I Really Like This Idea

I just realized the taxidermy harpy Jimmy design could be made even more interesting if his mouth was stitched shut and had buttons for eyes like a creepy doll as a reference to the jimmy is a listener/watcher headcanons 

Jimmy has been drawn as a canary hybrid and a cod hybrid and a toy but what if he was all three 

He’s a taxidermied harpy he has gills and wings and an alluring voice and is covered with the type of stitches you’d see an a doll

It’s a creepy visual I know but I think it’s interesting and manages to fit the three main hybrids he is known for

Welcome to the MCYT Sibling Showdown, where sets of siblings in the MCYT Multiverse go up against each other to determine the best sibling dynamic!

What qualifies as a set of siblings?

For the sake of the poll, sibling set nominees are divided into three categories:

Canonical: These characters are canonically siblings, biological, adopted, in-laws, or otherwise.

Canonical Honorary: These characters are canonically honorary siblings and have a sibling-like dynamic in canon.

Fanon: These characters do not have a canonical sibling dynamic, but are frequently portrayed as such in fan depictions.

Are there any limits to what dynamics I can nominate?

In-law dynamics are allowed ONLY if they are between a canonically established relationship within the source media, i.e. Fanon submissions of in-law dynamics are NOT allowed. This is to prevent bringing the entire MCYT Family Forest into the mix, for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Characters in the sibling dynamic can be main characters (played by active content creators) or NPCs (as defined in the @mcytnpcshowdown), or a combination of the two.

Real-life sibling content creators (e.g. Stampy Cat and NettyPlays) can qualify for this tournament ONLY IF their characters are also portrayed as siblings in collaborative media – a note will be added that the content creators are siblings in real life in such cases.

The number of sibling sets in the tournament will be determined by the number of individual submissions.

If you have any questions about whether a certain dynamic CAN be submitted, please ask! If there are any grey areas in the categorization, they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Rules for the Showdown

As per MCYTblr tradition, voter fraud, bribery, and propaganda is allowed. Just DON'T BE TOXIC.

The mod will not be playing fair. Please tag this blog if you want everyone to see your propaganda.

The mod also has the final right to decide which nominations go in the poll, but they will only interfere with the nominations if they have to.

If a dynamic is nominated under the Canonical Honorary category, please submit at least one piece of evidence from the source material to prove they are Canonical Honorary siblings.

The number of nominations for each dynamic will only be revealed once nominations are closed. If you want to check if a certain dynamic has been nominated (yet), you may ask that.

This is your chance to submit your most beloved (or hated, who am I to judge?) elderly characters and see them fight to the death against their fellow old people!

Rules:

Character must be considered old in their canon (no set age limit since this can vary based on species and the like)

To try to keep it more fair, I will only be including one character per source material. HOWEVER if they are part of a pair of old people that must not be separated at all costs, I will allow them to compete together as a team.

Keeping with the previous point, you may submit real people, but since I think it would be funny, I am counting real life as a source material, so only a single irl old person will be able to compete.

No HP characters, but everything else is free game

So uh today I learned that Night at the Museum has a fandom and a lot of it is people shipping Jebidiah and Octavius and I love that for them

Empires smp god au

Pearl Goddess of the harvest and farming her title was literally the farmer pearl and in the past people kept track of harvest by looking at the phases of the moon and positioning of the constellations

Lizzie the trickster goddess of the ocean and government ocean because in season one she was a fish goddess and government because in season two she was a mayor and in both she is a scam artist trying to make a profit through morality ambiguous means

Joel god of thunder and art in canon he is the god of thunder and if anyone in empires was a art god it would be the guy that sculpted clones of himself and built stratos/mezalia

Katherine goddess order and balance and duality she fights evil by transforming from the pretty pink princess to the axe wielding warrior and as lady Katherine of the overgrown she is the one that is neutral the one that Try’s to keep order

Jimmy is The god of death for obvious reasons

Joey is the god of wealth and desire because he is a pirate and pirates like gold also he steals from false and really wants to get in xornoth s pants he also Katherine’s (understandable)

Shubble is the goddess of nature and the wild because her whole wolf thing she had going on in the first season of empires and the infected outlaw thing she had in season 2

Scott god of the passage of time and the four seasons (and rainbows) because he has connections to flowers (spring) in life series and stars in origin smp and winter in empires smp

Pix god of messengers and prophecies( he is in charge of the recaps that gives people information they might have missed also he is a prophet)

Fwhip god of fire and revenge because in both seasons of empires he has had a stubborn heated rivalry with jimmy and did not take the break up well also in art his hair is fire truck red

Gem goddess knowledge and magic because she as the wizard gem she is a powerful magician and because as the princess of dawn she teaches others about the sun god also the wizard gems empire is literally a school

Sausage love and family and lust because he is know for his platonic love (Hermes and Eddie and pearl) and let’s say his passionate spicy love( pole dancing and flirting)

