usually the harvester is this barely understandable figure that only john can see properly, all the seasons at once pressed down into a form, the roots from the earth curling and twisting like bone and muscle and sinew, but sometimes

he sticks around in a form more recognizable as a man, gets down in the dirt on his knees, and helps deliver the upcoming harvest with his own hands

a scrap idea about a prince or whatever and he ends up in an arranged marriage with a knight from one of the fa/rie courts and is totally unprepared for how…..agressive fa/rie children are

Their child will be so very loved
