prank people without you having to worry about the payback! and their reactions are really funny too! it's great! that is, until Riddle blows up your phone furiously demanding you to come back this instant. Cater is losing it on the background about how you've got more Magicam followers than he does in less than an hour. Che'nya shows you a picture he took of you and Neige LeBlanche together. it's on Neige's Magicam page. congrats, you're a Magicam subcelebrity now! I hope it was worth the punishment Riddle will give you for breaking the rules!

[ABOUT: The clothes war saga]

Che'nya sews his own clothes! of course, not all of them, but most have at least some modification he did to fit his alternative style more. sometimes he stays up late to sew, since, according to him, the best ideas come at the oddest of times. maybe that explains why they look like that, but you can't help but be fond of them, especially after seeing how much effort he puts into it and how proud he is!

so you steal his clothes. they are comfy and big on you and so so soft and smell like him and are very comfy. did I mention how soft they are? they don't match with any other clothes you have, but you wear them anyway. that one hoodie with the playing card suits patches he made thinking of his friends in Heartslabyul? it's yours now. you wear it on every unbirthday party you crash into are invited to. Riddle says it looks familiar, you just smile and try to look clueless, Trey covers his laugh on the background. Che'nya tells you if you like his clothes so much he can sew some for you as well, just paw-lease give back his favorite striped shirt. you say you'll think about it. (you don't ♡). then, your mushroom shirt mysteriously disappears. Che'nya looks a lot like the cat that got the cream.

"what are you smiling smugly about?"

"there's always something to smile about, don't you think so?"

you squint your eyes at him. his smile widens mischievously. "you've got my shirt don't you." it's not a question.

"I have no idea what you're talking about~" oh he so does. 

that's how the clothes war started. honestly, at this point you're not even sure which ones were his and which were yours.

("you do, mine are so different!"

"hmm, nope, no idea.")

well, more clothes for you!! you use his purple doc martens once with the most mismatched socks in history. Riddle looks at you like you've commited some crime (you did, against fashion itself. maybe there is a rule against this? surely?). Che'nya threatens to tell Trey to put a sweets ban on you. you give his boots back. (the socks stay with you though.)

you'll always find yourself smiling by his side, he's up to some shenanigan of some sort all the time or has a funny story to tell. look, you'll have to endure the constant cat puns and sometimes even dad jokes here and there, but he makes you laugh so much you could be called a cheshire cat yourself.

"there you go."

"I'll love you fur-ever!" you hold your smile, but he can tell you're amused anyway

"that was claw-ful." he smiles wide, so wide you actually wonder just how wide can his mouth open. "I can't believe I just said this, look what you're doing to me."

there's never a lack of entertainment around! if you start to get bored, don't worry, he knows just the thing <3

look, if you don't really like physical affection, he'll respect that as best as he can, but he can get a bit needy.

"alright, sure." his ears perk up, it's pretty cute even. you let him wait a few seconds more before looking both ways and then to him again "where's this poor kitty anyway?"

he WILL whine about it how COULD YOU do this to him WHY are you so mean to your boyfriend. just give him the headpats after you've got your laugh and he'll stop complaining.

now, if you are affectionate like him, then expect him to take full advantage of that. hugs everytime you see each other, holding hands if you're walking together, drapping his arm across your shoulders, playing footsie under the table, throwing himself on your lap and demaning for head scratches, wraping his tail around your wrist, propping his chin on your head, nicking on your neck playfully, kissing your cheeks, cuddles and snuggles, holding your waist and nuzzling his head on your shoulder. if you scratch under his chin or behind his ears or brush his tail he will purr SO loud and have the sappiest smile, no shame at all. give him a little kiss for good measure.

he can be cute when he wants to! asking Trey to bake your favorite sweets, giving you flowers that reminded him of you, singing silly tunes, sewing some patch that represents you or leaving little notes around your room (that are mostly confusing, but endearing nonetheless). although if he's in the mood to tease you (which is most of the time. like, at least 86% of it), good luck. hope you don't get flustered or scared easily, because he will use his Unique Magic to mess with you. (lovingly, of course! he never means to actually upset you!) 

feeling lonely? BAM there's a floating head to keep you company! hey why are you screaming? no worries, it's just your menace of a boyfriend <3

he'll tickle you and give you little kisses all over while invisible. try to guess where he is~ if you get it right, he might even have a prize for you!

