currently following one of the best arcane fanfics that i've had the utmost pleasure of stumbling upon.

it's an AU that's very similar to canon, except no hextech. has chemtech though, which is different!

the fanfic also pays respect to caitlyn and vi's character arcs and, well, very beings. it is a story that is many levels better at treating caitvi than, IMO, the dirt-rag that is arcane season 2. just loads better and more satisfying. and in this fic, cassandra kiramman is an amazing councilor AND mother, not just to caitlyn!

you, yes YOU, go on and start reading "i will give you my rebel heart" by @caitlynkirammansrifle ! they've written a story that, IMO, rivals whatever the hell arcane's season 2 was. highly recommend this fic.

do note that this fanfic is ongoing, but the wait is always worth it.

jinx "everyone that gets close to me dies" and caitlyn always sighting her down the end of a barrel.... im JUST SAYING. jinx's greatest fear being hurting the people she's closest to, which extends to letting anyone get close in the first place....and of course the only character that was never going to be a problem with is THE OTHER ADC. im just saying. help im just saying. what if your greatest enemy was yourself. and then this other girl's greatest enemy was ALSO YOU. and you both had the world's worst emotional intimacy issues. luckily no one can get close to you because you both also occupy the Same Role Of Ranged Fighter. except. oh no ! you are both ranged fighters !

and seeing so many criticisms of caitlyn during s2 makes me feel so validated. i'm now sure i'm not the only one uncomfortable with caitlyn's decisions during s2.

i insist upon my belief that vi deserves better. like, WAY better.

she deserves to get out of the hellhole that is zaun, from piltover and its judgemental people, from caitlyn and her violent tendencies, and to reunite with jinx somewhere far from their home cities.

I wasn't kidding in my last post about her not being forgiven if she was a straight man, imagine if Jayce and even Ekko hit Mel/Jinx with a gun and then sleep with a subordinate, who for them is nothing more than physical comfort, and suddenly go back to the woman they hit with a gun and have a happy ending with her, they would be more hated than many politicians in real life.

I swear this is my last hate post against Caitlyn from s2, but I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive Christian and Amanda. I hope that in the future Noxus series they don't romanticize violence again, especially since everyone in Noxus is a war criminal lol.
