;-) Part 1 An hour later found Ignis in the throws of labor, far earlier than any birthing book or medical website had informed him labor would progress. Ignis was someone who planned meticulously, and he’d done a great deal of research into childbirth with every spare moment he’d had over the entirety of his pregnancy. He knew about the differences between Braxton Hicks contractions and the real thing, he knew the stages of labor and how things would progress, he knew how to time contractions and prepare for active labor. But despite his research, in the face of the real thing he felt wholly out of his element—not that any amount of research could have prepared him for the reality of giving birth in a chocobo stable in the middle of a storm while his partners were well out of reach.
There had been no obvious signs of early labor before his three companions left him at the post—and now here he was, a scant few hours later, with his water broken and his contractions coming so closely together he could barely breathe.
Another contraction washed across him, so strong he could no longer hold back a shout of pain. The noise unsettled the chocobo, who fretted and shifted around him with anxious energies to match his own, but whose movements were background to Ignis’ discomfort.
Pressure was mounting between his legs, so suddenly and urgently Ignis allowed his thighs to fall open as if he might push right then and there, despite his surroundings and the fact that his pants were still firmly in place. Without meaning to, he whimpered, and blindly reached a hand beside him as if someone might he waiting there. A name was on his tongue, but even he did not know which, even as half a syllable slipped out in desperation before he viciously bit his lip to contain it.
He was shaking when the contraction passed, enough that his fingers were uncoordinated as he brought them to the zipper of his pants and tugged it down. He should have removed his pants the moment contractions started, but he’d been foolishly holding on to the hope that Noct, Gladio and Prompto would arrive before any undressing was necessary. He’d miscalculated, trusted too much in research and data for something as unpredictable as childbirth.
“Alright,” he whispered aloud to no one but the chocobo, who chattered overhead. "I should have known this child would be as impatient as their fathers."
With his hands trembling and his pants still soaked, it was difficult work removing them. He struggled so long another contraction overcame him before he’d managed to maneuver the damp denim over the curve of his buttocks.
Ignis lost count of contractions. All he knew was pain and pressure and the slow drag of wet denim across sensitive skin, the progress of it so slow that Ignis could feel the burn of a head against his vaginal opening by the time he’d rucked the thick fabric around his ankles. When his legs were finally bare, they sprung apart of their own accord and the burning between them increased so intensely that Ignis threw his head back into the downy body behind him and screamed.
As the next contraction came, practically on top of the last, Ignis tucked his chin to his breast and pushed as if he were in the middle of battle, so forcefully he felt the head, and then the shoulders and body pass in one quick, brutal motion. With the baby came a new flood of liquid, and then a sense of calm Ignis had never experienced before, the rush of it so sudden and relieving he felt dizzy with it. Dazed, Ignis reached down and pulled the squirming bundle to his chest. Around him, the chocobo squirmed and called, excited by the commotion. Ignis was trembling with shock and cold, but the chocobo were warm. They preened his hair and nuzzled at his head and cheeks as he pulled open his shirt and wrapped the fabric over his baby’s wet, ruddy skin.
The wailing of a human infant could not have been pleasant for the birds, but they remained in place despite the disturbance. Grateful and exhausted, with the shock and adrenaline slowly dissipating, Ignis settled back against his companions and resigned himself to wait. Well, then. Perhaps the babe got a bit of impatience from him, too.

will i go for a full house? who knows!
i actually put some effort into this
‘veck,’ you ask. ‘did you make new ocs AGAIN. don’t you have A LOT OF OCs ALREADY’
answer: yeah I DID make even MORE ocs
new ocs! I watch a lot of dramas! I had some ideas! I combined those ideas into a six episode format that I’ll probably never find the time to draw fully but:
jun and king! king is a detective and he’s really good at his job! jun used to be a history teacher, but he quit his job after he found out he was expecting, and now he’s writing a novel about some kinda unsolved spooky stuff that happened in the area twenty years ago! they have a lot of plants in their house!
this just in blonde guy makes two more lil blonde guys!
follow up to thisss
A series of pictures and comics for how Lazlo and Georg got together as an official couple. Most of this is “old canon” as I’m always in the works of changing things up until someday maybe committing myself to one singular timeline of events, but this is the most concise it’ll ever be.
As well! There are stories involved that you can read (both contain labor+birth so be aware)
When Georg and Lazlo first met (a story I commissioned someone else to write)
The Sequel: Then they have their own kids together (by the same author)
If you like the stories, I seriously recommend supporting the author!!
This isnt even like, that weird I just cant post link mpreg on main you feel me
