I read Bucky and my Winter Soldier neurons activated out of nowhere

When Bucky first reunited with Kristen, he seemed happy to see her and went in for the hug. I’m hoping this means that he is growing to know why she left and hopefully looking for support from her in the future.

However, if I were Brennan “I’m here for the emotional devastation” Lee Mulligan, I wonder if maybe it’s Bucky’s instinct of like…”Mom and Dad are terrible and pushy. They put too much pressure on Kristen, and they put too much pressure on me now. But if I’m nice to Kristen and show her that not everyone who worships Helio is that way, maybe she’ll come back, and I won’t have to be alone anymore.”

Which would be devastating but such an opportunity of interesting character development and growth for him and Kristen. It could also be a good example of how these family relationships are abusive/unhealthy to everyone involved.

I really hope the rest of The Ratgrinders continue to be set up as opposites to The Bad Kids partially because that would be fun, but mostly because it makes Kristen's beef with Kipperlilly way funnier.

If anything Kipperlilly was set up to oppose Riz, who's way too busy to care right now, and something about Kristen swooping in to start beefing with this type-A rogue while completely ignoring some other narrative foil npc is a riot to me.