"I'll pull on your tail if you keep it up."

"you'll have to find it first, though." he laughs. you flawlessly catch his tail. he was rubbing it softly against your side, after all, and you know him well enough by now to have a good idea of where it would be.

"well, where's my prize?" he appears fully before you and gives you a kiss on the nose, disappearing again. "ah? where's my hundred thaumarks?" you pull lightly on his tail, relishing on the whiny protest sound he lets out.

"I'm just kitting" he appears before you again, a pout on his lips.

you just stare at him, unimpressed. "well?"

"here is the true prize!" he presses a light kiss against your lips, ready to pull away again before your hands cup his cheeks and keep him in place, foreheads touching.

"hm, I'll have to enjoy it to the fullest, yes? that's only fair."

"how purr-suasive. I'll indulge you then." your lips meet again, and again, and again. seems like the prize was worth it after all~

[ABOUT: Cat fight]

whenever Che'nya visits NRC, Grim will be FIGHTING for your attention (not literally, at least not after he put one of the walls of ramshackle on fire and you didn't buy him any tuna for a whole week. he's learnt his lesson this time).

"you gotta choose who is your favorite, henchman! Me, the greatest mage Grim, or that annoying cat!"

"Grim, you know I love both of you a lot, yes?"

"but you love me more, right?"

you just sigh and shake your head, no point in trying to argue with him. Che'nya laughs from where his head is smushed against your stomach, finding the situation rather amusing as Grim tries to brag about his 'victory' and you play with his hair.

this one-sided animosity begun when you and Che'nya started dating and he went to spend a day at your dorm. he just happened to pick Grim's favorite spot on the sofa and, on top of that, you didn't give Grim any attention or defend his spot! and it doesn't end there! you even let your boyfriend eat some of Grim's premium tuna! (Grim also ate it, since you made everyone tuna sandwiches, but this isn't the point.) and he had to endure his terrible awful horrible no good very bad cat puns!

on Che'nya's end, he finds the whole thing rather entertaining. sometimes he swishes his tail in front of Grim to watch your dormmate try to catch it, a concentrated look on his face. it's cute, so you let them be.

[ABOUT: If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends]

if you don't get along with his best friends- yes you do. you won't have a choice, you'll have to at least tolerate them with how often you'll be meeting each other. plus, Trey and Riddle mean a lot for Che'nya, so it makes him really happy to see his favorite people in the world getting along! Trey is glad Che'nya found someone that makes him so giddy and that doesn't mind his oddity.

("he always sends me a text whenever you do something he finds cute. he texts me everyday now."

"he better not be sending any photos."

"oh, don't worry, if anything you'll like it."

Trey procceds to show you the many silly selfies Che'nya sends him. Che'nya arrives in the middle of it but only shows himself when you are going to ask Trey to send them to you. "if you like my face so meow-ch, you should just tell me~")

Riddle is more low-key about it, but he always smiles at you when you crash his unbirthday parties and lets you and Grim stay until the end, so that means you're in his good books for bringing so much happiness to his friend.

("aw man, why does Riddle only lets you get away from taking extra slices of tart?"

"well, Ace, maybe he just didn't see it."

"he definetly did, he even nodded on your direction before turning his head to pretend he didn't."

"oh Deuce, you must have imagined it."

"who cares, what matters is that I get more tart to eat later!"

"so true Grim, so true.")

him and Cater are friends as well, since they met each other on their first year through their mutual friend, Trey. Cater takes photos of his looks because they are 'super magicamable' and slides his plate with sweets under the table for Che'nya to eat on unbirthday parties. (Trey spent a long time thinking Cater loved blueberry muffins since he always took a lot of these, and baked extras for him. Che'nya was not complaining). Cater always seems to know what's happening everywhere, even on RSA, before anyone else. how does he do that? of course, him and Che'nya like to trade gossip about their respective schools (you are added to their group chat eventually. you know the names of students you've never even seen before and most likely never will). if Cater posts a picture with the two of you, you're either:

a) going to flirt on the comments between you two.

"hmm, I don't know, I was more interested in looking at the beauty by his side!"

