YEAH BUT THIS ONE WILL BE DIFFERENT
me: i’ve got another idea for a fic
them: you literally have seven unfinished works
me:
I HAVE WAITED ALL YEAR TO POST THIS
Peter singing “The Best of Both Worlds” by Hannah Montana except he changes it up like
You get the Audi out front
All the trauma, all the death and destruction
Yeah, when you’re famous it can be kinda sad
It’s really you but only Ned discovers
In most ways you’re nothing like your friends
You’re making webs just like a spider
You get the worst of both worlds
Yeah, you turn to dust
Then watch Iron Man rust
You get the worst of both worlds
Mix it all together and you know that it’s the worst of both worlds
They wished for a military intervention like the one we had in 1964 who created our second and longest dictatorship who lasted over 20 years with thousands of deaths confirmed by the conflicts and to this day, thousands of deaths have no explanation due its heavy censorship
They also asked for AI-5 (Institucional Acts in free translation) and it was the most brutal act by far
I don't really talk about my own life here, but I will give an example: my grandfather is 86 years old and he was 31 when the censorship started. He fought by the rights of the poor people and the workers who were losing their jobs due the dictatorship and the economic crisis that came with it. He was friends with various singers who were exiled just by expressing their fears and how displeased they were with the military government. My grandfather was arrested by the military government to be tortured, leaving my grandmother to take care of 4 children (including my mother) and a new baby on the way, who didn't make it due her stress

My mother, Heba, a pregnant mother of five, was forced to leave Gaza for medical care just before the war erupted, separating her from her one-year-old baby and four stepchildren.😭
We as a family, already burdened by loss after the death of our biological mother four years ago, now faces unimaginable hardship without both of them.💔
We are trapped in Gaza with our father, struggling to survive amid constant shelling, displacement, and the devastation of losing our home 😔. My mother’s heart breaks every day, knowing her family is suffering while she is unable to reach them.😭
This is a life-or-death situation. Your support can help us to reunite with our mum and support us at this challenging time. Together, we can bring hope and healing to a family devastated by conflict.

me everyday
Trying. Trying so hard to spell misogyny
Finding out the very next day he left for his latest movie press tour
Panicking because you knew he’d be gone for at least five or six months
“Shit, what am I going to do?”
Telling your best friend first
“Shit Y/N, what are you going to do?”
“Why thank you for your help!”
Deciding not to tell him until he came home
Him worrying one day he called you because you were extra sensitive and missed him a lot
Your mom going to your scans and check-ups with you
“Congratulations, you’re having twins”
“WHAT THE F-”
Calling Tom like every two hours after knowing this
“Baby, when are you coming back?”
“I dunno, probably in like two months, why?”
“Oh… nothing, I just miss you so much!”
Crying everytime after hanging up
Except one time you didn’t
And Tom heard you sobbing your lungs out
And he got so worried he took the first flight home
He arrived late at night
Only to find you laying on your side on the couch, with a duvet, watching a movie and eating chocolate covered popcorn
“Y/N?”
Dropping the bowl
Looking at him with wide eyes
“Tom?”
“Yeah, it’s me baby, are you alright?”
You immediately standing up to run and hug him
Your five-month belly already showing under your pajamas
Running to his arms and him holding you, shocked, believing he was imagining things
But when you pulled away
And he saw you
He couldn’t believe his eyes
“Y/N what the fuck”
“…surprise?”
Him asking a LOT of questions
“How long have you known?”
“How far along are you?”
“Is it a boy or a girl?”
“TWINS?”
“Oh my I need to sit”
Showing him all the scan pictures you got
“Tom… are you crying?”
“No, I just, I got something in my eye it’s all”
Tom apologising for being absent for so long
And calling EVERYONE
“HAZ, I’M HAVING TWINS! Well, Y/N is, but, ya know what I mean…”
“Mom, guess what? We’re having twins!”
“Jacob, oh my goodness, I’m going to be a dad! TWINS!”
Him having to go back to work but promising he’d spend every minute with you as soon as the tour is over
But you offered him a different deal
And leaving with him for the rest of the tour
The whole cast of the movie taking care of you by Tom’s request
Especially Harrison
“Y/N why are you standing up you need to sit down here take my chair”
“I CAN’T SIT DOWN, HARRISON”
Going back home a month and half later
By then you were six and a half months pregnant
So, according to the doctor that left you like a month to prepare everything you needed
Tom refusing to let you carry anything heavy
Preparing and ensambling their nursery almost all by himself
You having to rest completely from the beginning of your seventh month
And just as the doctor predicted,
you went into early labor…
…a month and half early
“Tom, the babies are coming.”

President’s reputation battered as hearings describe handling of pandemic as inept
[Image description: Jair Bolsonaro.]
For the third time in a little over a month, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro this weekend rallied thousands of his conservative support base in a noisy motorcycle demonstration dubbed “accelerate for Christ”.
Observers had little doubt about the populist leader’s motivation: he needed to show strength. Over the past two months, the former army captain’s reputation has been battered by a stream of revelations over his government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, which have emerged in an official congressional investigation known as the CPI.
The CPI has cast the Brazilian government’s response as woefully inept and even hazardous to public health: from the president’s emphatic support for discredited remedies, such as chloroquine, to allegations that the government ignored dozens of emails regarding vaccine supply from Pfizer and even ran a parallel health ministry within the executive office.
“We had the time, we had the tools — an enviable primary healthcare-based system — but we delusionally insisted on the wrong paths,” said Luana Araujo, an infectious disease specialist, who testified at the hearings in Brasília. “Part of us still does. We chose to ignore the experience from the rest of the world, and this combination of arrogance and ignorance is far too dangerous.”
