I always kinda thought Chip looked a little like a chao... then this comic happened! (Not a reincarnation situation or anything, just a chao that looks like Chip in the same way that some chao can look like Sonic, Knuckles, Amy etc.)

I may have my opinions on the anatomical construction of the penguins in the TV specials but man, Cadence looked great, I love the way she looks in this style

Initially a study of the storybook style for a comic project I had in mind, but I wondered if I could push it a bit more to be lighting dynamic friendly so I did some additional painting over it. Honestly pretty freeing to rugged uneven strokes which now that I think about it matches sonic pretty well.