"stop flirting on my posts you two please")

b) going to flirt WITH cater. yes both of you. yes some people might have thought there was some cheating scandal between the three of you. Cater loved it since his picture got more traction this way, Che'nya loved it because the theories were really funny and you loved it because the things these two sent on your gossip group chat were wild.

when it comes to your friends, Che'nya likes to tease and prank them a lot, but he is pretty chill overall. Deuce always get scared of his disappearing act and Ace laughs at him, right before jumping in surprise once Che'nya appears behind him, only your boyfriend's cheeky grin to show where he is. he likes watching Ace doing magic tricks with cards and Deuce calling him to a race. if there's one thing these three are absolutely chaotic at is palying games together, be it board games, card games or video games. Che'nya tries to make up rules on spot, Ace argues with him when it's bad for him but agrees if it's advantageous, Deuce is confused and getting low key gaslighted on basic rules. by the end of the game, your stomach is hurting from how much you laughed trying to play with them.

("wait, Deuce, since you played a four, you need to clap your hands three times or else you'll have to fish a card."

"but the last four Ace played you said he had an extra turn and could play again!"

"well, that's because it was a red four, and yours is yellow, so it's different."

"I don't remember these being Uno rules. what do you think, Ace?"

"he's right, now you better buy that card because it's my turn!")

in conclusion: he'll tease you a lot, he can be quite confusing, his fashion sense is rather odd, he's got some terrible jokes, he acts like a clingy cat most of the time and you are not safe from his pranks, even if you're dating him. but still, he finds you to be the cutest person in the world, no matter what you're doing, he can't never get bored around you! he's giving you plenty of affection every day, bringing you little gifts, messaging you things that he thought you'd like, showing you his favorite people and things and places! your smile is the prettiest thing he's ever seen, and he'll make sure to keep seeing it every day by making you happy.

To the Rescue

From the beginning, when you told Trey that a Diasomnia student asked you out earlier that day, he had a strange feeling. Trey never considered himself a very jealous guy and even if he was, he had no way of stopping you. He wasn’t your boyfriend — a somewhat sad realization to assert;

Not that you were too excited about it yourself. You would go on this date just out of politeness and because it would be an opportunity to meet the village’s newest restaurant. Trey knew you and knew that you would try not to make things difficult for the student who was trying to approach you. You would manage to end everything on a slightly good note;

Still, Trey felt something burn in his throat every time this date was mentioned, as if he had swallowed a bunch of mustard. Talking about this with Cater, the friend teased him by saying that this feeling should probably be jealousy. But Cater added that if Trey was so concerned about your situation, he should confess his feelings right away;

To put it mildly, Trey didn't know how to do it. He didn't think you considered him someone more important than a friend and didn't want things to get awkward between you. But what if Cater was right? Would it really be madness to think you feel the same way? Trey didn't know. Love can be more complicated than a recipe with twenty ingredients and four rest times of the dough;

One day as Trey was walking down the hall after putting away his science club coat, he heard some laughter and a group of Diasomnia students together at a solitary spot in a single hallway. Trey stopped behind the wall when he heard your name being mentioned and even though it wasn't his nature, he tried to eavesdrop on the group's conversation;

From what Trey could pick up, the guy who asked you out wasn’t interested in you and this situation was a setup to play with you. They were jealous that Malleus visited Ramshackle to observe the gargoyles and found your mere good fellowship an insult. So the plan was to stand you up on the date and when you show up for a explanation, they would try to humiliate you even more;

A grain of mustard may be tiny but bitter enough to drive someone crazy. That's what Trey felt in his heart. A feeling of anger and revolt that started so small and was making him smoke through his head. But, taking a deep breath, he controlled himself and just smiled. Even if he wanted to punch those guys, he would actually do something... sweeter;

The next day, the group sat next by the Main Street and the student looked at the clock that marked one hour after the time he set with you at the meeting. His friends laughed but the laughter eventually died down when they saw you approach them with Trey by your side — a smile on both of your faces;

“I think something went wrong and you didn't show up at the diner. That’s sad but don’t worry!,” you gestured to Trey who had a package in his hands. “I got you a lemon meringue as dessert.” When Trey’s eyebrows arched and his smile widened, the students felt shivers. The vice of Heartslabyul threw the meringue neatly in the face of the guy who asked you out, splashing the delicious white cream on the others;

“Malleus will be very happy to find out what you were up to. Have a nice day,” Trey smiled politely and raised an invisible hat to them, walking out from there with you. You felt revenged and thanked Trey for alerting you about the prank, suddenly hugging him with all the strength you had;

This ended up taking him by surprise but Trey hugged you back and when you walked away, he kissed your forehead. You touched the spot he kissed, your spirits blooming like a beautiful red rose. And because Trey was more of a surprise box than people realized, he said he had just one more important thing he wanted to talk to you about. But this could be discussed on a date in that restaurant you wanted to see.

