Sonic Rift — Issue 2, Page 01.
Note from the authors: it’s been two years since we finished issue one, and in that time we revisited a lot of things; including the designs of rift’s characters. These are visual updates only and have no effect on the story. Please give us your suspension of disbelief, and enjoy the issue!

This is a – quite powerful – illustration that I asked Rem to do for a certain story I’m currently writing (it’s not finished yet). Its name, indeed, is White Sound.
This story should partially explain what happened between Jack and Cynthia in the past that caused their relationship to freeze. Partially, because it is our intention to deepen this fact in the original comic we’re planning to make after Black Jack’s finale.
🔎 You can find the HD version of this artwork on our Patreon, here.
While waiting for the story, you can try to guess what’s happening here or simply enjoy the view of Cynthia crushing Jack’s shoulder. Your choice.
I just wanna see a short scene.
And there you go, poor translation. :q well…. at least I tried.. I have no idea how it looks okay to read.
Nick:
I’ve already met animals like you a lot.
Always same.
Nick:
So… which one is your role?
The good cop? or the bad cop?
Nick:
I think you are too… BUNNY to be a bad cop.
Judy:
Neither.
I just try to serve and protect.
Judy:
People are missing now. I desperately need your help, Mr. Wilde.
I need your cooperation.
Nick:
She is a good cop.
me: (small handwriting below) go get married you two
“Hum…” Jack scratched his cheek, a bit flushed. Then, he turned to me and asked: “Walker, what do you think?” ‘… I think Princess Diana needs to mind her damn princely business.’ “We have no time for parties, Savage.” “There’s always time for parties!” claimed the skunk, again, hugging Jack’s arm even more firmly. _____________________________________________________ Some days go, someone asked Rem this question… It was time to give you a proper answer.
