Part 9 of past uquiz results:
There is no childhood in Gaza š
At this time, children are usually on summer vacation, playing in the streets and going to the beach to swim. But this does not happen in Gaza. The occupation kills children in cold blood in front of their families because they demand their right to play like other children in the world. What injustice? You are my last hope. Our children want to go to school and live in peace and security
How can you help our children? This is done by donating, publishing the campaign, sharing it with friends, and reblogging. Thanks for helping us

I think more people should headcanon characters as repulsed, loveless, and non-partnering actually.
Imma use this as an opportunity to talk about one of my favorite creatures from Celtic mythology: the kelpie
(All of this is copied and pasted from my notes app š)
Now the kelpie is a shapeshifting water spirit that is usually found near like streams and rivers and I think other bodies of fresh water; it usually takes the form of a horse but is capable of taking on other shapes such as that of an old woman or a man. The thing that gives the kelpieās identity away is the fact that the kelpie is perpetually wet and cold with waterweeds in its hair or mane. When in horse form the kelpie is known for luring weary travelers to ride it; once they get on its back the kelpie then takes off into the nearest body of water, the rider, who is now stuck to the kelpie, is forced underwater by the kelpie and eventually end up drowning, after the victim is dead the kelpie eats them. If a victim ends up on the back of a kelpie one way they can prevent their death is to grab its bridle, this essentially gives the rider control.
I may or may not add more stuff to this though not specifically kelpie or folklore based, that or I might just do so on my page in general
Please info dump on this post!!
I know a lot of times people autistic/neurodivergent people feel like they have to apologize for their interests and I want to help change that.
I genuinely want to hear about your interests! I want to hear the "fun facts" and the lore of really specific media. Don't shy away from including details, you can write out a whole essay and I'll read every word. Just share about something you like unapologetically!

I feel like thereās a pretty common misconception that agender (and by extension, nonbinary) people only use they/them pronouns. So hereās a reminder that our identities are just as valid regardless of what combination of pronouns we use ā¼ļø
Thought I should clear things up and say that this āno clinical evidence of connective tissue disorderā is only on my most recent exam thingy
So every now and again I look over a note thing (idk) that my cardiologist sent to my primary physician (yes I do have access to this) and towards the bottom of the note he lists a thing of diagnoses and in that list is in his words: āNo clinical evidence of connective tissue disorderā
What does that even mean??? Like Iām pretty sure I donāt have a connective tissue disorder and Iām taking āno clinical evidence of connective tissue disorderā to be indicative of that, but what was the point of putting it under āDiagnosesā?
This doesnāt necessarily require/need any answer. Really I just felt like venting(?) out my confusion of this phrasing(?), but if you happen to know and wish to answer my inquiries go ahead
Iām so proud of myself; I let my history professor know that Iām autistic and have social anxiety and because of that I have some struggles when it comes to speaking. I also told her my pronouns. It went really well; and she asked me if the presentation that is due towards the end of the semester will be a problem (I havenāt gotten to her on that yet) and she said she appreciated my openness.
Note: I told her this information in an introduction paragraph (which is mandatory/graded) that we can use to share with her any thing that we deem of importance (if that makes sense)
YESSSS
LET THE BOOPING COMMENCE!!!
reblog if you let people spam boop you
I can actually relate to most of this list, though I donāt call myself semiverbal (this is not to say that others who relate to this arenāt allowed to call themselves semiverbal) (if that makes sense) (Iām just not sure if I can consider myself semiverbal)
(Iām not sure where I fall on the verbal? scale?)
going entire days without talking except for a few words and not noticing
going entire days saying maybe one word answers
communicating primarily through text and typing the majority of the time if i can get away with it
forgetting how to physically speak sometimes. i will know what words to say but mouth won't be able to do it
words getting mashed up and slurred together for no reason
communicating in scripts and preplanned words
if no script prepared, it's extremely difficult to come up with coherent words on the spot
constantly saying the wrong words and nothing like what i meant to say
always having to have somebody else go with places in case of needing to speak, so they can talk for me
blanking out on words and just not responding to people, sometimes walking away because too much pressure to speak
having to have someone else make phone calls for me, anything that involves a phone call i can't do
keeping like 3-4 aac methods on me at all times but still being scared to use them because that means communicating, why not just point at stuff instead
echolalia
stealthy echolalia
Iām getting some new glasses
I also got to keep my prescription thingy this time, so thatās cool
I donāt 100% understand what everything on it means but I think I get the gist