You were kind of down when Deuce talked to you after class. Apparently, an Octavinelle student asked you out and even though you accepted without thinking, you didn't seem too eager for it. You didn't tell Deuce the reason why but he didn't need much to know that you got into some trouble without meaning to;

One thing he understands perfectly. Deuce kept thinking about it throughout the day, partly racking up the feeling of helplessness he felt for not being able to help you get rid of a simple date and another part trying to understand what made that Octavinelle student invite you in the first place. You didn't have many acquaintances there besides Azul and the tweels;

Talking about it with Jack only made Deuce feel even more apprehensive about the whole thing. Jack wasn't one to judge others, but he wouldn't trust a flock of sheep in the hands of anyone in that dorm. Since they were your friends, they promised each other that they would keep an eye on the situation just in case;

The next day — a few hours before the date — Deuce was on his way back to the classroom because he had left his wallet in his backpack and only noticed when he arrived at the cafeteria. In this, he ended up overhearing a conversation between an Octavinelle’s group and they were laughing as they commented on how their friend was just a short time away from going out with the Ramshackle’s Prefect and would serve you the most spicy and terrible dish anyone could eat. The scandal you would make would be epic;

Their motive was not one of the best. They had been attacked by Azul during his berserk lapse before his overblot and they felt that if you hadn't stepped in to begin with, nothing stressful at that level would have happened. They didn't personally cared that Azul had put a third of the entire school’s students as forced laborers into the Mostro Lounge;

Deuce couldn't believe what he was hearing. After all the work you had and the hardships you went through to help them — he always felt guilty for letting you down that time — there were still people who didn't accept your good deeds! Deuce was disgusted. For the situation, for their plan, for the petty reasons and because the person he loved the most was involved in it;

Deuce gave the classroom door a good punch and ran out of there with the fury of a thousand card soldiers. Octavinelle’s students heard him and followed him to try to stop him from returning to the cafeteria. But Deuce’s anger was such that he ran like the wind through the hallways, his angry expression implying for anyone to get out of his way;

He managed to get to the cafeteria just in time to see that Octavinelle’s student next to you, marking the last details of the meeting with a sly smile. “You bastard!,” Deuce took him by the collar and stared at him steadily, his gaze sparkling. “Do you really have the courage to do this to someone who just wanted to help?!” The curses that followed it were pretty heavy;

You tried to hold Deuce’s arm and ask what was going on, to which he basically repeated the words of the boy’s friends out loud — these ones who tried to get out of there but the Leech twins blocked the door and exchanged sadistic smiles. Luckily, they managed to break up the fight before anything serious happened. The Octavinelle’s student swored at Deuce and you slapped him;

“Don't you dare talk about him like that, asshole! I'd rather go out with Deuce a thousand times because he's a decent guy!,” you confessed, too agitated by the situation and the insult the boy made to your crush to feel any shame about what you said. Deuce was shocked by that. He wasn't paying attention to anything else, not even Azul who stepped up after that;

You noticed Deuce’s intense gaze on you and gave him a faint smile, your feelings calming and the realization that you said more than you should. But to your surprise, Deuce managed to muster up enough courage to ask you out another day and you could spend that time together. Maybe something good will come out of it, don’t you think?

Silver was awake when he saw a Savanaclaw student ask you out on a date. It was a strange situation and even though Silver was still a little drowsy, he could tell that you were kind of led to accept that request — the student achieved this feat with a lot of calm and meticulously chosen words of self-deprecation;

You were going on that date for the sake of pity and that didn't make you feel good. Silver touched your shoulder but said nothing. He admired your kindness in accepting to go through this situation, yet he felt strange. Silver’s heart was heavy, sad and full of doubts. For the first time, he wondered why you would be next to him at that moment then. He wasn’t actually more interesting than that other guy…;

Since Silver seemed quieter than usual throughout the day, Kalim talked to him after class. In this, he ended up revealing his confused thoughts about you. Silver knew that you were very different from others in his eyes, but he couldn’t prick his finger on exactly what. To his own surprise, Kalim was able to identify the cause of all this: good old love, like in the fairy tales;