Oli god of music and insanity he is a bard and who’s words make zero sense to everyone and watching him you get sensory overload ( he is the oldest but nobody believes him)

false goddess of mystery and adventure and new beginnings because she is lost her memory and is a very adventurous person also do to the lost memories she basically started from square one when she came to empires

Empires smp avengers au seablings 

Jimmy and Lizzie are a combination of Thor and aqua man they have a human dad and ocean queen mom 

Having kids with a human was a very controversial move from the last queen 

she met her human love many years ago he was a British man that loved to sail he was surprisingly respectful to the ocean at a time in history where that was rare 

The way he treated her reminded her of the days of her youth when she could go to the surface and be treated like a praised goddess and not as a feared monster 

when he died she was heartbroken and after many years of gathering energy she was finally ready to lay her eggs she put them as close to the beach they met as she could with out being close enough to be spotted by humans 

the royal family has a  magical trident that like Thor’s hammer can only be used by a select few in this case anyone with royal blood 

the queen died laying her eggs and a supervillain with a vendetta against the kingdom took the opportunity and tried to kill them so that the line would end and the royal powers could never be used again 

but two eggs survived one shiny and brimming with magic the other cracked barely holding on to life but miraculously still intact 

There aunt was put in charge of watching over the remaining two eggs after there mothers death 

she was unsure if the cracked one still had a living being in it but she held hope that it would pull through 

but even though everyone wanted both eggs to hatch they hoped that the one with more potential hatched first so they could be the heir 

And the shining one did hatch first and from it came out a very powerful baby girl with blue skin and pink hair she looked just like her mother but had her fathers brown eyes the kingdom celebrated and she was immediately brought to the palace to be queen 

there aunt ruled until she was ready and because of that she was unable to watch the second egg but she still had hope and made sure there was always someone watching 

But After much more waiting they gave up hope of the other one making it and left it there 

the aunt was heart broken and though she wished to takeoff work to check it herself she knew they where right and the thought of going back to the place her sister died was to much 

not to mention wasting resources and sending people to watch an egg so close to humans was dangerous 

Lizzie knew she had a sibling and was excited to meet them so when they broke the news to her she was saddened 

she would steak off to visit the egg ever now and then 

But thousands of years later it hatched out came a boy but no one was there to celebrate the miracle 

he found his way to the near by shore and because he took more after there human dad in appearance he was assumed to be a baby human 

And the next time Lizzie went to the egg she found the remains she went straight home to spread the news but no one believed her she was told that it was probably the remains of one of their many potential siblings that they didn’t clear from the area 

she promised to look for her sibling but tragedy struck her again when her aunt died she took the throne and she could no longer search for her sibling but she knew he was out there and hoped he would find his way back there her she swore as soon as they reunited she would be the best sister ever 

the trident is powerful giving the wielder complete control of water that does not just include The ocean but all water like rainstorms and the ability to fly by controlling the water in the air 

 jimmy was brought into the foster care system but ended up being taken out by a secret organization that sought to create assassins he was singled out because of he Atlantean durability and strength they didn’t know he was Atlantean but his inhuman traits caused him to be seen as a perfect candidate for there brutal training program

while going through the harsh training he managed to hold on to his optimism by remembering the cowboy movies he’d obsess over while he was in the system he would think about how they would face obstacles and eventually get there happy ending and comforted himself by saying that he would be just like them and have a happy ending 

he only knows basic knowledge since he was taken out of school and was forced to focus on training they wanted him to be stupid obedient and not ask questions 

he was always ignored and tried to fill the silence with noise with added bonus of getting them to react on occasion 

he is way stronger than n the average Atlantean lizzie is still stronger though

when he got out he became the vigilante sheriff like his mother he loved being respected

 both he and his sister where recruited to join the team and they booth excepted 

eventually they realized they where related when jimmy was able to lift the trident after that a lot of things started to make sense to jimmy the main ones being able to breath underwater and talking to fish 

why not both

It would not be his first polyamorous marriage attempt

hoping this time it works out(it probably won’t)

I don’t think season 2 Joel is a god but I do think the headcannon I’ve seen of Joel from season 1 and season 2 being the same person is true 

I believe what happened was that after his palace was destroyed and his loved ones went missing joel searched for a purpose to distract himself from the grief 

He still wanted to leave behind a legacy so he became obsessed with building his magnum opus a statue just like his citizens but so much more he would get giant muscles and be very tall and have the power of a god

he based the design off of myths like Zeus because he was inspired by his wife who was debatably a goddess also he used famous Greek sculptures as references 

While He is the same Joel from season 1 he is not an immortal god like he claims he is It would be ironic because it would make him making fun of Jimmy for being a toy hypocritical 

I also think the reason Joel targets Jimmy so much is because they used to be brothers in laws and he used to think Jimmy was a great ally and friend so seeing someone with the same face and even some similarities in personality being a corrupt sheriff well it infuriates him to no end