Silver thought much about this conclusion. That explained a lot. The reason why his heart would become so happy when you were around and heavy when you looked sad. He wanted to protect you, he wanted to see your smile light up his life. It was as if Silver had been asleep for all this time until you awakened him with your presence;

Silver still wasn't sure about confessing to you yet. He didn't want to be rude or selfish and get in the way of your date. The next day, he was inside a toilet cubicle when he heard the noise of water being poured in abundance and some laughter echoed through the place. Silver looked through the crack in the cubicle and identified some Savanaclaw students;

They commented among themselves about how their friend managed to set a trap and you fell like a duckling. The date that had been planned at the cafeteria would culminate in them dumping a bucket of water at you and getting revenge because you got in the way of Leona’s plans to win the magift intra-championship. As soon as the gang left the bathroom, Silver left too and took a shortcut to the cafeteria;

Silver knew his word alone wouldn't be enough to prove their frame, but if he could protect you from any attack, he’d fight anything in his way — a wall of thorns, a dragon, an entire jungle, anything for your safety. Silver arrived in time to catch up with the group before they got at you first;

Lilia was proud of his son’s improvement in spells. “It's a trap,” Silver warned you and turned to the boy sitting across from you. “I would never fool someone I love like that! I absolutely cannot forgive you!”;

It was the first time you had seen Silver’s eyes, normally a calm blue-lilac hue, become so firm and angry, almost losing its color. You stood up next to Silver, your beloved knight who arrived just in time to rescue you. The Savanaclaw student tried to punch Silver but he stopped the blow with extreme ease;

“Silver, never mind. A second cavalry arrived,” you pointed behind the other boy where Leona was with an expression of tremendous sour humor — first, they interrupted his lunch, then more problems accumulated. As the conclusion of this situation unfolded far away, Silver and you walked out towards the courtyard where everything was quieter;

Silver’s words about you being someone he loved still echoed in your mind. You stopped him and asked about it. Deuce, who is very proud of his work as a member of the halloween comitee, so he asks you to go to the party with him to celebrate the success halloween week was! he makes sure to remember in which tables are your favorite candy! thinks your costume really fits you, will be blushing as he compliments it.

Jack, who is exhausted after having to deal with the chaos that was this event and Savanaclaw's antics, but still asks you to go with him because he saw how excited you were. this was your first halloween in twisted wonderland, so he wanted to make it a night to remember. his tail will be wagging once he sees you, a mischievous smile on your face as you prepare to go trick or treating together.

Azul, who had helped to plan the decorations of the party and just so happened to favour your favorite color. oh, there also seem to be a lot of food that you like on the buffet. he will walk you around the room, arms interwined, as you make rounds to make sure everything is going smoothly. sttuters when you compliment his costume but tries to act nonchalant about it.

Jade, who has scared you on more than one occasion during the week, taking delight in your frightened expression. as an apology for the stress, he asks you to accompany him to the party, no tricks involved. the two of you have a great time scaring the rest of the unsuspecting students together <3

Kalim, who is so excited for the party he asks you to go with him on the first day of the week. everytime he sees you, he comments something about it. once the day arrives, he's pratically jumping, full of energy to spend. will drag you to the dance floor and might even start a costume competition. will cheer the loudest for your costume!

Vil, who just wants to relax after being the chairman of the halloween comitee and taking multiple photos with fans during the week. still, he wouldn't mind your company. the two of you stay little time inside the room. instead, you find yourself walking with him around the garden, loud music playing on the background and the stars shining above. a setting fitting for a vampire, you think. still, his hand is warm where it holds yours, his smile warmer.

Epel, who finally gets to experiment all of the city folk candy! he asks you to go with him so you could have this experience together, seeing as you had never eaten any of the more extravagant candy either. you two have a blast trying all types of food and scaring other students, laughing into the night.

Idia, who doesn't want to go, he hates parties! still, since you asked him to, he thinks he can make an exception for you... but he'll only stay for a bit! after not even an hour has passed, you find yourself pressed comfortably against his side on his warm bed, a blanket enveloping both of you as you have a classic horror movie marathon.

Malleus, who wants to apologize for causing so much trouble for you after choosing Ramshackle as Diasomnia's spot. you accept his invitation, reassuring him it wasn't his fault the guests got rowdy. nobody dares to try to scare you with him by your side, some even giving you candy willingly. you are fascinated by the halloween stories he has to tell, sharing some stories from your world too, talking in the garden and away from the crowd, just the two of you <3

Lilia, who was having the time of his life watching so many shenanigans unfold during the week. he wants to make sure you'll have a good time at the party, and who better than someone who's experienced thousands of halloweens to show you how it's done? he takes you dancing and trick or treating, making pauses to experiment something or other from the food tables. strangely enough, he feels as if no other halloween was as fun as this one he spent by your side.

This was super fun I’m probably going to write atleast one of the other prompts thank you for the ideas!!! I initially used a randomized picker but I didn’t like the matchups so I kept the ones I liked then edited a few of the others. This took a little longer than expected but I hope you enjoy it!

Riddle, Floyd •Floyd tries to scare Riddle by simply jumping out and saying “Boo” •It worked a little too well and Floyd ended up being thrown 5 feet into the air with magic •Floyd refuses to ever let Riddle live that down and is determined to bring it up every time he sees him doing something important •Overall it was a 10/10 scare and was super successful ,Someone please give Riddle a break /j

Deuce, Ace •Ace tried to scare Deuce by using wind magic to act like their was a ghost there, you know like how people say if there’s a sudden wind gust and chill then there’s a ghost present •Deuce 100% believed it and absolutely freaked out •It wouldve been a great scare if Ace hadn’t given it away by laughing so hard •He ended up with a cauldron on top of him and got punished by Riddle for “being so childish” but it was totally worth it to see how scared Deuce got •Will bring it up anytime he thinks Deuce is getting too cocky •Definitely a 10/10 scare, very successful and Ace has a recording of it

Malleus, Leona •Malleus tried to scare Leona by doing a classic jumpscare since Lilia had attempted the same thing on him and it fascinated him !! •It worked slightly •Definitely gave Leona a slight scare but he didn’t show it at all •Malleus got disappointed at his reaction and Leona got ticked off at himself that something so simple was able to startle him •Overall a solid 5/10 was definitely more entertaining to watch as an outsider than it was to either of the ones involved

Vil, Rook •Surprisingly enough it was Vil who tried to scare Rook by just standing still as a statue when he thought Rook didn’t notice him enter the room, he was determined to get Rook back for all the scares he’s done to him over the years •Absolutely failed Rook noticed him immediately •Started saying how beautiful he looked •When Vil didn’t reply or show any shift in expression Rook picked him and started carrying him around like a bag •Vil started freaking out and after like 5 minutes of struggling he was finally let go •Will never attempt this again •Overall a -100/10 it was enjoyed by Rook but gave Vil a heart attack

Silver, Jade •Quite the odd choice but this time I feel Jade is the one scaring Silver •Silver is one of the few people to not be actively scared of the tweels so, of course, Jade wants to change this by just generally discussing disturbing topics and showing his teeth more than usual during a conversation with Silver •Doesn’t work •Silver grew up around Malleus he’s seen scarier things than some pointy teeth •Lilia has told much scarier stories than Jade could ever dream of •While this doesnt work as intended, Jade has found a new appreciation towards Silver and thinks of him more highly •3/10 didn’t work but might’ve started a slight friendship between the 2

Kalim, Jamil •Kalim tries to scare Jamil by prank calling him with the rest of the light music club gang •Didn’t work •Jamil recognized his voice immediately •Starts scolding him and saying how dangerous it was •Honestly pretty boring to say the least •Overall a 2/10 fun idea maybe next time let one of there other light music members do the talking

Cater, Trey •Cater tried to prank Trey by puttin Kool-aid in his shower spigot so the water comes out red •DEFINITELY WORKS •Trey screamed and started freaking out •Cater wouldve filmed it if Trey wasn’t literally in the shower •Most likely won’t do this again just because it wouldn’t be surprising but was definitely worth it •Was a once in a lifetime experience Cater won’t ever forget •Trey was not pleased but got less tense when realizing it was, in fact, not blood •Overall a 10/10 was worth the week of extra chores he got for doing it

Azul, Idia •Wow Idia outside?! •I mean he loves Halloween so obviously he has to pull a few scare pranks on his buddies for the season !! •He decides the best way to scare Azul is by putting ominous writing, you’re next, on his bathroom mirror and creeping behind him to tap his shoulders when he sees the message •Who let him into the dorm? Why the lovely tweels of course !!! •Works super well •Azul screams when he feels the hands placed on his shoulders •He turned around to see Idia and the tweels holding back laughter •Refuses to acknowledge how scared that made him and avoids Idia for a few days afterwards •The only reason he stopped avoiding Idia was when he found out he had a video of the encounter so he had to go negotiate for him to delete it •Idia refused to delete it and since the tweels found it funny they don’t do anything either so he still has it along with multiple backups of it •10/10 scare prank, it worked better than Azul would ever admit

Jack, Epel •Epel tried to scare Jack by putting a plastic severed hand on his bed •Only half worked •Scared him for a split second then he immediately noticed it was plastic and threw it away without saying anything •Somehow Vil got wind of this and Epel got heavily scolded for “trying something so immature” •Overall a 2/10 he would not do it again and there was no real reaction

Lilia, Ruggie •Lilia tried to scare Ruggie by appearing in front of him randomly •Totally worked •Ruggie went flying so high Lilia swore he had wings •Lilia had Cater record the whole thing and send it to him •Ruggie tried his best to compose himself afterwards but felt his heart racing for atleast 3 minutes afterwards •Overall a solid 7/10 his reaction was hilarious but he also felt like he was gonna die from how fast his heart was beating

Sebek, Ortho •Ortho tried to scare Sebek by playing creepy ambient noises then projecting ghosts onto the walls •It works though you wouldn’t be able to notice by his body language •He just stood stiff as a board until the projection of the ghosts and he started yelling for them to leave •His yelling was filled with audible worry but it seemed Ortho didn’t notice •It was fine though because Ortho could tell he got him just from the vitals •Overall a 5/10 it was entertaining but other than that it wasn’t anything special

⛓Ace Trappola⛓

Isn't every other night a sleepover with Ace? Yes. Is it official? No, he's always intruding! But this time, he wants an official sleepover, just you, and him-WHEN DID GRIM GET INTO THIS EQUATION?! Ace will not tolerate popcorn stealing of any sort!

Ace is clingy as hell, he literally won't let go of you no matter what, and if you comment on it, he turns it around on you?? Will push Grim off the first time he jumps on him when a scary part plays in the movie, but next jumpscare, he doesn't care if Grim clings onto him.

Speaking of scary movies, Ace loves scary movies. Thinks he's going to be a knight in shining armor, he is crying into your pillow alongside with Grim. Will also sneakily hug himself on you. He'll make a dumb excuse like "this pillow is too small!" No he will not explain any further.

Cuddliest number one, Ace is a big fan of cuddling, and he's not ashamed of it either! At least, not when others are around. He's honestly so warm too? There's just a comfortable type of feel with him. Yes, Ace will let Grim into the cuddle session, even if he makes a snarky comment about it.

As cuddly as Ace could be, he's the worst sleeper! You guys have to move place to place for Ace to get any sort of sleep. Tried the couch, tried the floor, what's that? You two are gonna sleep on your bed? Get ready to be smothered by him in his sleep. He ends up kicking Grim off the bed a few times, Grim can't take this anymore.

If Ace ends up waking up earlier than you, he'll watch you sleep. He loves tracing little patterns on your skin, if you turn in your sleep from that, he'll pull you back so he can see your face again.

"Sleepover tomorrow again? I'm in! You want to invite Deuce? Nah, three's a crowd already, no room on the bed!" Ace gets excited and tries to find as many scary movies as possible for next time.

⛓Deuce Spade⛓

This is Deuce's first sleepover. He's never been to one before because the other delinquents said that's what babies do. He will never live that down either, not with as much fun he's having right now.

Deuce takes this sleepover very seriously. Wants to make this the best sleepover in existence, and has a list of what he wants to do, if you don't mind, of course!

You manage to build a pillow fort in the Ramshackle lounge, Grim almost lit one of the blankets on fire, but hey, you three were having fun. You put a flashlight on, and make shadow puppets with Deuce. Deuce is jealous of all the cool shadows you could do. He can only do a bunny, alligator, and a cauldron?!

To make this an official sleepover, Deuce wants to sleep on the floor, he even makes it comfy by double laying blankets on the ground. He's so stiff when he lays next to you, Deuce is just so nervous?? You notice, and hold his hand, he melts immediately.

Deuce phone rings in the middle of the night, turns out it's his mom asking how the sleepover has been so far. "Mom, I know I told you about this...but it's one in the morning..!" His mom will make him put her on speaker so she can say hi to you.

Overall, the sleepover has been really fun, Deuce will keep this moment in his heart for life, and would be very excited for the next!

"Maybe we can bake next time..? You're fine with that? Then I'll be waiting for next week!"

⛓Riddle Rosehearts⛓

Like Deuce, Riddle has never been to a sleepover, his mother would never allow it, so when you ask him if he wants to sleep over at Ramshackle for the night, he agrees...reluctantly.

This was the longest he has ever been up, he was usually in bed by early hours, but you two lasted up til two in the morning, and while Riddle complains about this, he's nowhere near tired, not that he'd admit it.

One of Riddle's favorite moments were the movies, movies he'd never gotten the chance to watch before. Also, he's a big fan of Titanic?? He cries, and hides his face up against your chest. "This doesn't make sense! Why couldn't Rose just move over?! Where is her logic?!"

You definitely have to comfort him after that one. What's better comfort than cuddling? Riddle refuses to sleep on your floor, there's no way you will catch him laying down there. However, he will feel extremely bad if you're not in your bed with him. Riddle is way too shy to initiate any type of intimacy, or touch, but once your arm pulls him in closer, he'll get all flustered and cuddle into your chest.

You wake up like an hour later and ask him if he wants any leftover cake in your fridge, Riddle wants to yell at you for waking him up, but cake does sound nice... You both eat the rest of it, and pass out on your couch.

The next day Riddle swears he slept like an angel, while you're there with your back cramped from the position you were in on your couch, it was worth having Riddle lay on you though.

"Thank you for inviting me, y/n. Next sleepover will be hosted in my room, and no, we will not be having late night snacks of any sort." Riddle lied. He was the one waking you up this time.

⛓Trey Clover⛓

You two were studying, but since it was so late, you might as well have a sleepover at Ramshackle? Trey definitely calls Riddle before the sleepover starts, wouldn't want his housewarden filing a missing person report.

Trey will definitely bake something for you, and Grim. You want cookies? He'll make cookies? Cake, that's a piece of cake. If you don't laugh at his little corny joke, he'll get a little sad.

Makes sure you brush your teeth thoroughly right before bed. Grim says he doesn't have a toothbrush, guess what? Trey has one right here, wherever he magically got that from...you swear he's the tooth fairy's co-captain.

Sleeps like a log, honestly, no matter where he lays. Trey suggests sleeping on the floor, remembering the sleepovers he had with Che'nya, if you sleep anywhere else, he might crush you.

Not a big cuddler, but will go crazy if you let him hold his arm, or something. He also has a bedtime fedora. No, you don't let him wear it. You refuse. Grim burns it.

"I didn't cause you any trouble at night, are you sure? Maybe we can do this again, if it's not a bother..?"

⛓Cater Diamond⛓

Cater comes fully prepared, he is a professional at slumber parties. He has everything you will possibly need in his little diamond-shaped bag. He will keep it out of safe reach from Grim.

Facemasks, facemasks, facemasks! It's a daily routine for Cater, but he brought you a special one since you obviously don't do it as a routine. If you hiss like an animal, Cater will spray you with water. Would also love to do your nails, only if you let him! He wants to show you how he practiced your aesthetic!

Cuddliest number two, Cater is really clingy, especially with you. Wants to take a photo of everything that goes down here tonight. The pictures are the most ungodly photos in existence. Definitely posting them later!

You and Cater watch teen romance type of movies, just so you both can make fun of the characters. It's a real good laugh because what is this love interest even doing?! You two most definitely reenact the romantic scenes, Cater does amazing impressions.

Cater loves sharing a big blanket with you, you get to hold his hand, tickle him, let him lay on you. Grim is gagging at the amounts of affection. "What's that, Grimmy? You want to hold my hand too? Give your paw to Cay-Cay!"

Cater brings ghost peppers for fun, wants to do a little challenge. Cater is surprisingly very neutral with the pepper, you assume he's cheating??? Because how??

You two end up cuddling on the couch at the end, your legs are completely numb by the way, thank Cay-Cay for that.

"That was super fun, 10/10 subscribed to this idea! Let's do another one next week?<3"
